@Actualising Its good You have a good example to live up too, I would investigate all You can on how to be like Osho, watch all his videos, contemplate what he is saying, do some of his practices, and see what happens.. Don't listen to anyone about what is right or wrong, be Yourself BS, just get to be like Osho as much as possible, what comes of it will be what comes of it, naturally Your own expression will arise and come forth for all the see! -

I think the key thing is the there are many levels between the 2 categorise, its not just ppl that believe and ppl that know, there are those that have had the experience of Oneness, it changed them but did not Transform them, big difference! Transform means nothing of the old remains, that is not the case here for many, for some maybe. I'm in the middle, I've gone thru the theory and belief stage, I've done years and years of sadhana and work, now not so much, not in the traditional way, but all of this has created a certain Karma for Me, I'm on the tip of the peak it seems, still have a ways to go, ego still flares up but it vanishes quicker after a flare up every year, even in a bad mood, treating ppl well it natural for Me, jokes come out naturally, my interaction is not selfish for the most part, unless You cut me off in traffic lol, can't stand that:) I'm just took caught up in a few survival processes, someday it may drop internally as a Realization, then I will go from there... -

I've shared the 5 Sheaths Theory before here on the Forum, I think it explains it well and detailed as to what reincarnates and such... What dissolves at physical death is the Earth Body and the Mind Body (Intellect, Discretion, Personal Memories and such), what goes on is the Energy Body, Etheric Body, Bliss Body (I am not sure what the Bliss Body is, is it a covering for the Atman/Soul, or is it that itself??) Karma is Stored in the Energy Body, so that goes along as reincarnation is happening... Some of what Your talking about is not Karma, its Duality at play which can cause Karma to be in place and being created moment to moment I guess? Karma is cause and affect, residual memory imprints from previous actions in 4 places as a Human Being, Body, Mind, Emotion and Energy, action in these 4 areas are happening on a moment to moment basis, how Aware are You/WE of these actions all the time?? Probably its at a nil level, so therefore most ppl are living by accident, not on purpose or with Consciousness of What they are, and What it means to be Human...But the situation is set up to be perfect almost, Nature if left alone is almost Perfect, the way our planet revolves around the Sun for as long as it is and will be, its perfect, as it the rest of the Universe and Existence, but things are not so perfect on this planet in the Human World, cause we have Free Choice/Will to chose how to experience this perfect place and Universe, via Unconsciousness or Consciousness?? -

@Someone here Because I can't remember any previous lives or physical deaths, I try not to believe or disbelieve anything I learn about, especially matters such as this, reincarnation, but it sounds good! I think this process comes about via Karma at play, it has to be worked out or burned up and most times it takes more than 80 yrs to do so, since ppl are creating more Karma along the way, so as they say many lifetimes are needed to play it all out... In the end its all about Absolute, this Brahma getting to experience and express itself imho, otherwise why are we and all this creation here?? Sadhguru says to never ask why, when You do then as story has to be told to You and via that a belief or disbelief is born which leads us further away from Experientially knowing, someday we will find out for sure:) -

Yoga is like any discipline, its needs a Teacher/Guru/Sifu for sure, at least at the beginning stages which is critical for development.. When I learned Martial Arts, Wing Chun to be specific, there are many lineages and styles of Wing Chun, I first learned one style from a Sifu, at the sametime I learned from books and videos (this was before the internet was born) from my Sifu's teacher, this helped too, but the primary was my focus and practices schedule and intensity of desire to learn and progress.. Yoga is slightly different in this manner, with Asanas for sure You need a Teacher to teach You the postures and poses and breathing is correct, this can take a long time (unless Your in an intensive training course), but the other things like spiritual Transmission and other such esoteric practices/methods totally require the Guru to be present, not physically present but One being Initated by the Guru and the person being dedicated to just that Guru... Today this is frowned upon because ppl are brought up to independent and self reliant, yes they can do it themselves but it will take lifetimes and not just one lifetime with the Guru's presence and assistance on all levels of what it means to be Human. this is not considered in ppl's minds today, especially in the West.. Everything that the West has borrowed from the East is low quality and bastardised beyond belief, this is true in Martial Arts and Spirituality!! -

Boredom is a clear sign that One is a Slave to External Senses being stimulated, the Mind is craving stimulation from the 5 senses, this is natural in a basic survival way, but its not top level Human Ability or Capability.. Top Level Human Capability is Your in complete control of How You Experience Life Moment to Moment, this is not a Thinking process, its a Natural Process, like when You get hungry, Your not thinking food (some may if they are addicted, but if Your healthy, You will at one time or another during the day get Hungry), its just comes to you as a feeling/experience that it is getting close to eating time, its the same with Creating Your Own Experience, You consciously chose how You want to feel then it comes to You..Of course this sort of Control has to come with striving for it, so that it is a natural thing.. So Boredom is basically for those ppl that do not experience Life at its highest intensity, their Mind Identified and driven and therefore will not be able to feel the Intensity of Life, as Mind is not Life Orientated, its Past/Future, Memory/Imagination orientated, and Life is not found there, its found in the Present Moment and Mind is never orientated in the present Moment... -

Of course I've seen him use this reference many times before, since I've watch most all video's available with Sadhguru, lol.. With this I think he is just trying to suggest that there are three entities at play here, if the word entity is the right word to use.. There is the Body and Mind, then there is You. With language it doesn't do this concept or reality any justice, its actually makes it more confusing, but its simple once You Experience it for Yourself.. As he says, You have accumulated or gathered both the Body and Mind, Body via the Food You have eaten (hence the 1st Sheath Food/Earth Body) and Mind via the input of data from the 5 sense organs (hence the 2nd Sheath Mental Body, which also denotes the intelligence that is prevalent throughout the system, not the calculating/survival based sort of intelligence, but an intelligence that is not memory based), the key question he raises is, if these two things were Accumulated/Gathered, what was there before this accumulation process happened, something had to be there for it too happen, what that is is what You Are... So by creating a conscious space btwn Your Body/MInd and You, once that is established, then Suffering is impossible and life Potential opens up big time in one's life!! -

Sadhguru on the lost concepts of Heaven and how this is a disability to humanity, to think that there is another place better than this place.. The key is that Life is within You, and it is outside of You but first You have to discover that You are Life itself, and when You realize this then Bliss is natural for You, and via that "What about Me" leaves You and then You can open up other Potentials for You to explore, that is Enlightenment comes into play in Your Life.. -
Ishanga replied to integral's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@integral You/We are here because Absolute is Potential and Possibility, so therefore We have to exist, Duality has to Exist, Karma has to exist somewhere, so we are that, as well we are here for Absolute to know itself, via Experience and Expression... Nothing to do with Love, or any Human Emotion... -

Well Said and this is very Important, but is criticized around here for some reason.. Guru's and Teachers talk so much today because this Culture we have requires it, the Guru will adapt to whatever Culture they are in, back in the day they didn't have to talk as much, the ppl were much simpler and receptive to the Guru and his Energies/Transmission, today the ppl are not like this, they are cynical basically, and much too independent/exclusive Minded and Awareness level, they want to do it on their own but this will mean many mistakes and suffering along the way, its so obvious with the ppl around here how they are, its sad.. Why do it this way, when many have done with help via the Guru Disciple path and it can happen with much more Ease and faster!!! -
Ishanga replied to Panteranegra's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There is no baggage with Kriya Yoga, its a direct method dealing with internal energies and such, its just internal work, you do the practices and see the results.. -
For some reason certain songs are coming up for Me, deep down they are little messages.. This one from Van Halen, is a classic, i've been listening to it allot lately on the ride back home from work, its symbolic, Jump into What?? Deep meaning arising!!! I've been focusing on the Synthesiser pieces on this song for some reason, never did before, weird...

Once You establish a space btwn what is You and what is not You (Body, Mind, Ego, Thoughts, Ideologies, Memory, Karma, etc) then that is the First realization to have, that brings You naturally Peace, with that Ease comes into Your Life, no longer is "What about Me" that important, its important, and You take care of this Body and Mind, and Family/Social life if You please, if you don't You drop it, if not You play the game of Life, Life is Lila they say, or Divine Game, Absolute is learning/knowing about itself... -

It should be clear what the result is of taking psychedelics too seriously, Leo is an example of that... I will give him credit that he has a very very strong desire to know Truth and Reality, and has put great effort into that path that he has chosen for himself, I have lots of Respect for him in that endeavour, but its gotten him where he is today, suffering health problems and such, not sure if his use of psychedelics lead to this or not, but now it seems he is stuck reliving previous experiences and going via that to come to conclusions about Reality.. Yoga is can be a fast way or slow way, slow way is safe and secure in that its a progression, you go the path of Peace and Bliss, then Your more naturally open to higher Realizations of Reality and its safe, Your Stable and Grounded, the other ways like psychedelics is like giving a homeless man $1 Billion to spend, he will go crazy with it and is not prepared for it, so that is dangerous, unless Your sick of this sort of life and want to leave it... -

The Universe, Us are Holograms, everything that is creation as creation is the whole of Creation within It, its Intelligent Design, and the Fundamental Aspect of what we Are is the same for all Life and Form Expression, Spirituality is about Experiencing the Sameness! -
Ishanga replied to Ishanga's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
When it comes to bias, here's my take.. I think there is One Fundamental Truth, not many dependent on ppl's various opinions, and that's what bias are just ppl's opinions, same with scientists, they disagree all the time, but how so if it is based on science and discovery and testing and such things, how can they disagree.. The One Truth is that we are all the same, much more the same than different, we all breath, emote with emotions, judge, love, hate, laugh, cry, bleed, eat, shit, talk, sing, sleep, and a million other things.. Just because one person likes vanilla ice cream and another likes chocolate it means nothing... Hinduism, the point of my posting is that they knew many of the scientific truths we have discovered today via tools used to perceive things, but they did not have those tools, they learned it or knew via the best tool of all time, that is You, Your Body and Mind and Spirit combined are the best tools to know the Reality as it is, not tools like science is using today, all its really brought us are major comforts and conveniences, the world still suffers more than ever, our environment is going down the tubes and ppl don't give a shit about anything, so what does science have anything to do about it in anyway.. At least with Hinduism, which imo is not a religion, more of a concept of application towards liberation and a higher conscious life, its shows the way out of this situation we are in, and it can be tailor made to differing personalities and lifestyles... -
Uh No.. If what You say is the way it should be, then no Laws would exist, ppl should be free to steal, rape, plunder and do whatever to You, Your loved ones and property right?? Its just basic to want things to go smoothly is it not, cutting me off in traffic is that doing just that, or is it being concerned about Your own needs and not anyone elses? When You start to use this word 'Freedom" it is not what most ppl think it too mean, its not about total and complete freedom to do whatever, since we are living with others there has to be mutual respect, this is not the case lots of the time, their unconsciousness is very high so they don't respect even themselves, so how to respect another...

This is True, I see it everyday, I am out and about at work, I'm a courier for a well known company, I'm all over the place, malls, residential areas, hospitals, airports, etc... Ppl today are completely blind and conditioned, self centered, of course there are the rare "good" ones, that are truly polite and well mannered and want the best for themselves and their families, but its limited to just those ppl close to them, and I feel it within myself how living in this environment has effected Me, its like I am seeing a part of myself that is sick and diseased and its spreading, but it doesn't affect me for long periods of time, I feel it for a few minutes then I am back to my happy go lucky self, and I am able to naturally treat all ppl with respect when they deserve it.. I have a philosophy that you can tell the Consciousness of ppl by the way they behave when driving, in Toronto it is nuts here, within 5 mins of leaving my home I will see multiple examples of ppl driving selfishly and unconcerned about others safety and wellbeing, this says allot, its all about aggressive driving here, and ppl are dying everyday because of it, and winter is starting now and nothing changes...

I started a thread awhile ago, a Martial Arts colleague of mine Adam Chan, he was almost dead a few years ago from major health issues due to overtraining and fighting, he was always into Taoism/Qi Gung but not seriously, he went everywhere to try to get help, none of it worked, so he went full time into Taoism methods of Sadhana, he meditated 4-7hrs a day for 2yrs, it cured him off all of his aliments and he's never been happier and healthier, and his martial arts skills have improved too, and he was top level Bruce Lee level before all of this, so its a real system that works for sure...
