But then I studied religion, and I found religious people to be very exhausting. I don’t understand how you can handle these people with all the knowledge you have! In my dreams, why do I look like myself? Shouldn't I take advantage of the no-rules, anything-goes reality of a dream? Why are there any rules and laws in my dreams in the first place? Why does gravity still seem to work in my dreams? I feel like I'm missing out on a great experience. I've always been conscious in my dreams. Whenever I can experience something while sleeping, I am usually aware of it. Sometimes, I find myself resisting that consciousness and trying to let the dream unfold naturally.
