Ishanga replied to Something Funny's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Not really, you can use some methods to make every moment a spiritual training or sadhana really.. I've written a few e books on this and how to do it.. Of course there are sitting and standing practices that cannot be done while working or doing life activities, these need dedication and commitment and personal space, but things can be done while living a normal life... -

As soon as One expresses via this sort of method of posting on a forum, or talking about it with others, or sharing as a teaching, all of it becomes a story or philosophy to all listening, its helpful but not the Truth, the Truth is only within You as an Experience, everything else is concept, story, philosophy.. Problem is we are addicted to mind and intellect, reading, writing, expressing, watching.. this is fine if You are Living the Truth Experientially, not so fine if you are not, it will lead You further away from Truth and a Living Reality! -

There are paradoxes in Life and Reality, this is why our Mind and using Logic won't work, You cannot live to your highest Potential via the Intellect or Logic or trying to fit it all together in a straight line... Yes, there is only the living Now, that is where Life exists, Past is just Your Memory, Future is just Your imagination, neither exists in physical reality, but they exist in Your Mind, and with the past this is Karma, all the actions You performed in the past (Body, Mind, Emotion, Energy action) has a residual affect, its like an impression, deny this all You want, but all of existence/Creation is like this, if there was no Big Bang or whatever, no creation would exist, no planet earth, no invention of the internet, no forum, no You posting on it.. So even thought the past does not exist, it has an affect on us, especially if Your an Human Being and Unconscious! Free Will lies in the fact that You can dissolve this personal Karma that You have, You can be Aware, which is another form of intelligence I would say, via this Your actually living in the NOW moment, this is reflected in Your Experience as Peace, Joy, Bliss, via that foundation You can see with Clarity (the future per say) and play this physical game of duality, karma, materialism here on Earth while Embodied.. There paradox is just this, life is only Now, but we can use the past experience to be wise from and plan for future but live now totally...This applies to Human Existence only... Your Body is full of the Past, but live Now.. Your Mind is past/future orientated, but Awareness can override the mind...Just play the game, don't analyze it too death... -

My last reply on this subject here anyway, my choice eh:) Differing opinions means looking at the same evidence, same #'s and such and interpreting it differently via a choice of how to interpret, based on their own choosing of understanding, It doesn't get more objective than physics and/or other sciences does it not? Then how to have a disagreement? Its in interpretation which is choosing to see it differently.. And Free Will is not about belief,, Now I've already said that the majority of ppl live predetermined lives, karma rules them, so predetermination is alive and well in tons of ppl, but so is choice and Free Will, as well as Randomness and chaos.. Its all of this stuff mixed together.. but hey anything can be argued and said to be not true based on the individuals personal logic, which is again a choice.. We all make tons of decisions everyday, some are predetermine (like my body it wants to go pee mostly at the sametimes everyday, but I can hold it, and if I try hard enough change that routine and predetermination to some other time.), and some are based on high level of choice, those that are highly Conscious have more access to Free Will and out of the trap of predetermination than those of lesser consciousness.. -
He is different than lets say Zehan who's more into day to day and recent history stuff, supply chains and demographics, and he's certainly not into secret societies, so its nice to view different ones and see their angles for sure!!

I don't think their so "Secret" any more, there are usual suspect, Rockefellers, Rothchild's, and those sort from way back when.. I think we are so corrupted and brainwashed by what they all started that it is almost on autopilot now, like he demonstrated with the kids in school socking the other kids because the authority figure told them to do so, but also there are rebels too, but they have their own scheme of control that they want to establish as well, think Cartels and large criminal orgs as well as Intelligence agencies and countries like Israel and middle east ones that want to take down American ways of life and culture religion and ways of living.. Basically we are all screwed in the end on all sides is my pov...

No, they called them Householders in India, and they have a whole system of Spirituality set up for ppl that have families and work at jobs/careers, this has been around for centuries if not thousands of years.. Basically in India back in the old days, you had to decide in what direction you wanted to go in at 16 or 18, family life or spiritual life, if you choose family life, you got married, had kids, worked until you were in your 50's or so, then you separated from your family (most of the kids were out of the house by then) and went to an ashram and went in the spiritual direction then at older ages...Its a good system if you ask me.. -

Its exactly this..,and Your the one that brought Einstein into the conversation.. We can all go back and forth and post this video and that video contradicting the other person's video, quote this or that person, and I find it interesting that even in the objective world of facts that science is supposed to be about there are varying opinions on the same subject, if that only doesn't tell You that free will exists as a possibility for Human Beings then I don't know what will.. This is just a perfect example of extreme belief blinding ppl, please all that read this look Above!! -

@Breakingthewall For sure it beats "I am just imagining You and everything else, I took a drug and now I am GOD, bow down to my wisdom, bow down to my presence" that goes on around here lol... -

Sadhguru calls this solace seeking, but its not a solution, like a band aid, it comes off soon after it is put on as wear and tear will make that so.. I think these types serve a purpose though, some are just not ready for the real work, the sadhana needed, so they go to where they fit in.. but I want to know what methods do they share other than talking and writing? Its like Eckhart Tolle, he was my first introduction to Spirituality, and he makes tons of sense imo regarding living now and ego issues and acceptance, but what method does he share other than intellectual ones? At least with Sadhguru he states that all the talking is circus, something he has to do to gain interest, but the real work in in the Sadhana, the Kriya's, the Asana work, and even the temples he built helps tremendously on levels we don't realize.. I can see the differences btwn the two sorts of ways, there are saints talking and writing, then there are Guru's doing it, living it, proving it works.. I guess I am a method sort of guy, got this from the martial arts I trained in I guess.. -

The most effective I've ever seen or heard of, it did wonders for me when I first started doing it, 12 min long! -

@Breakingthewall I think we get to a point of overthinking and over intellectualizing it for sure.. These Guru's and Saints and such, they all have their way of expressing it, this is there to appeal to all the personality types, karmic types and surface uniqueness that exist thru Human Nature or Egoic nature, its only a starting point imo.. We can go on and on forever with this stuff (just see all the threads, posts, replies here, just think of all the other forums, other avenues of discussion, analyzing, rehashing, arguments thru history) and where does it all lead.. This place Actualized.org is perfect example, its full of ego and identification, dick measuring, your wrong/I'm right, no one really listens to what anyone else is saying/writing, this just go on and on with their ideologies and discussions, then You see them posting in the mental health section talking about being addicted to this or that drug or ssri or whatever, so its a joke in a way.. We can share all we want, but in the end its forgotten tomorrow, but what is our present state of Awareness, can I go outside and just see a tree without labelling it and feel connected?? Most cannot do this, I have trouble sometimes doing this but I can do it at times... But if You like it and it empowers You continue on, I appreciate Your sharing and how You see it and explain things lately allot:) -

Wolfgang Smith, Mathematician and Physicistm he spent years with the Yogis in India, called them Giants, but was more of a gnostic Christian I would say, Here is what he says about Free Will.. "Wolfgang Smith explored the concept of free will within his broader metaphysical framework, particularly through the lens of "vertical causality," which posits that higher levels of being—such as the intellect and the soul—can influence lower levels, including the physical world. He argued that free will is an expression of this vertical causality, where the human soul, as a higher ontological reality, exercises causal power over physical processes, thereby enabling genuine freedom of choice. This view stands in contrast to the mechanistic worldview of modern science, which reduces all causation to physical interactions and thus undermines the possibility of free will. Smith maintained that the corporeal world, which includes human experience and consciousness, is not merely a projection of the physical universe but a real and ontologically distinct domain that allows for such higher-level causation. He emphasized that the collapse of the wave function in quantum mechanics, which requires an observer, hints at a metaphysical order where consciousness and will play a fundamental role, aligning with his notion of vertical causality. In his work, Smith asserted that the traditional tripartite cosmology—comprising the corporeal, the physical, and the spiritual—provides the necessary framework to understand free will as a real and meaningful phenomenon, not an illusion produced by deterministic processes." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Smith -

Levels bro, there are levels to it all, baby steps, first dis identify with Body and Mind, then go from there, when ppl that are unprepared (psychedelic users mostly) have these grand experiences whatever that is, they come back freaking out, and then don't know what the hell life is and how to integrate the grand experiences.. You've just this moment become a Billionaire, now what do You do? You go a bit crazy, spend spend spend, lose friends/family, gain fake ones, go thru this craziness and either come out of it wiser or worse than before You won it.. Or you grow slowly, make a $100K a year, then a million a few years later and so on, slow and steady then you can handle it much better.. We have to deal with what is what, we have this body and mind, it rules us mostly, getting over just that is huge, after that thank god we have Guru's and Teachers that have been there before us to guide and help... No need to reinvent the wheel, time tested methods and systems are already out there, nobody is experiencing anything new, its just new to them but not on the grand scale..
