  1. @Lorenzo Engel Check out the clip below...at 34:45 Leo started to discover the Zen term, the Ox's tail. What does this mean? Now...hold on...Ox's tail...are they really talking about an animal or something else? Check out Shinzen Young's clips on The Ox Herding Pics: https://youtu.be/x8aN9O73lg https://youtu.be/0PQonSiGkVE https://youtu.be/Ozca_5ifwQ0 The question is, why do they tell the story this way? Very ancient story. And, what is Riding the Ox Backwards really mean in the end according to an enlightenment experience? It's an interesting but discreet story. Anyone who has had an enlightenment experience will tell you that the experience is an outer body experience without the human mind & without the fictional ego, literally. The ego doesn't exist in an enlightenment experience. All you "feel" is peace (nothingness/everythingness = one with the universe) Whereas in the human mind, the ego is there because of "choice," or unawareness. But, if you would like to talk about it with someone, like a master or guru or whoever, there has to be an understanding between the two-no judging. How do we make use of the understanding of enlightenment and/or enlightenment experiences? Below is a clip of Leo talking about creating world peace. How do we discover our talents/gifts in order to contribute to this? Below are some more clips: (Note: I just want to make a little note here. All that I've said has nothing to do with religion. It's the meaning I'm trying to communicate. Riding the Ox Backwards is an extraordinary experience of time & space where one is facing backwards. )
  2. I think Ralph is doing a great job at being discreet in his enlightenment experiences. Anyone here with enlightenment experiences can learn a lot from Ralph in how to express it without being judged too much. Teal, on the other hand, is very bold, and then became kinda discreet later on. @Leo Gura You are also kinda discreet in some areas of your enlightenment clips. I like the discreetness. Looks adorable and those who gained experiences are able to learn from them.
  3. Learning about the ego through enlightenment experiences & simple understanding of enlightenment... Negative voice and emotion = fictional ego...the thought that helps you to solve problems, go for your life purpose, go for transendence morality, seek for enlightenment that is coming from the "everythingness" and "nothingness" is your true self. This is what "you" call being enlightened. In the end, "you" want to contribute to peace in this world. Having enlightenment experiences is different from being enlightened. Enlightenment experiences are outer body experiences or any wisdom that you get that gives out of the ordinary/meaningful info in life. It helps you understand your fictional ego.
  4. Both are true. One experience can help understand the other. Both mean peace. If there were no extraordinary experiences beyond time and space, no one would be talking about it, and it wouldn't be wide spread and much of a news. Even psychology has a topic called parapsychology. Ralph in the clip below says it in very subtle ways - kinda funny to me but I understand - not so easy to say it openly - cause people do get criticized and ridiculed for it...
  5. @jes Now jes...in order for someone to shed the right light on you in this area, they would have to have a great understanding of the "cultural traditions" and the "background." It's though. Without an understanding, it's likely that they'll shed the wrong light. I'm only speaking from experience. This quote holds very true: "The world is a great book of which they who never stir from home read only one page." -Augustine And, they'll have to know you very well. Careful now, dear.
  6. English / Mandarin If you like your career, you could turn it into a home business and finally a startup. I've been a teacher since the final year of my university. Most welcome..

Once you find someone that could tell you a lot more, and it's actually informative and not just make-believe, there are a lot of discoveries. I know one can see more than just the no-self (everythingness/nothingness). Even Leo mentioned Ox's tail (Zen terminology) in one of his enlightenment clips. In other words, what I'm trying to say here is...you want to talk to someone who will not shed the wrong light. Both trust and knowledge has to be there. Leo did say in one of his clips-I don't remember which one-maybe it's his Graves model clip-not to get caught up in debates. I do agree with him. We need a lot of time for our life purpose. Yes, of course, it can be the same. Mine happen to be the same. I'm a bilingual teacher (career at a school). I'm also working online, have my own website, and wrote my own book (my startup). I wish you the best on your journey. Much success and peace.
  8. @jes Hey jes..just wanted to tell you (and everyone) that once you discover your life purpose and continue to work on it and grow, it's hard to tell anyone about it. Just continue. Life purpose will bring you joy and peace. 2 things in life that are hard to communicate and express without getting criticized a lot...life purpose and enlightenment experiences. We got to communicate them in smart ways if we want to contribute to world peace and share our enlightenment experiences in smart ways in order to learn from them (and learn from others' enlightenment experiences, of course).
  9. @jes There is a book on it. (See image below.) However, the way I discovered it wasn't by reading the book (or other books on it). I travelled (from US to India). Then, I started networking here and learned a lot. Then, when I saw Leo's clip on Graves model (Spiral Dynamics), things fell into place for me for my life purpose. When I got to India, the book that inspired me the most was Guide to Investing by Robert Kiyosaki. I read this book first. From my experience, I would say reading books is knowledge, but in order for life purpose to come true, one has to take action (baby steps) toward the milestones in the life purpose. Take it one day at a time. What are we going to do today to contribute to this?
  10. Yes. If Leo makes such clips again, I wouldn't mind watching them for 2 hrs/clip. (Of course, I still go out there and do a bit of research here and there.)
  11. @jes @Leo Gura Just wanted to share with you and Leo something else too...the clip right below reminds me of a quote: "The world is a great book of which they who never stir from home read only one page." -Augustine I watched it several times too-too inspiring. I know this clip is at turquoise level of the Graves model as Leo describes his Graves model clip. Few examples of famous role models for this clip would be: Gandhi, Buddha, Jesus, Martin Luther King, President Lincoln (US), Aung San Suu Kyi (Myanmar), etc. That's the way they behaved in attempt to make world peace. Below is Leo's Graves model clip... Leo, I hope you make more clips like these--biggest ah-ha moments for me. Also, your enlightenment clips triggered lots of awesome things.
  12. @jes I want to add to what you said here. Yes, you are right. We can't just do things for ourselves - that would be "ego." Who do we do it for? Everyone else. How? Life purpose - finding your life's calling. What is our common mission in our life purpose before we transform and leave this world? Add to world peace by using our gifts/talents, right? After all, what could be less selfish and less ego?
  13. Here is one way to describe it...remember when we were children and sometimes we could handle our problems with ease? Remember those moments? Letting go of things were much easier. Here's something I found that I enjoyed reading... ________________________________________ When I was small ? • I'd put my arms in my shirt and told people I lost my arms • Would restart the video game whenever I knew I was going to lose • Had that one pen with four colors, and tried to push all the buttons at once • Waited behind a door to scare someone, then leaving because they're taking too long to come out. • Faked being asleep,so I could be carried to bed. • Used to think that the moon followed our car • Tried to balance the switch between On/Off • Watching two drops of rain roll down window and pretending it was a race • The only thing i had to take care of was a school bag. • Swallowed a fruit seed I was scared to death that a tree was going to grow in my tummy. • Closed the fridge extremely slowly to see when the lights went off. • Walked into a room,. forgot what you needed, Walked out, and then remember. Remember when we were kids and couldn't wait to grow up? and now we think why did we even grow up? Childhood Was The Best Part Of our Life i know u have a smile on ur face while reading the msg....if u want someone close to u smile too...go ahead..share the joyful memories ? Finally, I found the answer to the most asked question in my childhood .. What do you want to become when you grow up? A child again.? SCHOOL LIFE Big gang of friends.???????? Colorful uniform?????? Silly fight???????☺?? Friendly teachers???? Group photos....??????????? Combined study?☺?????????? Never ending P T periods??????⚾⚽??? Rocking annual day??????????? . Group discussion on anything n nothig???☺☺? So many hands in one lunch box????? Remarkable marks0⃣???☺ Terror report card????????? Self parents signature ✒✒〰? Justified mistakes...? Lovable tour???✨??????????????? School life.. Is just like heaven...??? Send to all ur besteess.. To make them smile and cry Note: Be at peace with yourself no matter what life throws at you.
  14. Oh..I forgot LOTS of things! After finishing off 5th grade, I went to my cousin's for the summer to build sandcastles, snowmen out of frozen icecream, so many things out of legos, read novels, play hide-n-seek in secret passage ways, learn a language in a casual / fun way, and do lots of drawings and crafts. Little did I know that that summer led to my life purpose. Now, I'm a foreign language teacher & teach in creative ways & now I'm doing all that in my startup. I have my first student online-just taking baby steps. According to Zen, and btw Leo did mention Zen in his enlightenment clips, these simple things that lead to major things in life are called "footprints." (I looked it up.) Little did I know back then, that that summer during my childhood was a major "footprint" in my life. I finally, one day, awoke and realized. Recommended: Don't squander your childhood! Look for clues ("footprints").
  15. I like counter-intuitive things. That's why I like what Leo said below in the clip. I know what counter-intuitive things, being enlightened, and having enlightenment experiences have in common. They all mean peace-whether or not the experience is "negative." Things aren't always as they seem, and one can always turn negatives into positives. Why not do this after realizing enlightenment/enlightenment experiences? Because the ego is a fiction anyway.
  16. Great advice, especially these few lines. The person must feel comfortable in revealing to the life coach and not feel judged. From this experience, the life coach could gain lots of experiences and uncover truths that could lead to paradigm shifts for all.
  17. @ajs Here's what I recommend. I'm just speaking from my experience... 1. Realize what you LOVE to do. What are your talents / gifts? Most love to develop these and align their studies / major according to these. 2. How will you give (offer) your gifts/talents/work to the world? When I tried to answer this question, things started falling into place--including landing an automatic career as a bilingual teacher at a school without a resume (CV). I still continue to build my website. 3. After getting in touch with your talents/gifts, I recommend Guide to Investing by Robert Kiyosaki and have a good look at it, esp the triangle diagram. (I posted it below, but the book goes into it in detail.) Now at this point, I'm aligning the triangle diagram (puzzle) with Leo's Graves model clip. Of course, you could decide to take Leo's course too. (Continue to research and expand in the heart and mind.)
  18. @jes Focus on things you really LOVE. Your talents and gifts are already there waiting for you to bring it out to the world. Go deep and match the things you love with your studies. Please take action on this. Moods just come and go.
  19. @jes You're welcome...Try to use your talents / gifts along with the triangle puzzle in the book. If you could do that, you'll get so many wow and ah-ha moments. Remember, this is long term. Then, match this up with Leo's Graves model clip and you'll go really deep with it.
  20. @jes What do you love to do? Ok, you listed writing and meditation. I love those too along with art-painting, drawing, and crafts. I also love other languages and exercising. We could start doing those now. We don't have to wait-just take pen and paper. Ok...here's a book that gave me more directions as to the next steps. It has a triangle puzzle that I'm trying to solve long term...Guide to Investing by Robert Kiyosaki. (Recently, I put the triangle along with Leo's Graves model clip and it's very profound.)
  21. People may look at failure as the opposite of success and as having an end, but no it's only a stepping stone. I rather look at it as a stepping stone toward success... They say... "Challenges are opportunities." And... "Aim for the moon, if you miss, you'll be among the stars."
