  1. These things do inspire me to work on my life purpose with the focus on the nothingness / everythingness (transient morality). Then, I can't think of a better mission in life than to align the life purpose with world peace. Is it possible that these things trigger these kinds of experiences with a combo of meditation / contemplation / self-inquiry? Time to find out. So awesome...
  2. @Juan Cruz Giusto Whoa cool...the thing to do is keep asking from time to time and focus on life purpose. This will probably get you far.
  3. @Leo Gura So, train your mind to ignore the dogmas. You don't have to react to the dogmas. Then, it would be of great benefit. Or, go to advanced teachers/gurus/friends whom you trust and are into this and learn from them. Then, you could put it all together, and it will make sense. In other words, develop the mind enough to find the proper info and meet proper friends/teachers. For those you trust, you don't have to take whatever they say word for word. To me, most things (esp on the Internet) are not presented correctly. It's like when I approach someone else, they tell me something completely different. The truth is just exaggerated and stretched out into something weird. I say to myself, "Wait a minute, this is NOT what I learned."
  4. Just be yourself and try your best. Learn how to feel comfortable with yourself and accept that. No need to keep thinking about gender identities and what others think about your gender.
  5. @Leo Gura You know, what I'm presenting here is a bit of my shadow work. Personally, I don't want to end up in the wrong maya (illusion), if there is an afterlife. This is all I'm trying to say here. This maya that we're experiencing now is "magical," like you said in one of you clips. And yes, I agree when you keep saying to go for absolute truth and shift your mind to it. This is always the best when done everyday and all the time. You called this transient morality. Don't forget that karma (actions) counts. You did talk about karma too. What we do in this life counts.
  6. It happened over time. I just think of it as a lesson. Just think of them as birds. Birds are there for a reason. If a seagull snatched the hotdog you were eating out of your hand, would you judge that? The point is to continue doing your life purpose. Sooner or later, you're going to become a role model having some positive ripple effect. (Just look at Martin Luther King.) But, you'll be detached from all that.
  7. @Leo Gura Yeah, you're right. I'm not really getting answers here or can't share experiences. I'm not attached to any of this. I just work mainly on my life purpose. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking, there has to be a reason for all this. This could only be discussed among friends with similar experiences once in a while or with zen masters & gurus.
  8. @Leo Gura Ok cool...well...nice trip description too... ... Ox's tail looks like the black part of ying yang symbol swirling by. Or, a small part of an Ox's tail swinging back and forth, like a pendulum. Saw it twice. And, I already took an effort to describe to you my Riding the Ox Backwards. And, all this was done without psychedelics. It can't be done with psychedelics, of course not. @Leo Gura What's the reason for Ox's tail to Riding the Ox Backwards? Must be a good reason for it. You mentioned it. Shinzen Young mentioned it. This is the reason why I'm in your forum too. I appreciate all your enlightenment clips and a few other clips. It did help me grow and realize myself.
  9. @Leo Gura Yes, I do switch my mind to the absolute nothingness. That's what i mean by being detached with "there is no you." That is always the best. Yes, for the most part, I totally agree. Btw, what was that shroom trip for? What were you trying to get a hint of experiencing? Divine love?
  10. @Leo Gura I agree with you on the part of "there is no you," and to be detached. This makes living easy and the best. But, after we "die," there is no "you." That's it? Just "nirvana" and peace? That would be great though, but it sounds too simple. How can we guarantee that? So, yes, not only meditation, contemplation, and self-inquiry, but also life purpose (with world peace). Karma counts. Everything is interconnected. Sometimes when I have free time, I would look around for info. Afterlives sounds interesting. I don't focus on that. Peace of mind and life purpose is usually what I do.
  11. @JevinR You provided great info..Thanks. I appreciate it. It's something different. But you know..I also noticed something else. I thought about this. If people could judge a few charts, graphs, and maps that you provided on a forum, then, in real life, they could judge other things too without looking deeper into it. Like, for example, other people's wedding dresses. That could, by mistake, by big mistake, be seen as "cult." Not everyone gets married in a white gown and tux. Although, it's not easy for people to read when the word "satan" is there. The whole thing needs to be translated. It's like a different language.
  12. Again Leo, you're assuming. How do you know that I have not experienced the infinite consciousness? Enlightenment experiences like these are very personal. Unless I say it...ok, here goes... I was one and a half. I saw / am the nothingness. How does this "feel?" Divine love and peace, like you described in your shroom trip when you were in the bathroom. Words can't even describe this properly. (Now comes 'coral stage.') This isn't the end of the story. Then, there was "blackness," the blackness of space. Then, a lot of sparks were all around me--tons of them--my stars. Then, I started condensing, leaving behind my stars, and was stretched out as if pulled through a blackhole. I was facing backwards when I was pulled through the blackhole. Then, I entered my body with massive, massive light. I saw it from a third person perspective. When I awoke, I was jolted up from my bed. I said, "Oh, I'm (my name) again!" Then, I went to the living room to play with my toys. That 'divine love' that you were describing on your trip didn't last long on me. If it happened naturally, it won't last long. That's why I didn't do the things that you did in your bathroom. The transition from no-self to earth realm is much better because it is done naturally. Anyway, my whole life, I just passed this off as a dream--I thought it was just a nice dream--until I met my friend. I described my "dream" to her. She decided to do a computerized Jyotish on me. She's an expert on this. Jyotish is Indian astrology based on the stars and planets. Then, one of the result was, she saw that the experience I had when I was 1 yrs old was recorded on my results. I was surprised. We didn't even call what happened to me an 'enlightenment experience.' Then Leo, I ran into your clips. You were talking about Ox's tail in one of them. Because of your info, I went to Shinzen Young's clips and I saw Riding the Ox Backwards. Yes, I was facing backwards in my experience. All this is cool and awesome, but what's the point to this whole thing? Number 1: Had I called my friend a "cult," "woo-woo," or a "religious whatever freak," she would have not been my friend and would not even bother doing Jyotish on me. It's complex. She's not just someone like you who keeps saying, "Oh, there's just the nothingness / everythingness." Why even bother to call someone weird names if you know she's a nice person? Number 2: What's the point of enlightenment experiences? Peace-cause that's what you experience at an extreme level. What to do here on earth? Align your life purpose with world peace. I can't think of a better mission / ripple effect. Number 3: This phenomenon we call "earth realm of awareness" based on nothingness/everythingness is weird enough to the mainstream. My point is, how do you know that after we die, we are not going to be some other phenomenon or dimension, even though we are aware that we are nothingness / everythingness? I'm not convinced that earth is the only dimension / phenomenon when there has been so many reports of people seeing their "dead" loved ones (including myself, I have witnessed). It's all in the branch of psychology called parapsychology. ....... Anyway, this is all great. The point is, be detached and do good in this world-world peace. Remember Leo, you made a world peace clip, Spiral Dynamics clip (Graves model ), and Radical Open-mindedness clip. Don't go against your words. Practice what you preach.
  13. I just said in my above statement that the coral stage is still "maya" and "illusion." Psychologists put it like that for a reason. I'm not talking about no-self here. I'm talking about coral stage that's presented in the Graves model. So, no I'm not trying to conceptualize. Don't assume. I know that the map is not the territory. There are two different things I said there. I know that "there is no you," "no-ego," "no-self," "Riding the Ox Backwards," "nothingness/everythingness," etc, etc...This is talked about a lot in this forum and by you, and I couldn't agree more. That's not my point though. What if after "death," there is another "maya," "illusion," and "there is no you stage." Called stage coral in Graves model? Have you ever considered that as a possibility and as a direct experience of it? Check out parapsychology. It has to do with near death experiences and afterlives. It's your choice if you want to look into this or not. You did make a clip on Radical Open-mindedness. Why should we label something as "religion" or "cult" without checking them out with radical open-mindedness, but with a critical mind?
  14. @Leo Gura I noticed that it's not easy to show the following quote below. If a person does a startup on YouTube, one cannot just teach it or coach it. Looks like the startup will become more successful if different skill sets are there. I'm talking about a startup starting at stage orange and ending up in turquoise or above. For example, Shaolin monks have the skill set of teaching kung fu, not just coaching. Or, some have the skill set of singing, art, or even a technical skill. Some monks and gurus did start hospitals or invent a natural product, like a toothpaste. You may want to consider this for actualized.org. It's your choice--whatever works as a different skill set. I'm saying this because a different skill set looks like it fits into the saying, "Actions speak louder than words." Also, I can't think of a better mission we all can align our life purpose with than world peace. You do have a world peace clip. Enlightenment means we ARE the peace. So, if you look at the behaviour of role models such as Martin Luther King, there is the behaviour of, "Actions speak louder than words." Another thing Leo...where's stage coral? Parapsychology and stuff like that?
  15. @Leo Gura I want to add... Does psychedelics affect karma? This is only a simple but profound / radical question. Of course, it's not for anyone mainstream. Everything talked about in enlightenment will be radical. I think it's not an easy question to answer. Everything is interconnected. It's not a right and wrong question. I paired this question with your no free will clip...what came to my mind was...Some people who have enlightenment experiences or who are very much into enlightenment say to me...just try your best and everything will come to you at the right time.
  16. @Leo Gura Leo...I think he's not talking about cults and religions. In your enlightenment clips, you mentioned Ox's tail according to Zen. Ok...so there's Ox's tail to Riding the Ox Backwards. That is seeing the no-self. However, you mentioned in your Graves model clip that you cannot skip stages. What about stage coral? Parapsychology? That's where all that's mentioned above fits in, right? The no-self is not in stage coral. It's beyond that. You can't put a box around that and give it a name like coral stage. What is stage coral, Leo? You did mention that the mind and body problem has already been solved long ago. You said that once you hit stage yellow, you will become aware of all the other stages. You did put yourself in stage yellow. (Btw, even Riding the Ox Backwards has coral stage attributes to it.) I'm trying my best to describe it to you directly. Stage coral is still "maya," "the illusion," but you still cannot skip that stage. @Leo Gura I could have labeled 'Ox's tail,' the term that you used in your clip as a "cult" or "religion," but fortunately, I did not. Had I done that, I would have never discovered myself as an indigo (happened during childhood) - since I passed off my direct experience as a dream my whole life - cause I didn't know what it was. Now, I know what you're talking about when you say fictional ego and all that. And now, I will boldly tell you that there's a lot more to it. I said it according to what you presented in your enlightenment clips and your Graves model clip. Take this into consideration.
  17. I like how you said that you want to hear the cold hard truth. For me, when any close relationship becomes negative, I just go to my room and work on my life purpose. Sometimes silence and being detached is golden. One does not need to have control over everything all the time. Answers do come automatically if one does enough self-inquiry. One very important thing I noticed in this life is that a 3rd party cannot interfere in a relationship. In other words, no one can tell you what you can and cannot do and make the decision for you. I think nothing can succeed without some level of detachment. A deeper thing to focus on is your life purpose. Here's Leo's clip on detachment... You don't have to quit the relationship. I rather not. Everyone has the potential of growing and discovering themselves. However, we don't have time to waste on petty little arguments. We have a life mission to fulfill. In the clip below, the petty little arguments are the cups, not the coffee.
  18. Below is one of the best quotes I've read... (Family members / others may or may not understand this one - depends on their level. Some may only understand it when they see your actions. Anyway, I'm just presenting techniques that has to do with your actions. It's not spoken. 'Actions speak louder than words.')
  19. @quantum Below are the two quotes that I have in wood carvings. I got them when my children were younger. However, if you love spiritual quotes or deeper quotes, they may be misunderstood by family members/others. Personally, I do love spirituality. I'm not focused on the quotes now. I'm focused on the paintings.
  20. @quantum Those powerful quotes hanging on your wall are an excellent idea. Believe it or not, I also have quotes in different forms! Two of them are professionally carved out of wood, and I put them behind sliding glass as show pieces. There are quotes that are refrigerator magnets made of wood carvings too. You may want to try those if you want since everyone goes to their fridge. ☺ If you can't find them in stores, then try online. At the same time, work on your life purpose. It's too bad some parents or family members don't even appreciate this. They only look for big results. Sometimes when you have reached a milestone, it surprises some family members who are more open-minded. However, it's ok to keep trying--not just for the results, but you're going to discover and uncover yourself. Find something you love and enjoy the moment. I try to keep this in mind when I do what I like.
