  1. Gender has been a social construct for a long time, and it works for a lot of people. But I also think that just because something has been the norm for so long doesn’t mean it’s the best way for everyone. Gender roles, while functional for many, can limit people’s ability to express themselves and create unnecessary pressures. When it comes to issues like bathrooms or sports, I agree that we need practical solutions that respect everyone’s rights, but we can’t ignore the fact that some people feel boxed in by traditional gender norms. It’s not about taking away from those who are comfortable in their gender, but making room for others to exist authentically. As for societal change, it’s not about forcing anyone to change or feel uncomfortable. It’s about creating space where people who don’t fit into the traditional gender categories don’t feel invisible or invalid. Just like how we’ve gradually become more accepting of different sexual orientations, we can evolve in our understanding of gender too. It doesn’t need to be a “culture war” it’s more about creating a society where everyone can just be themselves.
  2. Show through logic that I am the unknown.
  3. That doesn’t make things any better.
  4. There are no solid reasons to believe in solipsism as an absolute, yet there are also no good reasons to believe that solipsism isn’t absolute. Existence is so deeply confusing that we will never get close to the Absolute, not through logic, nor any other tool we possess. Existence can go to hell for not giving us some hidden weapon to understand the Absolute. Not even in death will we understand, this whole stream of life seems like an eternal confusion designed to push us away from the truth.
  5. But it doesn’t give me peace, and it shouldn’t give anyone else either. The ego craves answers, not just to experience the present moment. I can’t enjoy the present because I’m afraid of the unknown, and the thought that we humans should not question or challenge things, but merely go with the flow, is a terrifying thought.
  6. I would love to hear more about your logic behind this, or rather, why you believe this or have experienced it. Could you elaborate further on your reasoning and how you came to this conclusion?
  7. I see your point, but I think knowledge of the present moment actually grounds us. Being aware of what’s happening right now, rather than constantly chasing what we don’t know, can bring a kind of peace. Knowing what’s true in the moment connects us to everything around us.
  8. For he will torture me with fire and brimstone after my ego dies.
  9. I don’t think it’s possible to fully grasp the unknown simply by becoming aware of it. The idea that all knowledge already exists, and it only becomes known when we are conscious of it, is an interesting one. However, I still don’t believe it’s feasible to know or understand everything, especially something as vast as being all-knowing or divine. The concept of being God is deeply tied to belief, and even if knowledge exists, it might not be something we can ever fully comprehend or realize. It’s all part of the mystery we try to understand, but I don’t think we can ever truly know it all.
  10. What makes you think that?
  11. A very humorous way of expressing oneself😅👏
  12. To connect with feminine energy, just be like a flower: soft, beautiful, and occasionally dramatic when someone picks you up without asking. Then sit back, relax, and let the world admire your fabulousness.
  13. I’m glad we share many common views. Thank you for your comment!
  14. It could just be my own way of looking at things, but sometimes it feels like we focus a lot on labels and categories. I wonder if society might be more connected if we focused more on each other as people and less on those distinctions
  15. Gender is often used to describe how people identify, which is different from biological sex.
  16. For me, though, I think society might be less divided if we put less emphasis on gender and labels. Maybe it’s idealistic, but I believe we could all benefit from focusing on who we are as individuals, beyond labels. Either way, it’s good to talk about it.
  17. Yeah, we’re a long way from a genderless society, but I think a lot of the resistance to gender fluidity comes from fear of change and the unknown. Gender roles are so deeply embedded, but there’s definitely a growing movement to rethink these roles. Like you mentioned, language reflects those roles, but language can change over time too. Just because we have gendered pronouns or terms doesn’t mean we can’t adapt or be more inclusive in how we talk about gender.
  18. Good joke, got any more up your sleeve?
  19. No one is saying that all immigrants are criminals, but the majority are. The part about Trump’s invitation is purely speculative. Even if Trump were to behave in an uncontrolled manner, it wouldn’t matter much to the majority of his supporters because you can’t judge everyone’s actions based on one person’s mistakes. Don’t generalize and assume that everyone will handle things the same way because of one individual’s behavior.
  20. You’re talking about a specific day, but that’s no excuse for why we on the right can’t call out the left for their childish behavior. Their emotional responses are about all sorts of things, and this should be called out, even if we on the right have made mistakes as well.
  21. It’s a question that no one will probably be able to answer, but there’s no harm in trying to figure it out.
  22. If you come from potential non-existence, it doesn’t necessarily mean you are eternal. Here’s why: 1. Potential Non-Existence is Not the Same as Eternity • Potential non-existence simply means you didn’t exist in a concrete, actual form before, but the possibility of your existence was present. This implies that you came into being at a certain point in time and are therefore not eternal. • Having the potential to exist doesn’t mean that you have always existed as an actual being or person. Potential non-existence is a kind of latent state, not a state of eternal existence. 2. Eternity Means Existence Without Beginning or End • To be eternal means to have always existed and to always exist—without any clear beginning or end. To exist eternally would mean that there has never been a time when you did not exist. • If you come from potential non-existence, it implies that you have a beginning, as there was a point when you didn’t exist as an actual being. Having a beginning contradicts the idea of being eternal. 3. Example: The Difference Between Potential and Eternity • Think of a seed that has the potential to become a tree. Even though the seed holds the potential for a tree, the tree is not eternal just because it could eventually grow. The tree will have a beginning (when it starts growing) and could also have an end (when it wilts or dies). • In the same way, you had the potential to exist before you actually came into being, but your actual existence has a starting point. Therefore, you are not eternal. 4. Potential is Not the Same as Actualized Existence • A potential existence is not the same as an actual existence, and existing potentially is not the same as existing eternally. Your existence began when you became actualized, meaning you have a starting point and are therefore not eternal. To come from potential non-existence means that you had the possibility of existing, but it doesn’t mean you are eternal. You had a beginning when you came into being, and eternity is reserved for that which has always existed and will always exist without any starting or ending point. This sounds logical, and even though I unfortunately feel hatred toward God, I have to admit that God exists. You are not eternal, you are created, and you should fear your Creator. Reality is harsh, but this is undeniable. I’m glad I haven’t been brainwashed like so many on this forum. Thank you, ChatGPT. But feel free to try to disprove it if you’d like. it’s easy for people to fall into the illusion of self-divinity. We often hear ideas like, “We are all gods,” or “I am the master of my own reality.” But if we peel back the layers and confront reality with clear logic, the notion that any of us could truly be God quickly falls apart.
  23. I’ve never compared them equally, I’ve just pointed out that the left tends to be more emotional when it comes to discussions, debates, and certain issues. But my point is that emotions can drive extreme actions on both sides, even if they manifest differently.
  24. How can existence cease to be if existence is eternal?😏
