  1. Yeah, true. You have to do what you have to do. I'm only sharing my experience of how it happened to me. Later on, hopefully, in the near future, I will get to talk about what happened to me in an app or some product. I'll have to see how this goes. I'm not at that point yet. If I interconnect my LP with what happened to me in non-duality, I'm guessing I will reach the largest possible audience with the least misunderstanding. But, see, at this point, I'm only guessing what may happen because I haven't done it. If I did it already, then I could say for sure.
  2. Ok, sure. This is fine. I just want to say, and you don't have to take my word for it. It's definitely up to you to decide. From my experience, everything is interconnected. If you go step by step in finding your life purpose, awakenings will follow. Of course, both the life purpose and the awakenings are profound. Now, I'm not saying that this is true for everyone. It may not be. Sometimes, I wish that life purpose is taught first by all the teachers, instead of just saying the awakenings and talking about the enlightenment. I say this because from my experience a life purpose is more of a foundation for me. It's a stepping stone to enlightenment. If you do something for the world, you are also helping yourself. You know, teachers call it karma, and yes, everything is one.
  3. Yes, I do have a client already. To get more, let's see what happens if I organized a meetup group and gave a little speech. This is done along with my job.
  4. Do you think that becoming enlightened is also a step-by-step process? Just like anything else in life? Isn't that how it works? You got to go step by step in a well-rounded way? The way we go about doing this process is, of course, different.
  5. It certainly opened my eyes! But see, I bet it's only inspiring for me because I really tried to put it into real life, and it's working. It only works step by step, a little at a time. Like I said, no one does it in one try.
  6. I'm just saying that financial aspects are important. I'm not just saying it to you, but to everyone, and I also believe that your interests could be part of your life purpose as well as financial aspects (and non-duality), but one has to strategize along the way. I don't believe anyone makes it in one shot (one try).
  7. @Raptorsin7 you know, this thread does have a link to a book that I highly recommend. I try my best to implement the strategies in real life, especially what those diagrams really mean. To me, it's a very interesting process. I know it will not work unless I actually do that with my own interests.
  8. Wait, you're not getting this? You know, when we become senior citizens, when we grow old, if we make it to an old age, will we have our health? Some ppl, no matter how well they care for their health their whole lives, will not be healthy in their old age. The question is, are you prepared for this? Yes.
  9. @Raptorsin7 young age isn't the same as old age. Some ppl when they are old, they depend on their adult children. Not for money, but to watch over them. Sometimes they can't walk or need a lot of assistance. Living in a house is fine. Me, I'm just going to try my best and look at my financial situation too. I want to look at the big picture of a life purpose as much as possible. This includes every possible way I can.
  10. @Raptorsin7 well, it's your choice. You could choose to live however you want. There's no timing on it. Yeah, a minimalist lifestyle does seem attractive. Doesn't it? I do wonder what it is like to live in style in this: But, you know, you have to think of the pros and cons. For instance, if you make it to old age, then what? It's like you got to think about it from all angles as you go along.
  11. Oops! Sorry...I didn't see this question. I said something here about my work being in layers. First, you get a job in the profession that you like. Then, you try to make it self-employment. And, finally, you try to make a product out of it. Those are the three basic steps. Big steps! Of course, it's easier said than done. I wrote something here too about my struggles. But then, a while back I started a thread on LP, hoping more ppl will notice and take into consideration. Hey LP is important to me. Hope these links help. Of course, I'm still in the process. It's quite a long journey for me. You got to make good decisions and figure out.
  12. Critics are always there no matter what you start, but especially if you start talking about non-duality. Most ppl did not get their basic needs met yet. That's why whatever is being said about non-duality is unusual. Even if they did get their basic needs met, the fact that everyone is just living in a story that has already been said and done is outrageous. As I go along on my journey, the question for me right now is, "how will I reach out to others about this even though they can't relate?" Because, if they can't relate, they can't relate, period. However, there is always a way. Everyone does it differently. But, it's totally ok if they (the audience) don't accept or don't accept right away.
  13. Struggles can actually help you. There's a saying, "Challenges are opportunities." I learned this later in life of what it means on a deeper level. Struggles with education actually helped me. No, I didn't get into the university I wanted to. For me, there has always been a pressure from society and family to get into a "good ranking" university. Later, I became a teacher anyway. Why? I wanted to develop programs for fun casual learning. Having trouble in finding a job that I love? No problem. Education helped. Actually, I love doing canvas paintings. Paintings will not sell at all if you're not famous no matter how good you are. So, I'm doing bilingual education as well as bilingual paintings. I donated paintings to the school I worked for. My students said that they now have paintings that acted like cheat sheets on the wall, and now, they can't take exams in that room. Now, I'm going about trying to start a bilingual education business. It's an interesting experience. Everything is a process. Nothing comes to you right away. The process is putting things together like a puzzle in life. When you're the absolute, you created life itself. When you're in the form of an human ego, you still have to create with your "God" given gifts to make something to give this world. After all, what are you going to gift yourself?
  14. Yup, that's right. See, we still have to make a living. But, most of us don't want to settle for just any job. So, we go for our life purpose so we could enjoy doing what we love. Where do we give speeches like this? Business groups. Startup groups and self-employment groups (mom&pop businesses groups). I can't just give a speech on what I've experienced in terms of spirituality and non-duality. Most ppl will not go for that. They want their basic needs met. So, I give a speech on me doing bilingual education as a bilingual teacher. Everyone can relate to that. Later on, I will introduce spirituality/non-duality in two languages as part of my life purpose/business. But, not in the form of speech. I also do bilingual art. In fact, I love canvas painting. But, that is hard to sell and market, unless you become famous, high end, or both. I never gave a speech on non-duality. I know ppl in society in general can't relate to it. My life purpose is in layers: -Bilingual education being the foundation. -Bilingual art being in the middle. -Spirituality/non-duality at the top of the pyramid (Maslow's). Ppl in general normally understand the first two. They love the second one when I speak about it. Hey, tell you something. On Black Friday, I saw beautiful paintings of the Polar Express being sold at a mall. Most ppl are not buying them. They range from a few hundreds to a few thousands of dollars. It depends on how big the painting is too. Most ppl just bought the cheaper toys in the store.
  15. One thing that I want to address here is that human beings are social creatures. This is a given. We can't avoid this. Our survival and success and beyond that do depend on how we socialize and interact with others in society in real life, and no, they are not on the same spiral as we are. Do we even know what to present to them when we introduce ourselves (and give speeches) when meeting for the first time? We cannot just do it on social media. Social media is not the same as meeting someone face to face or in a group. This is what I'm beginning to see from my experience in doing my life purpose.
  16. @Raptorsin7 ok cool. I love life purpose topics, and love seeing ppl succeed in them. I'm learning a lot as I go through this journey. Life purpose is not just about posting profound video clips on YouTube or writing a book about your awakenings. It's about the combination of different/important aspects of life.
  17. I said in my post that a person would need to do both. Gandhi was a lawyer before he became Gandhi. If you want to do SEO, go for it. I'm saying that there is a way to incorporate life purpose and any profound wisdom that you've discovered along with what you do for money and survival.
  18. I seriously think you can be both. Think of society in general. At the current state, society in general is at orange. Yes, your life purpose will be above orange. But, the hard question is, what can you do so that society can still relate to what you're doing, but you can still blend in profound stuff in it that expresses love and will take society to the next level? The stuff that society can relate to will be your foundation. That's what you will do to survive as well as help society.
  19. None, actually. I think I interact with ppl mostly in orange and maybe green in my society. If you take into consideration Spiral Dynamics, Maslow's, and other things we've talked about, including your life purpose, then it isn't hard to go networking and interact with others there. In fact, the more you practice, the more opportunities you will get at being successful in life and passing on the message of non-duality and love through your life purpose. It isn't easy. It takes practice. Most ppl will have to cover their basic needs first (through their life purpose) before even passing on any profound messages. Yes, you can setup your life purpose in a way that covers your basic needs as well as passing on profound messages to the general public. Blues and below are really falling behind. It's not easy to work with a blue or even a stuck orange. Children of blues are really rebelling, but unfortunately, some are getting too stuck in orange and can't move pass that.
  20. You know what... In my life, I noticed, I also try to jump without taking it step by step and putting the pieces together. I'm not saying that my mistakes are as big as WeWork. In a startup, you run a huge risk if you just take a leap and make a decision like that. It's a matter of making the next decision without spending money from your own pockets. Try not to touch your pockets or other ppl's pockets when you decide to build a business. Your investors also have to think like this before they reach into their pockets.
  21. Oh ok...you are trying to reach the highest apple on the tree without a ladder? First, figure out how to get a ladder.
  22. Excellent! See, this goes for anything in life. The journey isn't just about dating/relationship. The journey isn't just about going to school and getting a good job, and that's it. The journey isn't even about non-duality only, and then end of story once you get it. The question is, how well can you put all of these together? I think you can't be doing one or the other. It's about being well-rounded. You got to ask yourself: what else is still missing in my life? The answer might not even be a relationship or dating. The answer might be somewhere else that leads to 'what you want now.' You can't reach the highest apple on the tree unless you find a way to get a ladder.
  23. Just a note here. There is nothing wrong with being a startup. Many ppl only get jobs their whole lives and never been a startup. They don't know what's a startup and just assume what is the definition. So, what I'm saying here is, just because you're a startup and you have your startup mixed in with your life purpose and non-duality, doesn't mean you're a "devil."
