  1. If one truly understands Gandhi's consciousness and his political acumen, tears will naturally flow down with what's possible for a human. unfortunately, we no longer understand such a high level of consciousness in politics.
  2. What makes you assume this position on Gandhi?
  3. Gandhi chose the path of truth at the risk of his own death, and he paid for it in the end. The situation at the time of Gandhi was much worse. We don't have public/politicians committed to higher truth.
  4. Whatever you are imagining also exists
  5. No Consciousness = Death, AND Deep Sleep (not =) Death, hence Deep Sleep (not =) No Consciousness
  6. Because when I wake up, I am aware that I slept for 6 hours and didn't die?
  7. Witness/Consciousness/Existence/Self/God
  8. Yes, there are no thoughts and attachments in deep sleep, but that doesn't mean there's no experience, it's the experience of absence/void.
  9. Self = Consciousness (The existence) self = ego/snake/doesn't exist); it only appears to exist as real.
  10. No, my friend, There's Consciousness (God/Supreme/Witness/Rope) and there's reflected consciousness (self/ego/snake), the one who is trying to get liberated. The reflected consciousness is the snake, which is not there at all, its only the rope all the time. the snake is only an appearance. its an illusion, after all. No amount of water in the mirage can quench your thirst because there was never any water.
  11. Try conscious breathing, my friend! Consider getting back to worldly things and relationships and working for a while, despite the pull.
  12. The self is an illusion and is one of the last and highest spiritual teachings (like non-duality). The ancient sages in India used to reject disciples (princes and kings at that time) and ask them to spend years purifying their minds through meditation, devotion, karma, etc. before they considered them ready for the last teachings.
  13. What would practically change about your life once you "see" the truth?
  14. It's all about the journey, my friend, always.
  15. Orwell calls this Doublethink.
