Key Elements replied to remember's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@remember wow...all that you've said could be correct. I'm trying to put myself in her shoes. I don't know what she was doing for a living while she was working with investors. But, it seemed like none of them realized that it's going to take too much time and energy in the end to make such a product--it wasn't worth it. Both her and her partner even got sued with prison sentences? That's shocking. To me, something seems missing. Did she go to an IP lawyer before the investors? To me, it seems like she was smart enough to do this. However, had she worked as a doctor or some medical profession, she could have realized that this product wasn't worth it, and developed some other medical product. If she had doctors on her team, they did not realize? No realization of organic growth? All of them just jumped right in expecting growth and exit? -

Before these investors of big companies blindly trusted her, did they not turn to their IP lawyers or private investigators and real doctors to verify her startup, theranos? She dropped out of Stanford University? Was she studying medicine? She's not even a doctor. -
Life purpose + Startup + (Non-duality)

Key Elements replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@electroBeam well, too bad. If you don't like your startup and you consider it to be low conscious, then it's back to the drawing board. Why should I blindly and naively believe you that a startup can't be combined with a life purpose and non-duality? I don't have to make up my own narrow definition of what is a startup. -
Key Elements replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@electroBeam I didn't say low conscious startups. I said high conscious ones--the ones that could turn into your life purpose or combine with it. How far along are you on your life purpose? Haven't got to it yet? It would be nice not to work for a low conscious company, and instead work for yourself doing meaningful work. Anything could be a company--an app, a book, a tool, art, music, etc. I think you haven't started your life purpose yet, or haven't got any ideas on it yet. That's why you're saying such things. A company is a broad term. It doesn't have to be government, and it doesn't have to be corrupt. Let's not make up your own definition of what is a company. -

Yes! It's because it's asexual. Wait until it happens to you. Actually, when you embody back into your ego, you will think that giving birth to the entire universe is "hot." That's the ego's thinking / perspective. The absolute doesn’t have this "human thinking." When the whole thing is happening, you're just being and detached from everything. And, the whole thing is you. You gave birth to yourself. -
Key Elements replied to Peo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
When you become the absolute, you are just pure consciousness. That's it. You're not embodied in anything--no body, no external environment. Then, from all different directions, the Everythingness (Realm) comes out from You, the absolute. That's why I called it asexual reproduction. There is no male or female coming together to have a baby. -
Key Elements replied to Peo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The big picture... The absolute is asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction is a realm feature. -

I wonder if your life purpose is also a high conscious startup, would the non-duality message be passed on more effectively? Then, non-duality would be told in a more "logical" way related to everyday life. In fact, non-duality/enlightenment does relate to everyday life if it happens naturally (kensho). It's also profoundly meaningful if it has impacted your life in this way. Also, your life purpose/startup would have a scaling feature for financial security (self-employment--without being uprooted when you travel/migrate) and financial freedom (product for passive income)--"killing two birds with a stone." (I don't like this metaphor. I love birds.) Only one way to find out--just do it. A person would have to understand this part in order to prevent himself/herself from being jobless/homeless in a stage orange society, and also to become successful and create jobs and help others. How can you learn to help others when you can't even help yourself? Learning about startups in combination with Spiral Dynamics will also help an individual to see the big picture and adjust if a society regresses below orange, like if a war starts. What if everything in your possession gets wiped out? -

Have you made a piece of artwork? Did you ever draw something? If you did and showed someone, the both of you will only think that it's just a work of art. That's it. No one would consider that as real because it's "man-made" and "not moving." One day, you will become the real thing, and all this will only appear as a movie with you being an actor in it. Play your part well and you may become the real thing again. -
"Everyone is trying to find the right person, but no one is trying to be the right person." "True love isn't found. It's built." Do something different this time, instead of creating a profile and talking. Self-actualization isn't done by talking...

@Aeris that's why silence isn't empty. It's full of answers. -

Goes like: Truth (Pure consciousness, completely detached, completely being, no need of freewill, end of all suffering/no suffering) --> Everythingness (anything automatically coming out of it, all realms-each behaving in certain ways, some have more power of choice, some less, some closer to the Source-Truth) --> singularity (flow, transformation, black/white hole, Riding the Ox Backwards) --> ego (embodiment into your body, to love realm, as well as embodiment into the universe) _____ I was commenting on no freewill in this thread. -
Key Elements replied to Schahin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This reminds me of Shinzen Young explaining the Power of Realms Trap at 3:25. I like to call it, The Everythingness Trap. Why? Because during an awakening Everythingness comes out of God (Truth/pure consciousness/the deepest), not the other way around. Yes, you become Everythingness at this point. However, in our daily lives, we're used to seeing Everythingness, dealing with ppl and objects. We get choice confused with freewill because we're always making choices. It's hard to relate to pure consciousness that is completely detached from itself without freewill. Pure consciousness doesn't need to be behaving like any realms. It doesn't need a power of choice. It already "contains" Everythingness (illusion) in it. Pure consciousness is like the chess board. Why does it need to move like a chess piece? It doesn't need to move like the Queen piece (someone who has achieved nirvana). A chess board behaving like a Queen piece? It doesn't need to. That's why this quote is interesting: "Aim for the moon. If you miss, you'll be among the stars." The moon represents Truth. Stars represent Everythingness. Come to think of it, you actually look like stars when you become Everythingness. Oh, don't look at the finger. -
Key Elements replied to Schahin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Nope, we don't have freewill. I was trying to explain it in this thread that we have what's called "power of choice." But, that's a "power." It's not freewill. Another example is, a spirit who has achieved nirvana could go into any realms, any time, and could be one with God, but that's not freewill. It's a "power of choice." Remember, God is not a realm (illusion). We are. All things except God are realms. And, no, God doesn't have freewill. It's just pure consciousness. Freewill doesn't exist. -
Hey, I don't have to spoil it for you and others. You have to do your homework, research, and improve yourselves.

I'm just going to say this straight up. I don't know how else to say it. It's so easy and convenient to just go up to your smartphone or computer and make a dating profile somewhere. And then, if you get a girl (or guy), it doesn't work. Something really bad happens, like a fight, or whatever. Both of you break up. You might say to yourself, "I've wasted my time and energy on this person." And then, you go ahead and repeat what you're doing--thinking that it will work this time. It goes in circles, and for some, it goes in circles for a lifetime. For example, they're old and married but their spouse cheats on them, or something happens that ends the relationship. Instead of just getting up and following the crowd and going on Tinder or whatever site, why not sit down in a quiet place, clear your mind, and contemplate on what's really going on, and what do you really want out of life and in a relationship? Why rush into something and waste time on it? Why follow the crowd? Ok, when I did this fun experiment of contemplating, this is what I came up with. I live in an area where there is a 50% divorce rate. So, any couple who gets married, had a 50% chance of divorce in their lifetime. Now, I looked up some other country and saw that the divorce rate is 18/1000. So, out of 1000 married couples, 18 of them get a divorce. That means, if I really wanted a great relationship, I don't just go there and pick anyone off the streets. I get to know ppl first, like those who are already married. I would ask myself, "why such a low divorce rate?" What's really going on here? Work on yourself first. Have a purpose. How is it that you're going to support your spouse and family if you start one? Have you ever thought in this way? Have you ever thought you will be old one day? And, plastic surgery won't help. It's your choice. You don't have to go by what I said. If you want someone in another country (which I do recommend going this route), it takes work.

@Elisabeth you're welcome. If you could afford to leave and support yourself, then go ahead. You don't sound like you like your job. However, do start to mingle with other ppl where you will run into other opportunities. Currently, I have a beautiful website that I would like to advertise somewhere. I need to work on my video clips. If this works, it will put me in the 'S' (home business). However, I do want to network and mingle in an official startup group to see if I'm doing my life purpose/startup right, and to see if anyone could point to better career opportunities in different places. If you do this, make sure you have your resume (CV) and business cards ready. Only give them out if the other person can help you and can point you to the right opportunities. Don't just be demanding. Observe first.

@Elisabeth jobs with a boss always suck sooner or later. This reminds me of a time when I was in my university as a full-time student. I wanted to work in a job related to my studies. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to do. However, I remember one of my classmates saying that she recommended working in a "no-brainer" job while I'm studying full-time. Jobs that require lots of thinking will "stress you out" she said. Well, looks like she's right. Luckily, at that time, I found a job as a teacher's assistant part-time. I liked that job. However, try to make a transition to find a different job that you like better, and do become self-employed eventually. You got to really research and look into that. I think I made a link to you about it. The key word is: transition. Don't stay stuck at something you don't like. Transition: Recommended book into B and I with something you like.

@Inliytened1 thanks. Hey, he never did anything wrong by calling himself "enlightened." You are totally free to do whatever. But, if you say that you're enlightened, there could be a big miscommunication. I used Ox Herding Pics to communicate, and he didn't want to. And, when I say that the Ox Herding Pics does point to the awakening, ppl think that I'm putting myself on the high horse. Nope. There is no high horse. There is only your journey. Do you see the miscommunication? -

@Nahm I think using the word "clinging" is the wrong word. What you (or he) want to do with your life is up to you. What a person chooses to do is not called clinging. But, my point is, he did say that he is enlightened. I'm not going to say that in my life purpose or anywhere. Whether you're enlightened or not, is just a label, esp when you say it. It attracts the wrong attention. I'm just going to describe my awakening and how it relates to my life (in a creative/cunning way). I'm not even going to call it awakening. If anyone catches what I'm saying, the person can contact me or address it, and we could go further into it. Awakening to enlightenment isn't a contest of who's the best. There is no best. It's just you and your journey. -

Well, isn't it easier to have ppl look at your life through your life purpose than just talking about it? Words can only go so far. I'm not saying what winter knight did was wrong. I'm just saying, it's not the best approach, imo. And also, in my life purpose, I do want to take feedback from others, but in healthy ways. The two ppl have to genuinely realize whose awakening is deeper without bias. Only then can the learning begin. And, of course, no two paths in life are the same. So, the awakening will not be applied the same in each person's life. -
Key Elements replied to winterknight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's what life purpose is for. It's easier to show the whole thing than to tell it. So, back to work for me. It's not something spoken. It's something realized. The way you describe the song sounds like a person working his way up the Spiral Dynamics. -

Can he at least check it out? What is it? I mean, why not check it out? Why just overlook it? I thought he said that he's enlightened. If he is, he would have no problem understanding it. My question is, is he saying that he is enlightened without an awakening? I think later on (maybe) he assumed that I don't want enlightenment. I don't know what that supposed to mean. Afterwards, I just let the thread go. I just observed. But also, I had a hunch that this thread wouldn't work out very well. -

@Nahm hmm ok.. Standing here The old man said to me "Long before these crowded streets Here stood my dreaming tree" Below it he would sit For hours at a time Now, progress takes away What forever took to find And now, he's falling hard And feels the falling dark How he longs to be Beneath his dreaming tree Conquered fear to climb The moment froze in time When the girl who first he kissed Promised him she'd be his Remembered Mother's words There beneath the tree "No matter what the world You'll always be my baby" Mommy, come quick The dreaming tree has died The air is growing thick A fear he cannot hide The dreaming tree has died Oh, have you no pity? This thing I do I do not deny it All through this smile As crooked as danger I do not deny I know in my mind I would leave you now If I had the strength to I would leave you up To your own devices Will you not talk? Can you take pity? I don't ask for much But won't you speak, please? From the start She knew she had it made Easy up 'til then For sure she'd make the grade Adorers came in hordes To lay down in her way She gave it all she had But treasures slowly faded Now, she's falling hard She feels the fall of dark How did this fall apart? She drinks to fill the dark A smile of sweetest flowers Wilted so and soured Black tears stain the cheeks That once were so admired She thinks when she was small There on her father's knee How he had promised her "You'll always be my baby" "Daddy, come quick The dreaming tree has died I can't find my way home There is no place to hide The dreaming tree has died" Shake't, shake't, shake't, shake't Oh, if I had the strength to I would leave you up To your own devices Will you not talk? Can you take pity? I don't ask for much Won't you speak, please? Too much time Take me back Take me back Take me back Take me back Take me back Save me, please Take me back Looks like a person who had an awakening of some kind, but don't know how to describe it. Or, he wrote a song about it. But, most songs don't try to describe the awakening accurately. It doesn't sound like the deepest awakening. This person doesn't know what to do with the awakening, or how to apply it in life.
