I love this forum, this is not an echo chamber for stage green, there are a lot of diverse perspectives and I really like it. I like this forum the most when other people are disagreeing with me and my favorite forum members are those who either help me understand stuff ot the people who challenge my pre existing worldview.

That I know for a fact. However what I can't put my foot on for being 100% correct is stuff I haven't dirrecly experienced. I can add 1 orange in my pocket and if I add another orange in the same pocket I will have 2 oranges. That is dirrect experience that 1+1=2. However when it comes to building a political worldview, most of the time all my assumptions and beliefs are 100% based on hearsay. If you remembered the soviet times, all the hearsay was communist propaganda that praised above and beyond the communist regime. Can you create a truthful worldview based on hearsay? Absolutely not. Can you dirrecly experience whether something was truthful or not, especially if it happened almost 4 decades ago? Absolutely not. So that's why I asked the initial question.

The problem is that survival happens fast and we don't have a hundred years to validate if something was wrong or right. The reason I contemplate such things is because I want to make the most accurate and sound decisions whenever I am engaged in survival. I get what you say, but your strategy leads to nazism, war and violence. If I have a bias for dictatorship, extreme nationalism, anti-Semitism, blaming everything bad on evil western foreigners that steal our resources, like the people in my proximity have, and I decide that that is correct and truthful, making a blind bet that that is the truth, the country turns into a North Korea style dictatorship. That's why I believe it is extremely important to find a formula and a system that can reveal whether something is trutfull and right or not. My biggest fear is for me to be indoctrinated by my peers and my culture into believing everything they believe. That's why I wanted to know how can I be fully certain that I am right when I contemplate something that reveals some truths that are completely contradictory to the group-think of the people in my community.

I have decided upon my contemplation that I am right and that they are wrong. However everytime I decide that I am right I have this quote from you that echoes in my mind " Isn't it odd that out of all the billions of worldviews and perspectives, only yours is right, valid and truthful? " And then I go back from square one in my contemplation and I assume everything I contemplated up until that moment was wrong.

@Leo Gura For example, recently I spent time analysing the communist regime and the things it did bad and the things it did good in my country. The communist regime here built a ton of industrial factories and basically transformed the country from an agrarian peasant country into a very industrialized country. There were factories that produced industrial goods all over the country, 90% of them built under the dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. Once the communism and the USSR fell, almost the factories went bankrupt. They no longer had orders for their products and in since the fall of communism and dictatorship all the factories that once made everyone have a job were decommissioned and sold for scrap. The far right wingers today and the Russian propaganda says that the west made the politicans of today to render the factories useless on purpose so that the country can become a colony of the west and that the west is exploiting the country for its resources unlike when we were a dictatorship and had full sovereignity over our resources. I found all that just crap and in my own investigation I discovered that the factories were rendered useless once the state dirrected economy collapsed because they weren't built for demand and supply, they were built just to make sure everyone was employed, plus after the border opened and the COMECON was no more, western products outcompeted the products made in our outdated factories. So who is right and who is wrong? I explained my take to the far right wingers in my village that by the way want democracy to end and to become once again a dictatorship, and they say that I am a traitor, my mind is brainwashed by Soros western propaganda that wants people like me to believe that the factories were ineffective so that the westerners could easily steal our resources. They say that my sense making is not mine and that I only parrot western propaganda. How do I decide whether I am wrong or they are wrong?

You made a 3 hour long video about how to recognize when you are wrong about stuff, for being wrong you made a 3 hour long formulaic answer. This is all you can say about recognizing when I could be correct in my understanding of a topic or subject? This is important for me because I am extremely skeptical of my own worldview, biases, persepctives and takes on various subjects. That's what I learnt the most from you. However I realized that skepticism for the sake of scepticism ends up with me shooting myself in the foot. Sometimes I am right in my assessments and my skepticism is what leads to self deception, falsehood and being wrong. All I wanted to know is when I could be sure that my assesments are correct and that my skepticism is actually me drowing in even more wrongness.

And how everyone in my small village is today, I described above. You are not special or genetically superior to the people from your village/city, you had been extremely lucky to find a wise teacher like Leo to have taught you this philosophical work. You could have never stumbled upon Leo and you could found only Andrew Tate who would have exploited you of all your money and indoctrinated you into a toxic sexist, mysoginistic, far right wing ideology.

Congo is easy, also a nice place to visit if you want to experience something exotic and out of the ordinary. However, I bet there is a place where Leo wouldn't have the courage to ever visit again, I think that place is Leo's country of origin. Ask yourself, which of these politicians or political parties are valuing truth the most and have their life and policies guided by the pursuit of truth the most? That's who you should vote for. The more some politician goes above and beyond saying and doing anything that will get him closer to taking power, that's who you should never vote for. The source of all corruption is not setting truth as your highest priority. God, truth, reality those are the same things By setting something else above truth is like saying I know better than God and I do whatever I want, even though this goes against God's unwritten laws of reality. People in the government lie all the time and they get away with it. Every intelligence agency is a source of profound corruption on the world. Notice how people who don't value truth become! Their minds are deluded. They lie to themselves, they cheat, they steal, they kill, they do violence, they hurt others. They live like animals. They're addicts, they're fools, they have a criminal record, they've spent time in prison. All their relationships are broken and toxic. They're depressed, they have anxiety, mental illness, spread misery to the world, they hurt the people close to them. If you go with a hidden camera to analyse someone who puts family as their top priority, you will see how much they work their children and do violence to them when the rubber meets the road. People who don't take truth seriously, they are incapable of love. People who don't prioritise truth, they spread delusion and propaganda. They spread toxic and hurtful politics, create war, they are unreliable and trustworthy, and unstable, they are insecure. Because truth creates security and untruth creates insecurity. Getting your worldview from twitter or political Youtubers is like having your food ordered from the toilet. Genuine truth seeking means a true and genuine desire to understand reality. Not acting like you already know. Not acting like your beliefs are right and your worldview is the truth. It is about going on that journey. Integrity is placing truth above anything else. Corruption is the pacing of personal material gain over truth. This people who run this charities, they are still assholes to their wife and children when they come home. Where do they got those money ? They stole it. Their charity is fake. You lie to get a job, you fake your resume, you bullshit as a political actor because you need to fool people to vote for you, you bullshit to get a sale, you bullshit to run your corporation. You want to be lazy and not work. But truth means work. All lying is done because you want pleasure or you want to avoid some pain. Satan is the master of untruth. All evil begins with untruth. Caring about truth is self-correcting. If you care about truth the epistemic errors that you have will auto correct over time. Otherwise your worldview will become more corrupt. You have to be really careful and honest. You might think you care about truth when in fact you are caring to reinforce your pre-existing beliefs and survival. The psychology of being wrong. Rewatch that episode. The critical aspect of serious development is to realize how wrong you are. Caring about truth is what seriously allows you to be wrong. Unless you are deeply questioning your worldview, you are not having truth as your north star. Valuing truth means deeply caring about epistemology and studying it. It means epistemic responsibility. Investing time and energy into truth seeking. It means paying the cost. Sacrificing survival for truth. Until you sacrifice money, power, sex, fame, success and luxury. If you don't sacrifice the aforementioned, you are not a serious truth seeker and your philosophy is false. Valuing truth means doing hard work. You can't value truth and be lazy at the same time. Nor can you value truth and leech off other people. Truth seeking is a proactive affair not passive. Don't wait for Leo to spoon feed you truth. Find the truth for yourself. If you really cared about truth, you could derive the entire actualized.org body of work just by sitting on the couch and thoroughly contemplating about it. Valuing truth means extreme open mindedness. Through close mindedness you can't expand your understanding of reality. Valuing truth means to explore difficult truths. Valuing truth means acknowledging about you not knowing. Stop speaking things you don't know. Truth also means not selling out.
