Just because You have a feeling of Oneness within Yourself, which is the only place you can have it, in the end everything is subjective because all experience happens within You, at the sametime we are just individuals, with individual bodies and minds, that can have Enlightening experiences but there is an objective world out there, separate from our individual body/mind complex, no matter how your inner experience is, others are not having it or may never have it, so in most ways you cannot manipulate others or things outside yourself, although I have researched that this is also possible on some Guru/Master levels, like a jedi of sorts, but most ppl that realize Enlightenment also lose their individuality Body/Mind complex as well, only Guru/Master level types stay on in my understanding. So the key to it all is that our potential/possbility within ourselves and everyone is the same, if we make the fundamental experience that of Oneness/Connectedness/God Realization, then the world would be a better place, right now the opposite is true, most everyone has an experience of Separation and Division, this is due to wrong identification, they think/believe they are the body/mind which is all individualistic, not God Realization experience... -

@Davino Well yes but its not the Ego directly that is the problem, its believing or experience it as You, so we have to get more fundamental, if all of us had no Ego, then how would you deal with other ppl, other personalities and identities and situations, its bad enough as it is, but with no ego's, I don't know really how it would be, its a tool and something to use to function in society better, I think either if we had no ego then we would be in a sense of oneness and bliss all the time and our species would not have survived this long or it would have continued to be chaos and such war like environments all the time everywhere and hence again would would not have survived as long..What is saving us is laziness, ppl are addicted to media, internet, entertainment and drugs/Booze, it causes problems but the vast majority are out of touch and do nothing with their lives, hence why we have a lonliness problem as well... -

Ego is needed in a society, it is neither good or bad, like Your body or mind complex it is a tools of sorts, when alone drop it, but it is not You, identifying with it like I said is the problem, identifying with things You are not leads us to where we are today... -
Ishanga replied to Scholar's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Scholar Are You really Loving Yourself, or are you Blissed out? I think You are Blissed Out, this isn't Love for Yourself, but just a great intensity of pleasure. When I read what You wrote, it is great that You are feeling intense pleasure within, that You see Love as a vehicle for making this world a better place for all, but when I read I just love myself, I can just hug and cuddle myself, this makes me cringe lol, it become egoic and narsasstic in nature, it becomes about the shell of the body and mind complex. Stick to the great intense feeling of pleasure, and love You want to express to other, get rid of these feelings of I and cuddling self and such things, it gets you too trapped into yourself, just express Your love to others as much as possible, make them the priority, but its a process for sure, good going, glad for You:) -

He's basically talking about Dharana the sixth limb of yoga. This is one pointed focus, first on a object of choice, you practice this (after completing/mastering the first 5 before the 6th step), then afterwards your focus is just there, and can be maintained at will, when this happens then comes contemplation with no judgements, after this comes Samahdi where You experience oneness for periods of time, there are like 7 different kinds of Samahdi, nothing new in what he is saying... -

@Keryo Koffa Natural Happiness, where it is your base state, which is what we are made for is not good for the Economic system we have set up in the world today, being naturally Happy means less buying of goods and services, food and shelter do not make up the majority of the economy, plus being Happy keeps us healthier and big pharma would lose out big time and their one of the top industries world wide (2 trillion + yearly), so we are conditoned to be miserable in many ways, its better for Business... -

@Breakingthewall The word "God" is a bad word to use, it has too many misinterpretations, and individual definitions nowadays. When I hear that word, what pops into my head is the God of the bible, a supreme being of sorts in another realm that is the creator of the universe and supposedly loves every human but demands you obedience and wants you to love him, which is nuts...much better to use the word Life, Source, Grand Intelligence, Brahaman, as its non personified and not about judgement or slavery... -
We have to realize that existence, both material and non material, physical and non physical is happening on many levels and layers, when You say "I am Everything", what do you mean by this? Your Body is not my Body, your Mind (its patterned thoughts, ideas, concepts, experiences, memory, etc) is not my mind, so first define what this "I" is.. On the most fundamental Level we are all the same, we are Life, some call this Soul, Source, God, Intelligence, etc,, but that is the fundmental. Life is what allows all of this material and non material existence to happen, whether it is in the form of a plant, tree, insect, human, or ghost, spritual realm that is not seen or sensed, this is what Life is, as Human Beings on this planet we have the most ability to be Conscious and Aware of this within ourselves, when one does become Aware of it that is what we label/call as Enlightened. But we are Embodied with a Body/Mind complex, and we live in Dual world, where Paradox can live. Onnesss, the source of the Spritual realm, is where all possibility lives, but there is no Individuality/duality to perceive like we have on this Earth and plane of existence. So although we can experience Oneness within Ourselves, and eventual meld with it completely (when we do we lose our individuality), before that we live on various levels and layers of Reality. Its only a matter of how Conscious/Aware one is, how close the Truth they are living/experiencing within the only Moment that exist which is Now.

On the most fundamental level we are all the same, we all breath, desire, have egos, and even more fundamentally we are all Life, but on other levels, like the level we are functioning at here on this forum, we are NOT the same, as it is all ideologies, concepts and mental games and egos at play here. So when it comes to general things like how to know the true nature of what we are, we can say certain things/methods apply to ALL, like are you sitting right, breathing right, thinking right, understanding right, being now right or past/future orientated, etc... but we specifics, like what is the nature of this thing we label as Infinity, there are no answers anyone can give you to leads to truth, it is something you can not understand, but you can experience..Understanding intellectually is only to develop curiousity within the Spritual path so one eventually does the real work or Sadhana to know Truth that is always within themselves.. -
Ishanga replied to Keryo Koffa's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Keryo Koffa Your trapped in Your mind, thinking pattern way too much, your thinking about Life, not living Life, experiencing Life as it is, just thinking, which is an endless loop of meaningless thoughts generated from the societies garbage bin we call our minds... -
Ishanga replied to Spiritual Warrior's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Infinity, like the World, is just an idea that is in your mind, via education, learning words, ideologies, culture and so forth. Ppl here and all over talk about the "World", and "Ppl believe this or that, or are doing this or that", this is just a strong idea you have, its not reality in allot of ways, its your 5 senses bringing into Your conditioned Mind information, via Your conditioning you come up with ideologies to explain away what it all means, but You or I do not know the reality of it. So don't concern Yourself with "Infinity" what it is, what it means, because when someone comes with an answer, its just another idea or story for you to include in your Mind. Just be the highest potential that you can be, you'll never get there asking more and more questions, and receiving answers from outside sources. all the answers to the most important questions are within you, find the place where the answers are and all questions disappear... -
Danger has always been present in Human history, it is just now we are more enabled via science and technology than ever, before it was only a handful of ppl that could have been hurt or killed in a village somewhere, but now that the economy is so connected, or with our nuclear weapons that when somone goes off the rails that has power, we can all suffer for it. What to do about it? Well first don't take yourself, or your life too too seriously, take it serious when need be, provide food, shelter the basics for yourself and family, but in the end, even when going out to get to work if you live in a urban environment, there is danger, so life is very fragile, don't take it so serious that you become sick or bitter/angry over it, Second, make Yourself into what you want to see in the world, live a Joyful and Healthy life within each moment, don't suffer or create suffering within Yourself because there are others suffering, just be the highest possibility that You can be now, then go about your business, influencing those that are around you that can see your living a high possibility life...

Spiritual Path has nothing to do with Your Emotions, Emotions come from Mind, You are not the Mind or Body. Body comes from Food/Earth, Mind from your 5 senses which are survival tools, Spirituality is about coming intouch with that aspect of You that is non physical in nature, so why would it bring You to a sociapathic path??? -

A Woman can explain to a Man what it is like to give Birth to a Baby, but no matter what words or how many she uses, a Man will never understand what it is like to have a baby like she does, so there is intellectual Understanding, which is what this forum is all about and is very very limited, and then there is Subjective personal Experience, which is Miles above the latter...Don't try to Understand Existence or Your place in it, this will just lead you further away, just try to meld with it, accept it, respond to it, then You will understand it much better than ever before:) -

@Carl-Richard Even "I do not Know" is better than Belief. Belief gives You Confidence Knowing gives You Clarity I Do Not Know forces You to Seek. Confidence is the least empowering, its false knowing, You think You know but You don't so you can get into more danger this way Clarity is the wisest path to go in life, Life is lived at Ease (not meaning Easy), with Ease You can go full stride (no fear, no stress in this stage), not two step forward one step back when life is fear or belief based Seeking give You energy and the ability to Know, so your on the path of knowing when in Seeking mode, this is the beginners route. -

How does it getting stolen affect my knowing, or how would it be any different if I believed? Your question makes no sense. If I believed it was outside and it was stolen, or I know it is outside and it was stolen, same difference...Irrelevant question...What ifs mean nothing and can be endless... -

This thing about all of us being One, and there is no separation, is complete BS on lots of levels. Ultimately Yes it is true, but that is on the level of non physicality, on this level, Earthly Bodily Material level, we are not one, and we are separate individuals, but we can have an Experience of Oneness within Ourselves, that gives us a connection to everything, as well on a more subtle physical level we are all connected via the trees supplying O2 for us to breath/survive, the Sun is supplying heat and other life giving things to all of Us, there are many levels of connection in that manner, we are not totally independent of one another but we have separate bodies and minds, neither of which is what we are in reality, body/mind is accumulated by us over time, what is us is subtler than that, but we still have to deal with the duality and individuality that is present when Embodied..On Subtler level of Psyche yes you can feel others intentions, feelings and the grand feeling of the earth and if You sensitive enough the entire Universe as we are not separate from any of that, it just depends on what You identify with, body/mind, or the Life you are within Yourself...Never suffer anothers pain or suffering, that just adds to the suffering of the world, just notice it, and maintain your own peace/bliss within yourself and see what You can do to help others not suffer as best You can, that is all one can do... -

I know where my car is, I put it there, no belief about it:) Belief is thinking you know via other information that is not from You, Knowing is information that you can verify via Your own experience and clarity. I know I have 5 fingers on each hand, I do not believe I have 5 fingers on each hand... -

I never said "all humans are bad" because they believe, it is just belief is not an empowering tool, it replaces truth and clarity and seeking...I repectfully disagree, humans can exist quite easily without belief.. -
Ishanga replied to StarStruck's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Carl-Richard Your reality is but a story or belief for me, My reality is but a story or belief for you, this is the limitation of logic and/or communicating on forums like this, its strictly intellectual in nature, entertainment on many levels too, we in reality are talking around Spirituality/Enlightenment/Awakening, not really about it or what it really is, only the Subjective experience will give you that:) -
Ishanga replied to StarStruck's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Belief's are why the world is the way it is today, why wars happen (its one person's belief vs. another person's belief), why there is still poverty for a massive amount of ppl while a rare few hold all the wealth, and why suffering is still here today when we are living in the greatest age of technology and information sharing ever...How many varying belief's are there in this world? About 8+ billion. so I would say belief is a pretty bad thing. When it comes to spirituality yes we in the beginning get all our information reading about it or watching videos, so its all intellectual sooner or later you will form ideas about it all, these are how belief's come about, but in the end its when you get past all of this intellectual stuff, stop reading about it, watching it, and get into the real work of it, using methods that can give you real results and personal experience that you see belief means very little once you have a taste of reality of sorts. Its best not too think about Enligthenment or heft goals like this, this is like starting a businesss and thinking You will be be a Billionaire soon, it doesn't work like that. Small steps first, become Peaceful, maintain that state all the time no matter what is happening, not as a thought process but as a natural flowering, then go from there... -
Ishanga replied to StarStruck's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No, You try the method to see if it actually works. First there has to be an Awareness that something is off, then one has to search for a method to make a change, you try the method if it is working for you in your experience then change is alive and transformation is on its way...no belief at all is involved, just ways and methods to use and experiment with for change/tranformation to happen on the Spiritual path...plus we have 1000 of years of history to use as proof, Yoga is over 50,000 yrs old, if it didn't work it wouldn't be here still available today...its just a matter of Willingness to try and curiosity to search and strive for a more Aware and Empowered life... -
Ishanga replied to Princess Arabia's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I had my first Awakening after reading Tolle's "New Earth" book, it made me realize my Ego almost instantly, once that happened you can't go back, so a level of Awareness happened then, then started Sadhguru's programs and that brought more Awareness, Joy, Health. Now I still have some bad days where the energy level is down, mood is down but when outside dealing with the public as I do in my work, I'm naturally always polite and wish all well, only in traffic do I get a bit mad lol...Generally I feel a space has been created btwn my thinking mind/ego personality and what is observing it, call it me or life or whatever, but a space is there, so the karma and thinking pattern is not as strong compared to before Awakening happened, I don't stay mad or angry for very long either. Last summer my Wife and I went back to my hometown to visit my familty, so I was away from the big city and in a country environment, very close to a lake and peaceful atmosphere, I found within a couple of days I was having laughing fits for really no reason, in a much higher mood, I never have that here in the city,,, -
Ishanga replied to StarStruck's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No Belief is involved in a Authentic Spiritual Path or Paradigm. Belief means you are unwilling to admit You do not Know! One of the first steps in Spirituality is admitting I do not KNOW anything, then from that developing a deep desire to just Know what is Reality, what is Truth, that puts you on the path (Pain of Ignorance), then You find a method or way to get there for it to be a personal Experience for You. Belief puts you further away from Truth, and what the Spiritual path is meant to do for You... -
Ishanga replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here Both are right on some level and degree... In my research over the years and personal experience, there are two basic Spiritual Paths, 1) Top Down method which is Your already there, there is no need to do anything for Enlightenment, just realize you are there and an infinite being of sorts, no methods are given here, so think modern day Non Dualism, Neo vedanta or Jnana Yoga. 2) Start where You are approach, where you don't think about Reality or Enlightenment or things of this nature, You just deal with what is happening within You right now, if Your in suffering, you become Peaceful and step by step go up the latter to where Enlightenment is possible for You, think Yoga, Buddhism methods and mediations, Sadhanas and Breathing practices, Chakra releases, etc..... I prefer approach #2, but when You become realized, you get into approach #1....
