  1. Average can only be measured on a scale. I believe one fairly reasonable characterization, is that an average person has fewer moments of genius than a genius does. And conversely many more than an average right-winger.
  2. Well, that's harsh. Where do you ride the spectrum of normal and integrated? You can ignore the question, I'm just being difficult. I quite enjoy that.
  3. @Buck Edwards I think I know...traumatic childhood. That puts a major kabonk on self-esteem. Self-esteem ideally lies on the inside not outside.
  4. @NoSelfSelf lol...I kinda' know what you mean...you meany...I am straight by the way.
  5. Women marry nice guys, just like guys that are 'serious' look for women that emote a maternal ambiance. Women have sex with assholes. It happens below the belt in both sexes and is driven by instinct. The failure of relationships is mostly caused by women's existential issues and fairy tales. A husband/wife pair of sociologists researched a decades long study that concluded that women were essentially living in fairy tale land and tweren't ever to emerge. Men are prone to go down Alice's rabbit hole.
  6. Just my opinion of course, but Aristotle was an asshole. I believe my original ideas on that are quite elevated.
  7. Wow, that is a dangerous thing to believe. Women manifest their shadows in less obvious ways than men. Here is an analogy I used in the past: Rape and murder: Women are less likely to rape because it takes strength and a working model to derive any benefit. Many women will kill for money, possessions, envy, etc. It is the biological separation of needs between males and females. And women are much more adept at psychological manipulation in the average case because of social conditioning. The contexts are different in the way the sexes do it. Spend a little time with your shadow and you will begin to recognize the existing differences.
  8. loved and lost man...well, lost mostly, cannot really speak to love. 😁
  9. you know I actually had a lady say that to me...She ended up being the most horrific relationship I have ever been in. I soon after married someone else and she had the nerve to say, why, we were doing so well. uh, yeah right. That's my life story.
  10. Yes, we all know that...Another anti-American European, I would surmise? Times change and so does the left. The right is still stuck in 300 B.C.
  11. I was going to suggest that it takes time to integrate information. The more dense it is, the more likely there will be confusion and then clarity. Not knowing what to believe is not unhealthy. Things can be close while at the same time poles apart. In fact, that seems to be kind of the way it works.
  12. @puporing Christians that are fixated on the Jewish bible are prone to literal interpretation. Many of them have not been introduced to the Bible that Jesus inspired. It is an interesting phenomenon.
  13. @Thought Art Ken Wilber is my man...most people do not even want to try to wrap their heads around his philosophical underpinnings. As far as I was concerned, he nailed it, but not to the cross, of course.
  14. for sure that is true, but why altered consciousness (stepping outside of the lines) may be a stilted mechanism is still valid.
  15. lol, Now that is a proper depiction of all of my reality.
  16. Putin is a madman that has no basis for his social constructions.
  17. yup, words from Jesus' mouth...when he had one, mouth that is, he uses cosmic quantum communication now. Just attune the antenna.
  18. I have been doing this for most of my life...perhaps I started a little early but I was not asked if I wanted to do it. Admittedly, I have failed miserably.
  19. Some theologians would say the reality you just stated is evidence of a miracle. Construct is not an appropriate appellation for the ineffable. Ineffable definition: too great or extreme to be expressed or described in words. Good old AI, it seems Grammarly thinks it needs some help: Despite being human, I still have faith! A social construct is a concept or idea that is created and accepted by a society, and is not based on a natural or innate source. Social constructs are a result of human interaction and agreement, and are contrasted with natural kinds, which exist independently of human beliefs or behavior.
