This is multi part series about Chi Gung. Adam talking about the reason we continue meditating beyond the basic mental/physical benefits. Also, we will be talking about walking meditation. He emphasizes that if You stay basic in the practice, your still stuck in a wheel of compulsions, yes You feel better overall, but Your still creating stress, looking outside for fulfilment and not quite there yet, with depth in Your practice You see Life for what it is, nothing is permanent, everything will come then go, and that Now is all there is,,Cool stuff!! -

Well categorized! Pain and Pleasure are the basis of most of how we try to function in life, You eat things You like, not dislike, because there is pleasure associated with it, but we can go beyond this as Human Beings, its okay to enjoy something but not okay to make it life's mission and purpose... Bliss is beyond this pleasure/pain equation, its knowing what You are and what the Reality is, not via intellectual understanding, but experientially... -

A Real Spiritual Teacher will not guide you via words or in what they say in relation to how You will or have to think, this is not true authentic teaching, a True teaching will lead by example, will lead by ambiance and energy in what they are doing, its like being close to a fire when cold, it warms you up by being intouch with them, same thing here, one that is Spiritual in their True nature, by being close to them You will get some of it too, not via teachings or words being expressed, that is used to get some interest going, since we are living in an intellectual age where words have to be used for anything to be done... -

First realize YOU are creating Fear, as with any and all other experiences that YOU have within, its just a question of is this a Conscious or Unconscious process.. When You first come upon a busy street, when you were a little child, there was some fear, what if I cross and get hit by a car, now that you are older and have experience there is no fear, because you have clarity, you know how to cross the street when its safe. So it is this way in life always, Fear is about living in the future but no knowing what is going to happen, its imagination really (Ego problem with lack of control). But the future does not exist in reality, there is only NOW, so Fear is disabling really, all You need is Clarity, to see what is the situation as it really is and navigate it correctly, for the most part this will guide You thru life with Ease, as fear is disabling for most ppl, it puts them in fight or flight mode easily and most are living there in today's world, or living in the past via memory and being bitter or depressed about it..none of that is empowering for you, Clarity is Empowering, it allows You to be open to what may happen, if your not open your stuck in the past always... -

Konstantin Zülske. He is a musician, traveler, and environmentalist. He has traveled from Germany to India on his bicycle with the message of saving soil. In this episode, we will talk about his experience traveling through different countries, interacting with different people, and witnessing different cultures. We also talked about Pakistan and the life of people in the rural area of Pakistan. Along with that, we also touched upon his life in Germany and how he got out of dr*g addiction to pursue spirituality. -
Yes agreed! I'm not against Psychedelics but against abuse of it or neediness towards it, like anything else those things apply too...

This is a form of Karma, Karma can be described as a sort of Conditioning, but its more complex than that for sure, but to put it simply the way to go beyond Karma is too focus on NOW where life exists, not past or future which is really memory and imagination, both of which come from the Mind,,,, Identify with more of a Cosmic Identity, not with culture or society of any kind, adapt to the culture/society you live in, play by their rules, but don't think this is who You are, same with Teachings, Ideologies and Philosophies of any kind, just use them for whatever purposes that you need them for then drop them when not needed. Eventually this creates a space btwn what is You and what is not You, what is not You is anything Mind or Psychological, or Bodily wise, you are not the Body or Mind, find out what You really are then a space is there, it like turning down the volume on something you don't want to hear anymore rather than trying to stop the noise altogether... -
I'm definitely interested in trying it, just for a dose of experience that is super intense and beyond my mind and thoughts, but I don't have to be one that has already done it to know the dangers of it, its obvious and is the same with anything we as Human Beings get involved with, if there is no balance associated with it, then it can be dangerous to us, if balance and awareness is there then its okay, with psychedelics one has to be super balanced and aware as it is a very intense experience and can lead one down many roads, if you have no clarity then more than likely the road will be a rocky one... Listen to this, its about Ram Dass giving Maharaji (Enlightened master) does of Acid, on two different occasions, great lesson!

I would say a Yogi is one on the path to experience Reality in a more dedicated and serious way... Everyone is practicing Yoga whether they think they are or not. Yoga is about Union, finding out for real that we are not completely individual entities in this vast Universe, but ppl go about it in many different ways.. Desire is about wanting to be more than what You are right now, everyone has this within them, that is why they drink, smoke, have sex, use drugs, do Yoga, go to church and pray to God, climb and jump off Mountains, the point is One is trying to be Free of whatever restrictions and constraints they are feeling at the moment. There are two forces always in play in ones life, the Force of Self Preservation/Survival, with this we build up walls of self protection in many many ways, the Ego Complex and all our mental Disorders come from this, then there is the force to be absolutely Free, Unbounded, Totally One with Everything, Desire is about that part of our nature, but most try to fulfill it via the Physical aspect, accumulating more ppl, places and things as life goes by, but they still feel empty inside (see Dan Bilzerian thread Personal Development Forum), so was we grow older we naturally lose our physical abilities, I think this is natures way to guide us to the more Spiritual and Non physical aspects of what we really are, we are not anything that we have accumulated or gathered, both Body and Mind, Memories and such are Accumulated things, what we are is before all of this, don't label it, but a Yogi is one that wants to find out the answer to this and experience it within themselves as a Reality, Yoga is the method by which we can do that, a science of sort, methodology as well! -
They are Experience chasers, thinking its the real thing, no different from joining a Jesus Cult, believing Your with Jesus for real, lol... I find it interesting, the man that started this forum, a long time and experienced Psychedelic user (not saying he got nothing out of it) now doesn't and won't use it lol... what does it say about long time usage... Its also interesting to note we have long time proven methods for those serious about learning about the nature of reality but many today won't try them, I think this comes from wanting things now rather than putting in the work to find out what is real and not real, sad times indeed!

Once You identify with things You are not, the Mind will go crazy (as it has with You unfortunately) and nothing in this Universe can help You, so the problem of Identity! This is a huge problem with most all the population, we are inundated with all sorts of information/data sources, that are conflicting as well, this puts us in a major mode of confusion, first we think too much (ppl are having 50K+ thoughts a day), and those thoughts are conflicting, so it puts lots of mental stress on ppl to a high degree. So first drop all this, stop philosophizing life away, just go out and live, don't live via the thought or psychological process which is not Life at all, just recycled data your brain has collected over time, Learn how to breath right, sit right, think right, live right, calm down Your nervous system, live more in the moment rather than past or future, stop judging so much, and just be present in day to day awareness, first establish a sense of Peace, then go from there, otherwise life will become more torturous for You!

Both of these by Sadhguru, Yogi's Guide to Joy and his autobiography "More than a Life" I think like each of Us in normal Human Life, it will be a unique journey but these are good guides in some ways, Sadhguru has a saying, he wants "Undercover" Yogi's all over the place, out in the world making change by just being who they are within themselves, that is a sign of a true Yogi.., He also has a Bramachariya sect at the India Ashram that he has, one has to apply for it and be accepted into it, its a serious path to the Divine.. -

With Sadhguru it is not a "Teaching" he has said this many times, nor it is a Philosophy or Intellectual pursuit, its a Method, a Technique or Science of Sorts, where as many out there, Leo I would say as well, its more Teaching, Philosophy or Intellectual pursuit, as where is the method, I don't see it, just talking and explaining their way of understanding. Now in today's age there has to be some talking and explaining, Q&A for sure, otherwise no Interest would be there, ppl are not Aware and Sensitive/Willing enough to just sense the presence of someone in the know, so transmission of Spiritual Knowing or Power for lack of a better word is not as possible today because ppl are addicted and identified too much to Words and Intellect... Sadhguru shares : 1) Basic Life Lessons that are practical and useful for eg, Now is all there is, Past is Memory, Future is Imagination, both are very useful tools but don't Live there, Live totally NOW...Accept the Inevitability of the Moment, it is as it is, nothing can be done about it, other than Accepting or non Accepting, Accepting allows You to be open to a new possibility, non Accepting closes that door, your stuck in the past/memory... Responding vs Reacting, Responding corresponds with being Conscious/Aware, Reacting is opposite of this.. 2) Basic and Advanced Yogic practices - Shambhavi Mahamudra, Shooyna, Shakti Kriya, Complete Yogasana Course (18 weeks I think to become certified, has to be done at the main Ashram in India), Sadanapada (a 7mth stay at the Ashram in India, where one is put on a Sadhana schedule and Volunteering schedule, and time with Sadhguru and Swami's), Bramachariya opportunities (this is by appointment only, one has to apply for it and go thru a strict interview and other process to be accepted), and many other events and opportunities... 3) Consecrations, Sadhguru has done many many Consecrations, the most significant was the Dylanalinga which is a temple that has a living alive Linga(like a living Guru) that ppl can sit with and imbibe the energy and benefits that it gives... 4) Treks to Himalayas and such journeys, very significant for one on the Spiritual path.. 5) Many other courses and such that enhance one's sensitivity and willingness to progress on the path, none of this has to do with talking, philosophising and/or intellectualizing.. -
What is the significance of celibacy on the spiritual path? Sadhguru explains that celibacy is just the surface of what once came from a very deep understanding. He describes brahmacharya as an effort to organize oneself so that everything you need is within yourself – to move from being a compulsive human being to a conscious one.

The Nunchuk table tennis is fake, but Bruce was really a Phenom for sure... He was a very fast learner, show him some physical movement and the next day he was doing it better than You, he was super focused, intense and driven, he wasn't a physcial specimen when he was younger, but he made himself into One as he found his path via the Martial Arts, and super strong too for a guy his size. And of course his speed was off the charts, he used to play a trick on ppl he never met before, he would put a quarter in your hand, and tell you to close it and prevent him from grasping it, he then went for it, and the person thought they had got him, but when they opened their hand Bruce had put a dime there in place of the quarter, they had no idea, and his power in his strikes and kicks was out of this world, he would kick stunt men across a pool with a side kick when they held the kick pad for him. Lots of stories like this around..Most every Martial Artist he met, they were all impressed with him,k some of them were long time martial artist in their own right, but dropped everything when they met Bruce, one of the greats!!

Karma means My Life is My Making, without Karma no existence would be here, neither You or I or this forum. so Karma is neither Good or Bad, those are ego judgements, think more about Life Empowerment or Disempowerment, you want Empowerment right, so with a Human Being it has allot to do with Intention, if You have Disempowering Life Intentions within You on a regular basis, it will reflect in Your Life, if You have Empowering Intentions that will reflect in Your Life, its that simple.. Ego in many is Disempowering, Spirit/Consciousness/Aware is Empowering, choose where to come from and that will reflect in Your Life... -

Its not about Him. its not about him being a Guru, or Enlightened, or perfect/imperfect, flawed/flawless, its about YOU, does the stuff he shares work or not? If it works great, if not then do something else, its no shirt off his back.. Just realize, if You want to do big things in this world then you for sure will have enemies, some do not want this world to change, they want it too stay the same for a variety of reasons, Sadhguru wants it too change, so he has allot of enemies...They crucified Jesus, what did Jesus ever do to anyone that was destructive to anyone else? -
Sadhguru says most ppl that reach Enlightenment, at that same moment leave the Body, they merge with existence, oneness, absolute, only the ones that know the mechanics of Life, Masters per say, can stay on, either they create their own Karma or some other way I guess... Like Eckhart Tolle I don't think he is Enlightened, I think he is a sort of Saint, a Great Teacher, has a high level Experience (after his experience from Depression to Bliss, he didn't know what was going on, he sat around enjoying it for a few years then did some research on it, studying the various spiritual practices and methods, then came to his own conclusions, he's basic in his teaching but its very effective)..

One of the problems on the forum is everyone is making up definitions of words, now Love means accepting everyone as they are, that's not Love, that's Accepting lol. When I hear or read the word Love, I think of a feeling within Myself towards another person, place or thing, I've applied a special type of importance and significance to them and included them as a part of myself... First ask why do You want Love? Where is Love coming from? Why do You think Love is the highest, what about Devotion, Compassion, Intelligence, are these aspect of Existence not relevant or important? I really think what is happening is that people are having Grand Experiences, but without a foundational aspect already there, then applying what they are lacking in Subconsciously and making it that, Enlightenment is Love, Enlightenment is Awareness, Enlightenment is Knowing, bla bla bla... Remember these are just words and labels we Humans have created, they really don't mean anything, its us talking around things, not about the thing directly... -

A couple more... Mantra or the Science of Using Sounds, with this (why the importance of a Guru) certain sounds and how You perform them are Consecrated meaning they are like Keys to the Universe and such, if done right they can open You up in many Empowering ways, AUM is the basic sound of the Existence, repeat saying it and it vibrations coming about correctly and things start to happen, but concentration on the vibration is important! Less Discernment and Judgement, the Ego luvs to Judge, listen to it Judging all day, then create a space btwn it, as well concerning Discernment, just sense observe with Eye's Ears without Discriminating or Labelling, just See and Hear, and that will open You up in ways as well... -
Spirituality has nothing really to do with Emotions and high/lows and what Your feeling directly, Spirituality is about Experiencing and Realizing that part of Yourself that is non physical, as we are not the Body or Mind, both Body/Mind hold all ability to Suffer right? But with Joy and Bliss the road to Realization is more Easily done, Your at Ease when Joyful and Blissed out, but this has to come with a Balance, the Balance is there no identification or neediness associated with it, if there is then its not leading You to Realization of the Reality that You are.. With Bliss as a Natural Occurrence in Your Life, then "What about Me" drops, Your no longer in Survival Instinct Mode, so much of what ppl do, even though it doesn't look like it on the surface, are in Survival Instinct Mode, building walls of Self preservation around them deeper and deeper, with True Bliss Experience this is all gone, you still have common sense, Your not going to cross the street without looking both ways, but your level of Perception and Experience goes way beyond this and Life just opens up for You, everything about You increase in Profoundness and Intensity, all Your Creativity, Compassion, Intelligence, Awareness goes up tremendously, and Your touched by nothing on the outside, You enjoy a ice cream but if you never have it again it doesn't matter...

Your Welcome, I was just thinking the other day after reading some of your recent posts and in the Self Actualization Journal part of the forum, you seem to have changed allot over the last months, from very negative to very positive and empowered, which is good to see, something has happened within You now so keep it going!!
