Race disconnected us, religion separated us, and politics divided us. Yet, in our shared humanity, there lies the potential for unity, if only we could see beyond the walls we’ve built.

Many people who oppose abortion believe in God, and these religious fanatics have been taught not to question God but simply to follow orders without any logic behind them. Religious texts will serve as tools of control, making followers unquestioning slaves unable to think more openly. -

It is not considered murder by society, but this is a subjective issue, and everyone has their own perspective on morality and ethics. -

Such an incredibly good and important comment you made. -

No, if the woman is not allowed to have an abortion, the risks could lead to her death. -

I’m not entirely sure, but it will lead to very harmful effects on the woman’s health. -

I agree. -

For me, the focus should remain on whether the being has reached a stage where it can experience anything, such as pain, awareness, or emotions. Until that point I’d view it as potential life but not yet an individual with a conscious experience that would make “abortion” ethically problematic. -

It needs to be much more fairly balanced, but I believe the bias within us is what ultimately throws off that balance. -

👏I keep hearing about the consequences for the body, but never about those beyond that. It’s so irresponsible not to consider the societal consequences for the child if it’s born. This needs much more attention. It’s a very narrow perspective to believe a mother should be forced to give birth against her will. -

I agree that one should not abuse sex just to have an abortion later. Abortion should be legal, but I wish it could be reduced, not eliminated. -

Your point about the potential of embryos is valid, but the issue isn’t just about potential life. It’s about the rights of the woman carrying the pregnancy. If a woman doesn’t feel ready or able to continue the pregnancy, she should have the right to choose an abortion, just as she should have the right to make other decisions about her body. We need to respect her autonomy to make the best decision for her health and future. -

According to his logic, masturbating is taking a human life. Just because things have potential doesn’t mean they need to be respected or seen as something valuable. I am grateful that you are a reasonable person who can think beyond what those who are against abortion can. -

It doesn’t matter whether the fetus is considered a seed or not. The real issue is that it’s the woman’s body that has to carry it, and she will have to go through a lot of physical pain. For this reason, she has the right to continue with the pain or end it, for health reasons. -

I don’t believe that women choose to have an abortion simply because giving birth is painful. There are many reasons behind the decision, but I think it often comes down to the fact that some young women are tempted by the thrill of sex and engage in it frequently without fully considering the consequences. People tend to act on impulse, driven by immediate desires, even when they know it could lead to problems later. They might not be able to see the long-term impact and often feel unsure about their ability to care for a child, which is why abortion becomes the choice for many. This version aims to sound more fluid and address your point clearly. Let me know if you’d like further adjustments! -

It’s not accurate to say that it’s just a single issue or that it ends with consequences. The situation is far more complex. -

Abortion is not murder by definition because a fetus is not legally considered a person in many places. -

Killing bacteria is not considered murder because bacteria are not sentient beings. They don’t have awareness or the ability to feel pain. Similarly, a group of cells in early pregnancy is not a person with consciousness or the capacity to experience life and therefore terminating a pregnancy at this stage is not the same as taking a life. -

People who support abortion care about respecting the individual’s choice and autonomy, rather than focusing solely on the potential for life. First and foremost, we must respect the woman’s decision because it is she who endures the physical and emotional experience. Few women want to go through such a painful experience, even if some consider pregnancy a gift from God, for those who choose to believe that. -

The fetus does not feel intense pain the way a woman does. A woman has the right to make the decision because it is her body that endures the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy. -
