  1. I would like to share something else because this was such a good movie. Lord Mansfield, in real life, had the authority to abolish slavery by just signing it into law. And, so he did just that, and that ended slavery in the UK. Unfortunately, Lincoln was assassinated, by the opposition, for abolishing slavery and uniting the US. The guy who killed Lincoln was pro-slavery and supported the confederate states. US had to go through a Civil War to abolish slavery and for the US to be united. UK didn't. However, Gandhi made India an independent country. He was not assassinated for this reason. Gandhi was assassinated because he was responsible for dividing India into India and Pakistan. And, the guy who killed him was supporting him, and he was of the same "religion" as Gandhi. The split that Gandhi did reminds me of Mahabharata. Bhishma, the great sage and warrior and the son of Ganga, was so upset that Prince Duryodhana divided Hastinapur in half because Duryodhana only wanted to be the king. He was not the crown prince and only did that to become king. The other half was ruled by his cousin Prince Arjun, a great warrior. And, the land ruled by Arjun was far more developed than the one ruled by Duryodhana. Then, Duryodhana wanted the land back.
  2. Great painting of Belle and her cousin. What I noticed in the movie was, no one wanted to marry Belle's cousin in the end, so Belle supported her cousin's arranged marriage by giving her dowry. UK had arranged marriages at the time. The point to this is, just because someone's marriage is arranged, doesn't mean it's at stage blue, and it doesn't mean it stays at stage blue. Arranged marriages are more nuanced than that. Nowadays, most ppl are not familiar with it. When ppl hear about arranged marriages, they may just pass it off as stage blue marriage and don't give it a second thought as to what happens when it's not stage blue.
  3. The point that you said here is a very excellent point. Has he made friends and lived with any Muslim families and got to know them for real? What if Muslim families are raising kids in different parts of the world? How will the kids grow up and adjust to their parents and society? What if they're growing up in the US, UK, India, Pakistan, Dubai, Turkey, etc.? For anyone, you cannot just know them on the surface level. It takes a lot to know someone or even a few ppl deeply.

  5. Personally, I have not tried this because I don't like needles, but others have recommended it because it relieved them of their joint pains. If I have to do this because it's the easiest way for the relief of something, I would--just like I would try homeopathy to relieve my cough instead of going to the store and buy cough syrup.
  6. This song sounds very bluish: But, it also depends on your interpretation.
  7. Imo, someone who knows the truth(s), but find ways to express it through actions. Example.
  8. @Elisabeth To me, I feel that one of the major things missing is that many ppl in a stage orange society forgot to pass through stage blue. Stage blue has to do with setting boundaries. I totally agree that too much blue boundaries is unhealthy, but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about healthy boundaries. If you look at different religions and cultures across the world at the stage blue level, they all have their own types of boundaries. The thing is, which boundaries do you want to keep and not want to change in a relationship? This is something for the individual to contemplate on.
  9. Yes, but metaphorically speaking, I'm saying that the chess board is non-duality. (Representing.) We become the chess pieces when we are unaware and do battles in daily life.
  10. It's just like saying, "would you rather be the chess pieces or the chess board?" It's more peaceful to take the chessboard position. That's non-duality. The chess pieces are always doing battles.
  11. Life is pointless and non-duality, but there's still a phenomenon. And, you're the host. It's all you. Metaphorically, how will you "be of service to your guests?"
  12. And, the paradox to this is, pebbles are important. We rearrange them to teach ourselves and everyone else lessons before moving onto infinity. This is our own unique way of shedding light on something. We light up our own little path a bit before moving on. How are you going leave your pebbles behind for others to learn their lessons?
  13. It's quite possible that this is a good indication of something. Think about it. You may want to look into this more deeply. Is there anything else you like about this? Does it remind you of something else? Can you elaborate on this so that it could turn into a career of your interest instead of something you must do just to survive? Because, I love teaching. I love art too, and I love foreign languages. And so, I combined the three to make it a career, and then a life purpose.
  14. @Leo Gura For next week, if you can let us know resources and precautions to do business with other green (and above) companies, that would be an added plus. If we do LP/startup ourselves and try to sell our products ourselves, there will be a point where the business will scale out of our control. It's better to be prepared for that change. I mentioned something here already. An orange company like amazon could convert to green (in the long run) if enough ppl become aware of green when they start companies. For example, if their product is downloaded on amazon (like an app), it saves paper and cardboard. Most companies that scale are probably orange. That is what sells. In that case, you could plan carefully and make your LP/startup a combo of orange/green/yellow/turquoise to see if it works. Amazon is orange because it's capable of scaling up and down quickly, and we support that because we like convenience--just like fast food. That's why the result is cheap labor, just like cheap food--low quality. The goal is to find ways not to support that. Mastery (of a skill and the awareness of mastery) and teaching mastery (a skill of some kind) in your LP/startup will help you and others get out of the rat race.
  15. What about godaddy? Is it better to make a website on Google or godaddy?
