My bad. Never the less it's still an issue and trans women should not compete with women. -

I don't think you get it. You can be trans all you want, just don't promote this shit in schools, and have kids transition when they are 7 year old, have them take puberty blockers, etc. Leave the women sports and don't compete with them , because as a biological male you have a clear advantage (see boxing in France). People also don't want this shit promoted in olympics, song festivals (see euro vision), etc. This is what I mean by being "shoved down our throats", a lot of people who even support your cause have gotten tired of it. Understand? -

I am not an expert on spiral dynamics, but I can clearly see that yellow can see both perspectives of blue/orange, and also green, plus their limitations. You cannot tell me that every single person who belongs to yellow would actually side with green and some of the talking points that were pointed out here. Not to mention that not all green people would even be in agreement here. Please red again my exchange with LEO to understand the dangers of the "construction" narrative. -

It can be argued that yellow can easily be in agreement with blue/orange on this one (but for different reasons), given that it can see how impractical and counter-intuitive it would be to tell people that male/female is just a construct. -

Actually, he almost never shows empathy and his behavior/attitude actually shows totally otherwise. A person who displays so frequently so much arrogance/ego has a low amount of empathy to begin with. -

If this was true, there wouldn't be such a huge backlash. Pretending that this ideology is not being pushed downs people's throats is just plain dishonest. And again, you make it sound like only the people on the right have an issue with it, which cannot be further from the truth. There are many more than you think who are on the left, who do not agree with these woke ideas. -

Very well said, couldn't have said it any better! -

Your ideas are catered to a very niche audience, not to mention that you became even more niche over the last few years (many of us are not into your alien consciousness/solipsism). Your ideas will not be relatable to 99% of people, and you will sound like Nahm to them, so what are you really going to accomplish? Knowledge without wisdom is very dangerous, and you well know it. I don't think that pushing the narrative that male/female are just constructs to masses is a good idea, and it will not in any way improve the life for the majority. -
questionreality replied to Majed's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
People who claim that it is just a construct lack wisdom, and responsibility when it comes to this matter imo. If what you call "male" and "female" are just constructs, then so is a "you", "mother", "father" , "friends", "family", and this entire thing that you call life/universe. How do you see the society functioning, and living in practical sense, if you would totally deconstruct everything? It may make sense to you to mentally theorize, mentally masturbate, and philosophize on these matters on a forum - but in real life this leads to a lot of problems, and ultimately to a huge dysfunction. @Leo Gura You gave shit to Nahm for being too "insane" in his rhetoric, of conflating absolute vs relative domains and how he even in your communication with you wrote that there is no "you". Now try to imagine how your rhetoric of it's just a construct, etc would sound like to many other people? Can you see some similarities in these scenarios? -

From where did you get how to count? From where did you learn what is water, what is air, what is a tree, etc? -

Why do you think that only conservatives disagree with this idea (or nonsense)? There are many of us who are liberals, but who are not woke, who think this is an issue of common sense. ignoring biology and the basic fundamentals, and unable to answer a question what is a woman, is just insane. If you want to identity yourself as a woman when you are not, that's cool. But don't expect others to accept your definition of what is a woman and treat you as a woman. And don't push this shit onto our kids. Instead of focusing on more important things, people are having trouble answering a question what is a woman? If you want to call it just a "construct", then why just stop there? Your whole life is a construct in that regard - but how is that going to do you or society any good in practical sense? I think what you fail to understand, is that your metaphysical contemplations are only good in theory, in practical sense they have no benefit and can be even dangerous. -

@Gidiot Based on what you posted here, it is clear that you have no idea what racism actually is. The deeper problem, is that you assume first that Trump is a racist in your mind and then try to find evidence to support your case. Don't be surprised when some people vote for Trump, just because they protest against people like you and their ideology. -
questionreality replied to tlowedajuicemayne's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
So you came up with your own definition of what is "racist" and you expect everyone to accept your definition? What you can see for your self is purely subjective and is also heavily influenced by ideas which were put to you by other people. The problem is that you are obsessed with race, and see race/racism issue in everything. This is the problem of the woke left that even many liberals (I consider myself one) are against. Dictionary definitions have actually a lot of worth, otherwise how can you expect to have a consensus? You actually have no idea what racism means and are throwing this term around very loosely. Thanks to people like you, the word loses it's power completely. -

I don't know this for sure, that was my guess as to what he meant. If it's backed up by data, I don't see how it can be racist? This happens in every country. Go to Spain for example and you will see that some type of jobs usually Asians take, some Indians take, etc. What does this have to do with being racist? -
There is no need to overcomplicate such simple and common sense things. If the sex is consensual and you are honest with your intentions, then it's all good. As long as you both feel good and are enjoying yourself, then there is no issue.

Black jobs are the jobs that a large percentage of black people take - such as those that don't require high qualifications for example. In this case, he means that the immigrants are providing competition and taking away their jobs. What is so hard to understand about that? -

@Leo Gura I am still waiting for your full response to show me examples of why you think Trump is actually racist, - given that you said they are on public record. This one video of what happened 20 years ago is not really enough and you know it. I don't think it's good to throw such terms lightly, because then it totally loses it's meaning. -
questionreality replied to tlowedajuicemayne's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
I don't think you understand what racism is and just throw that term loosely around because you want to. Racism is defined as: Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized. If saying an N word 20 years ago makes a person even today racist, then a lot of people would fall into that category, which you normally don't call racist, such as Joe Rogan. The traits that you listed are common traits not just person who is a racist, but a lot of other things as well. So far, you didn't bring actual examples as to what makes Trump racist. -

Gaslighting is defined as manipulating someone into questioning their own perception of reality. I did not do that, nor ever want to do that. I apologize for my offensive rhetoric of "woke leftist", just tired of everyone bringing up the race/racist card. With that said, I would genuinely like for you to show me more instances of what makes him racist - because like I said, not even a bit I ever considered him to be racist - he quite frequently talks to black people on podcasts, public places, etc and I never got the sense that he somehow has prejudice against them. Joe Rogan not long ago also was almost cancelled for saying a n word long time ago on some podcast, but he was too big/popular to be cancelled. And there were many people who called out the absurdity of it. How is this any different? -

The people that voted for him in 2016 would say otherwise. If you didn't vote for him, then it doesn't really matter what you think, what matters is what the people who voted for him think. -
questionreality replied to tlowedajuicemayne's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
So to you he is a racist, just because 20 years ago he said a n word on set? This is all the evidence that you have? I didn't think that you were one of the woke leftists, but now I am starting to think otherwise. They tend to do exactly this - go back 20 years, find 1 thing and then put a label + cancel people. I have not heard him say anything, nor any behavior in the last 10 years that would indicate he is anywhere close to a racist. Is this really all you got? -
questionreality replied to tlowedajuicemayne's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Understood. On a side not, I have not actually seen any evidence that Trump is actually racist - for some reason leftists always try to bring up the race card, and always make it about the race. If they do it this time - they will lose the election and vice versa (if Trump's campaign somehow will bring up Kamala's background). People are tired of that shit. I was going to say fair enough until I read the last sentence. You were actually wrong about human psychology and other things - and here you are trying to say that Americans were stupider that you thought, which is not a genuine, nor honest admission of being wrong. -

Interesting take, but he actually delivered a lot of the things that he promised during his presidency to his followers- so to say that he delivers nothing to his followers is not correct. -
questionreality replied to tlowedajuicemayne's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Pretty much every politician overpromises and Trump actually fulfilled a lot of his promises during his last 4 years of presidency -

We are talking here about the possible use of dog whistle rhetoric, not just any con artistry - which requires playing chess, not checkers. And you pretty recently mentioned that Trump is not playing chess like Putin (that he is dumb), thus if he gets elected you won't be totally fucked. So this kind of contradicts your previous statement, understand? The problem here is when it's convenient for you, you say that trump is dumb and when it's not, you don't think that he is dumb. Same goes with your predictions - You said Trump has 0 chance of ever being president again few years ago and now you claim that you were not wrong, it's just circumstances have changed, because it's convenient for you to do so.
