Yes Words are quite useless in this regard... If I were to council someone on Spiritual Matters, I would not talk to them about Absolute, God, or Enlightenment, I would just allow them to have first a Stress Response Free Life, no over reacting, just conscious responding, no living past or future, only live NOW but using past and future, and Accepting all that is as it is, if one does these basic mental tricks, no stress response will happen, the Life will take over, and flow over in an intense way, then they will be on their way to the stuff we all talk about uselessly around here, lol..if they choose it, maybe they will just choose to have a Great Human Life, and be done it:) -

This "Appearances are not Actual" is an oxymoron, if it appears it is Actual, and there is something making choices, the choices are not on an Absolute level, they are on this level of existence, the ordinary plane material dual level we are functioning in, its just that Humans can experience Life beyond this, they can experience Life in the Absolute level, this is why its important to Realize I am Not the Body or Mind, when that is established then one will Realize the Absolute, but we still have a Body/Mind to use while here... -

With Ramana types as far as I know, they are top of the line, what in the end is the end of striving or seeking, which is the Desiring process, the be unbounded or Consciousness as some may call it, but for the normal human the beginning point is stable happiness or freedom of sort via the experience of it in some limited way, the simple act of being rich for many that are poor is freedom for them for a time being anyways. As Humans our basic nature is to be more than what we are right now, that leads to Ramana Type experience and Consciousness levels of Being in the end, but at the beginning we have to start from where we are at right now.. -

Yes,,, All Experience happens in One Place, within YOU, its just that most all ppl are stuck on the level of 5 sense perception tools, which our outward in mechanisms, they bring information into our brains and inside of Us, but the processing and judgement/evaluation happens within Us, if You just learn to master that, You can create any Experience You want, that is the starting point of good Yoga, get to that point of Free Will, the ability to Respond as You choose to Respond then no Stress response will happen, if no stress response happens in Your Life, how would life be Experienced? Probably allot better than it is now for those the experience constant stimulation of the Stress Response, up and down emotional lives, which most think is normal, it may be normal but its not healthy or fun/Empowering in any way... -

@Princess Arabia My interpretation of most of what You say on the Spiritual Side of things as of late is "nothing to do about nothing" to it in simple words:) -
Ishanga replied to Majed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, that is why we are not talking or communicating about anything of "Real" Substance, since this is the Spirituality forum, we cannot discuss or communicate about this on a direct level, that is only done via personal Experience, the rest as You say is all Interpretation, which for sure can be mis Interpreted and probably is, but its all we have in this sort of realm to learn about one another, at least on the basic level, higher up levels ppl can know other ppl via other ways that are more intuitive and natural without using words like we are here, in person communication is mostly body language from what I understand which is a higher up level of communication btwn ppl that what we are doing here... -

Of Course, just like You create this "Nothing to do about Nothing" Philosophy, its all self created via some sort of learning or conditioning, its just that some conditioning/learning binds us, others release us to further our Potential.. -
Ishanga replied to Majed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
He did, the "I" that comes here as an Appearance, Appearances are just another label of Human, or Physical Reality, that is why we are here, to explore and experience these Appearances.. The Point of it all, its too eventually go beyond this "I" and make it a "We" or "All", while still embodied... -
Ishanga replied to Sugarcoat's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The "Physical Reality" may have a purpose by which is to allow life as we know it on this planet to exist, ruled by the law of physics as we know it to be. But even our modern day science is saying that existence as we know it in this physical form of creation is not the whole picture, dark energy makes up something like 70% of it, and the atom as far as we know is mostly akasha or sort of empty but not empty space, filled with mostly energy fields of some sort. Now the question is why are we here as we are right now? My only explanation is that we are part of the Potentiality that exists in the Absolute, where all Potential and Possibility as well as Oneness and Completeness is, but no individuality which is needed for experience and expression to happen, which as well need a dual karmic existence to be possible too, so we are living that out this Potentiality in this physical realm, with the capability to go beyond our physicality in experience and see reality as one big Whole Connectedness, or at least as far as our Limited Body and Minds will allow...That's my crazy theory to it all lol... In the end I would not call Reality Love, as we are all deciding to make up different definitions of that word, so it makes no sense using it, same with the world God, but using the word Intelligence and saying this is what Reality is makes more sense for me, since we all have a basic understanding of what that means that is common among Us... -
Ishanga replied to Sugarcoat's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The experience of True Reality maybe Love/Bliss, but Reality as You say imo has no purpose, as where does this idea of Purpose come from? It comes from our human mind, a part of reality has purpose (to survive and live another day), but not the totality of it, as what would be the purpose of having Life as we know it, all of its diversity, with most of it suffering in some sort of way (or the ability at all to experience Suffering), and a small minority not suffering at all, what is the purpose of that? In my observations of this world today its only getting worse not better... I'd rather look at Reality as a sort of grand Intelligence, that is the only word I can find I can use, and we here on this planet as we are as Human Beings are just higher potentialities of being able to experience the Reality in a sort of Totality, most are limited for sure via their Bodies and Mind complexes and attachments to them, but we have over the thousands of years found ways to go beyond these limitations and experience Reality as it is, at least for a limited few, but from what I have researched most all of us are capable of it, if we go beyond our many attachments and unconsciousness... -
Ishanga replied to integral's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I don't know if Tolle is this extreme, like I don't think he is saying by Living Now everything is perfect. Its just a tool to use, and it is the Reality that NOW is all there is, but of course as Human Beings we have great imaginations (false future in a way) and can suffer immensely what doesn't exist which is this so called "Future" which is really just your imagination running wild, but if You know You are going to be crucified then Yeah you will have fear and dread it, but most ppl today are not in this situation, they are not about to be tortured or killed, and they are still suffering what doesn't exist a great deal, for these types the teaching of the "NOW" is important and needed imo... -
Ishanga replied to integral's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I would say Tolle and many others, are working on the level of Intellect, thoughts and thinking and understanding in that way, its basic stuff, and in this day and age more than likely is needed since ppl are addicted to thinking, thoughts, ideas and intellect, so its a starting point only, realizing You have this thing we call "Ego" and its mechanics and workings works on a basic level, then one can go further and work via the energy system and make real transformation... Tolle and others have no method for this, its mostly just talk and writing books and such, sooner or later is that is not working and one doesn't just have a realization (which can happen), then a method of sorts has to be incorporated... -
Ishanga replied to integral's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I think the "Perspectives" work but on a very subtle level, I remember reading Tolle's "New Earth" which imo is all about the Ego, it did something for me most immediately, and once that happened you can't go back, that doesn't mean I have total control over the ego but there is an awareness of it now and that in and of itself is empowering.. Same with Acceptance, most suffering is a result of not Accepting, or resisting What Is, so its a process of sorts, one has to work on it, baby steps per say, just Accept small things happening then work on bigger things, Accept Your stuck in traffic, Accept someone has died or left You, with Acceptance it is not about this is what I want, its just Accepting, for me this is a stress stopper, how can stress or anger, bitterness, frustration, suffering happen when Your in Acceptance, so it helps on that level imo... For sure we need systems to help us with all this stuff, that is why Yoga and other Eastern systems are here to do just that, we just have to apply it in our lives as we see fit and to what willingness we are going to allow it too function.. -
What is so good about having an experience that makes You think Child Abuse is okay??? This is an Awakening??

Ishanga replied to Reciprocality's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, some could, most cannot because their not very Conscious/Aware, which is a huge problem in and of itself, so its all a matter of that, how Conscious/Aware one is of their true nature, then most all identities drop, unless You Consciously want to adapt an Identity of sorts to play the game of life, but with this one can drop it in an instant, most ppl today are creating Unconscious Identities, they are not Aware of it, or in Perception of it, and therefore cannot drop it at will, so this is a form of slavery and taps into our Ego and other situations that bind us, this is all Karma in play, Karma is the residual effects of all the actions that are happening. Action is in 4 areas of our life generally, Body, Mind, Emotions and Energy actions, if Your Aware 100% of all the actions taking place in those 4 areas then Your Destiny is in Your hands, if not then your living by accident mostly...Spirituality or Beingness is about becoming more Aware in all these areas and then creating Your own Experience at Will, if its Bliss You want then You can have it, if its Misery You want you can have it, or whatever else in-between. imo this is what it basically means to be Human... If You choose the be in Bliss/Love as your Base Experience, then You can walk into any culture or situation, enjoy it fully and then walk away from it and not be drawn back or wanting to revisit it, needing it to make an experience happen or wanting to experience something since You already have that within You. But its still nice to taste an ice cream cone, or visit a place and enjoy the culture, it depends on what someone wants to do, how they want to play this game of life, some want to be alone, others want to go out and see the world... -
It depends on how Aware You are, the Intensity of Your Awareness, only if the entire planet was Lifeless, no Humans, no Animals, no plant or tree life, no insects, fish, etc, then You would be "Totally" alone, but if no Humans only were not around but all other life was here, and you were highly Aware, then it would be okay in my book... Being "Addicted" to anything is no so good, especially this modern life, its not very healthy for us and all I see everyday out in the world is ppl with their heads down in their phones, and ppl searching for outside fulfilment but I also see that in this country I live in everything is here already provided and in basic terms its a paradise of sorts, we have freedom of movement, everything is provided and there, so if this is so why are more mental health problems arising? No so good imo...

My Understanding of what You said above is solved by what Sadhguru is sharing (since You asked "How do we love beyond identity?"), one can go into any culture and enjoy it and be a part of it fully, enjoying and appreciating it immensely then leave it without a feeling of longing or needing to go back, or chasing the experience of it, which happens allot today.. This is what it means in basic form to be Human, we establish our Beingness, which is what he said in the video using colors as an analogy, it is not that I want to be Colorless, it is that I want to experience all Colors and not be totally captured by any one of them... Today ppl are identified with most everything that touches them, which in the end creates fragmented Human Beings that have no idea of who or what they are but they are going around and living a life, the result of that is what we have today, a very Crazy World imo.. -
Ishanga replied to Reciprocality's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This is a good short video by Sadhguru on Vairagya, which means being "Transparent", the idea is that You establish within Yourself Your Beingness, Your Experience of Life is determined by You and You alone, You identify with basically nothing, or with the Cosmos, this means that You go thru life untouched, in the video he uses the analogy of Colors, being Colorless, if You can do this then You are available to the Potentials in life and not stuck in a box limited by the identities You have picked up via the society/culture You live in... Vairagya to me is the basis of all Spiritual practices and has to be established first... -
This is True in most cases, not all though, like I said I did plenty of research on Chinese Martial Arts, and allot of others, I know for the most part who's who in Chinese Martial Arts, and Ralston's name never came up, but like I have been saying he does have skills for sure, if he trained allot and with the Masters he said he has then he has to have skills... and I agree that there are plenty of unknowns out there that are top level as well, when Bruce Lee was alive I bet there were a few unknowns at his level, but unknown and probably still today, my own 1st Sifu was an unknown, living in an isolated small town in Canada, but trained like a motherfucker and proved his skills a few times, but is basically unknown, he teaches and has schools but isn't high profile type person...
-
I'm telling You, I have history in this stuff, Chinese Martial Arts specifically, since the late 80's, researched a ton of it, specialized in Wing Chun, am telling You I've never heard of Ralston since I came to this forum, if he was so great I would have heard of him... No doubt he has skills, I've heard of his teachers and researched the styles he has learned, plenty of Americans went overseas to learn from these Masters, I just think he's a great promoter of himself in certain circles, not the main stream martial arts otherwise I would have heard of him before coming here...

You haven't researched enough, not going to tell You where to look or what the answer is, One has to find it for themselves for it too have value.. -

The Root of consciousness is Stillness and Silence, just like motion is routed in how Still you are, and Sound is rooted in Silence... Darkness is the root of Light, as there is more Darkness in the Universe than Light.. -

If Your trying to imply that we as a Human Race are not living up to our Potential I am with You all the way, I'm mostly talking about Potential, we can within Ourselves be very connected and One with most every living thing on the planet, at least for moments in time, if You want to live a regular life You cannot be in the experience and function, better to isolate in a cave and do it there, but You can be intouch with that sort of Experience and still function, and because of that your Behaviour and Outlook on Life is Transformed, You no longer use but give to all life as much as You can, Your naturally Blissful of Your own nature, no need to look for it outside Yourself, but you will probably still enjoy an Ice cream cone too, no problem with that.. -

What You guys are missing is the Experiential aspect of it. If I say You exist, then I say in my imagination but if I die then Your Dead, this is within MY EXPERIENCE only, it doesn't mean in objective Reality that You all are actually Dead , so the Experiential aspect is big time being overlooked here, if you add that one word in then it makes more sense, because all of our experience is only happening in one place, my experience only happens within ME, yours with YOU, if I die then in my Experience Your not longer here, when I am in deep sleep all the world disappears, but when I awake it reappears, all of this is in the context of Experience!
