@MarioGabrielJ I prefer the use of the Term Brahman myself, God has to many implications associated with it for Use in a Spiritual Context I think, Brahman is better as it doesn't refer to a "Personified" God, it refers to as what You said above, Everything and Anything.. We can't understand Brahman, but we can Experience it. How does the Absolute or Brahman experience itself? I think it creates Us, so that a game of sorts begins, so that all sorts of Situations and Experience arises out of this Game. The Game is Serious and Fun, Blissful and Suffering, and the coolest part of it all, Brahman gave Us Free Will, the Ability to be Conscious/Aware enough of Brahman (this does not mean Intellectual Understanding) that we can determine in each of our Individual Expression/Experience how to go thru this Game, is it a Blissful Game or Suffering Game, both have to exist, one cannot exist without the other, but we can choose!! When we don't choose, then we live by accident and cannot really Experience Brahman totally, so that is why Bliss is a Great Foundational Context on the Spiritual Path, it allows us to be Free From Individuality and Karma in a way, it brings us beyond the inherent need to Survive and Live on that level of Living.. When You stop looking outside for Fulfilment, You stop Extracting from "Other", and You start Sharing, Giving much more, You want to Share this Bliss with everything around You, that is where Sat Chit Ananda comes into it, Reality/Brahman is Truth, Consciousness/Awareness, Bliss, these three words basically describe Reality and its all we need to know of it I think, any further inquiry will then get Us too Intellectually stimulated and we will Lose Awareness of it totally! All of this is Experiential, without Experience then how is Brahman/God to know itself? -
Read and Listen to the Lyrics, if You don't get it, then You need TOO! Logical Song by SuperTramp! When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful A miracle, oh, it was beautiful, magical And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily Oh, joyfully, oh, playfully watching me But then they sent me away to teach me how to be sensible Logical, oh, responsible, practical Then they showed me a world where I could be so dependable Oh, clinical, oh, intellectual, cynical There are times when all the world's asleep The questions run too deep For such a simple man Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned? I know it sounds absurd Please tell me who I am I said, now, watch what you say, they'll be calling you a radical A liberal, oh, fanatical, criminal Oh, won't you sign up your name? We'd like to feel you're acceptable Respectable, oh, presentable, a vegetable Oh, take, take, take it, yeah But at night, when all the world's asleep The questions run so deep For such a simple man Won't you please (oh, won't you tell me) Please tell me what we've learned? (Can you hear me?) I know it sounds absurd (Oh, won't you tell me) please tell me who I am Who I am, who I am, who I am Ooh Hey 'Cause I was feeling so logical Yeah D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Digital Yeah, one, two, three, five Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah Ooh, it's getting unbelievable Yeah Getting, getting, yeah, yeah Uh, uh, uh, uh Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Richard Davies / Roger Hodgson

If You listen to this, its really the Enlightenment Song, not the Logical Song, the Lyrics say it All!

Here Sadhguru Describes the 5 Koshas, or Layers/Shealths that make Up a Human Being,.. What keeps it all together is the Karmic Substance, its like a Glue of sorts, Your Karma is stored in the First 3 Layers I believe, if You lose Your Body, its still in the Mind Layer, and the Energy Layer...Energy is the most subtle aspect of Physicality, Body is the most Gross aspect, once You Master the Energy aspect of Your Existence, then Your Destiny is 100% in Your hands, Karma cannot touch You know! 1) Food/Earth Body 2) Mental Body 3) Energy Body 4) Transitionary Body, phasing into Non Physical Aspect.. 5) Bliss Body, Bliss refers to the Experience of the person touching this aspect of what they are, pure Non Physical Aspect!

Most human beings are breathing somewhere between 12 to 15 times per minute. They use less than 20% of their lung capacity during normal breathing. If your lung capacity expands, the number of breaths per minute during normal breathing naturally comes down, without one controlling it. One practises it so that this type of breathing becomes normal in our daily life style . Ofcourse intense activity like running or sports activity is an exception . If we simply practise breathing like this which is also one of the part of shambhavi mahamudra , you will see your energies will divert themselves in a completely different direction.

If One is Identified and Trapped in the Mind, then there is Time and Space, that is the arena of the Mind, always Remembering and Imagining, but if You have more Intense Awareness and Consciousness, then you will not be identified with the Mind and not trapped by it, therefore Time no longer exists for You, Your Here and Now, a never ending Moment, this is very empowering but it has to be balanced, if not then Your not going to function within a Society (which is okay too). So it all depends on where one is, levels again present here too.. This is what it means to be Human, Free Will or the Ability to Respond to what is happening within You and Around You sooner or later has to be dealt with, if not one will live in fantasy's or ideologies which may lead them astray to more suffering or worse a lost and wasted Life.. -

This is quite easy to figure out and explain.. Without Perception and the Ability to Experience, then there is only the Absolute/God/Infinite/Brahman, but this is only one side of the coin.. Since that realm contains All, is One, is Complete, it holds all Potential and Possibility but there is No Perception and Experience in that exact realm, its it here though in this realm, this place, this Earth, we are the Potential and Possibility being played out, I don't know if its being played out in another way on some other planet or dimension, but it is here.. Reality is One Yes, but Perception happens on different levels, some perceive on survival levels only, animals and such, for Humans we can perceive on this level only too (as most do) but we have more potential within Us to Perceive at Higher Levels of Perception, what most would say is a higher State of Consciousness or Awareness, when One is in that state they Feel as they are One with Everything, when they are not at that level they feel Separate from Everything, so Reality is One, but we can Perceive it at all sorts of Levels of Perception, from Gross to Subtle! -

If You just for a second see a bit of the hypocrisy that Your your writing here. you jus wrote in the OP that You had a "Dream" that felt Real, then You woke Up, lol.. Its all real, the brain does not know the difference btwn something vividly imagined and a real experience, so in one way the dream is real for You Subjectively. Objectively everything is Real, but Real on certain level of Reality. In some Hinduism they say anything that is Impermanent is not Real, so Our Bodies, Our Thoughts, our Dreams, our Buildings and all that sort of stuff, anything that will deteriorate and/or Die is impermanent and therefore not Real or Reality, and in a certain way that is True in an Objective Way of viewing it, but Subjectively it is not so..So as I've always been saying, there are levels to Reality, Gross to Subtle, Your too focused on the Subtle realm, we need balance to know all of Reality and that is the goal of all Spiritual Paths and Traditions.. -

The fact of the matter is You've gone under the spell of some Ideology, what You say is half true I would say, but its not the whole story,,someday You'll wake up to it...I'm not saying I have the whole truth either, at least not experientially, but I know the theories of reality well, and its not non duality! -

lol, I'm a huge Rocky fan too, I think Rocky III has the best elements of the whole series, it has a bit of the first movie in it, and the character and all the others evolve in Rocky III which is nice to see, they who they are but better versions of it.. Besides the Rocky's I like... 1) Heat with De Niro and Pacino 2) Civil War Captain America, good action and pacing! 3) Star Trek Stuff.. 4) Bruce Lee movies, since I'm a Martial Artist by trade he influenced me allot in that way 5) Star is Born with Streisand and Kristofferson, the 70's version, my parents listened to the soundtrack always on long road trips, lol I like that music!! 6) lots of others that I can remember, anything will some good substance and not too too recent lol...

In the End its all Bullshit, the Theoretical parts, the Intellect trying to dissect Reality to a point where our mind can understand it, you can study all this shit and still experience nothing differently, Experience is all You really have.. We just have to keep in our minds the moments before our Body dies, if Your still able to have some quality of Awareness at that point, and you look back on Your Experiences from being Born to this moment of Body Death, who cares about what Theory says this or that, did You fuckin have a Good Time, did You contribute to Others, did You live beyond Sleep, Work, Eat, Shit, Procreate, repeat repeat then Die sort of situation?? All of the above Theories will take You so off course in the study of them, you will waste the most precious resource You have while here on Planet Earth, that is TIME! -

I think there is a time and place to have this sort of Realization, what You say above is for sure I think an Ego destroyer, but if we plan on staying here on Earth to do Earthly work while our Inner World is fully Awakened or Enlightened, then we need not have to destroy the Ego, just stop identifying with it. But its true, in the fundamental essence of Reality and Life, we are just speks of dust, we are here in the blink of an eye, less than that compared to the age of the Universe, so no matter what we do, it is very short lived and its true soon after Your physical death most will forget You lol, but our Ego luv's the Legacy thing and it strives for it today, the only thing to do about it is to Enjoy it to the Fullest I think... Its a very weird situation we are in as Human Beings, lots of complex but simple things going on, opportunities galore are here for us to reach unseen Potentials, lots of pitfalls too. I agree God/Absolute is all about Intelligence of a sort that we know little of, unless Your Awareness is super high, everything is really a Miracle of sorts, but we take it for granted mostly, so strange this place called Earth and everything in it! -

I think nowadays Martial Arts is mostly about Ego, when I was training I was truly interested in learning the Art I was learning, it just fascinated me that much that I practiced and trained allot like almost full time for years at a time, it consumed me, then it subsided after I gained some skills, but I'm no "Fighter", i know how to fight but I don't have the natural Killer Instinct that is needed to really finish someone off, unless of course I was protecting family and such things.. Back in the day though, hundreds or thousands of years ago, it was more about survival and waring times, things needed to be developed and done to survive another day, in the east they took up differently, than the west for sure, fighting arts developed as a Way of Life, in the west it was not this way, it probably has something to do with how they view life compared to Us here... -
Ishanga replied to Keryo Koffa's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes Totally, Ignorance rules... Sadhguru actually says we should stay ignorant in a way, as knowledge is limited, but Ignorance is unlimited, but to do this we have to Experience Life as a game or Leela, and to play it Joyfully no matter what is happening around Us, that means establishing our Bliss/Being first then going out and performing action and having this or that come as a result! -

That's what I mean, this is most a forum about Spirituality, Self Improvement and such, its good that Leo put other Sub Forums on it too, so things can be discussed and learned, but to be posting and drawn into the Trump incident because it is "Drama" is anti everything that we are trying to do in Spirituality and Self Improvement or Awareness, even Leo himself is posting like mad on that thing, its nuts, its a complete drama shit show, the whole world it caught up in it, giving opinions and theories on what happened and why it happened, this is the crazy that I am talking about. I just bring it up as an Example, I'm not going on that sub thread or anything to check it out, but on other sites it pops up infront of me so it unavoidable in a way the crazy that is happening, its very sad indeed... -
Ishanga replied to Keryo Koffa's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
We all have to ask ourselves why we do what we do? For eg...Why are so many ppl posting on the Social/Political forum under the "Trump got Shot" thread? Its over 14.000 view and such, why is that such a big thing and drawing so much attention, each person involved with that thread should ask themselves... So what he gets shot and whatever, 50% of the ppl hate him, the other 50% luv him, i don't care about it, both him and Biden are bad choices, maybe it would be good if one of them would be taken out so someone with some sanity can take over, not that I am approving that being done by violence which is not acceptable, but in other ways someone has to do something! But why are You and any of Us posting here? I post here because I have no one else to discuss these topics with, and it challenges my Ego, and my understanding of things to read others perpectives and debate, and I like to share so that if someone gets something out of it, this world I am in and involved with becomes a better place because right now its not such a great place in many ways... -

Ishanga replied to Wizardking's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Its a common phase I think, I went thru that too, sourcing all I could to digest the information, I thought that flooding my mind with this sort of information will help the process along and channel my thoughts towards "Enlightenment" thinking loops, it works in the beginning, but sooner or later we have to drop this and go via the energetic route and fix that aspect, without that nothing really changes, you cannot really stop the mind from what it is doing, as the mind is meant to do just that, think and identify and figure things out, the content of the Mind is not in your control, but if You have a space btwn what is You and what is not You (Body/Mind complex) then the mind is no longer a problem. Link to Isha Kriya the whole process here... -
Ishanga replied to Keryo Koffa's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The line btwn Sanity and Insanity is very very thin, I personally think most of the ppl in a way are very insane, I look around and see how we have structured our society and it seems very insane, as it is promoting chaos and lost souls, and I'm totally involved with it, but there is a space created btwn it and me, the insanity and chaos part anyways... I think using psychedelics can be dangerous when playing this game, one has to be very stable naturally in normal state to play that game, good Luck Man!! -
Ishanga replied to Ishanga's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, I agree, these practices, as with Yoga, have been around forever, Adam talks about this, he explains it as Mystical Path or Meditative Path, and the Shamanic Path, Meditative path is slower but more stable, you won't fall backwards when climbing the steps, the Shamanic path brings You right there, but You fall back,, In my opinion one should follow the Meditative path first, build a very solid foundation of Well Being and Awareness, then if they want to try some Psychedelics to see the finish line per say:) -
Ishanga replied to Ishanga's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Adam talking about some tips about how to get your mind and body in the right state so that you can meditate and quiet the brain chatter... This is simple stuff, we neglect it or take it for granted but its the simple things done right that make a huge difference in Your Life, and it gets You out of Your Head space which many of Us are trapped in, just breathing right makes a huge difference, but everyone thinks they know how to breath right which they don't!! Adam is offering Free Online Teaching of Chi Kung/Qi Gong here --> Join our FREE online Qi Gong Classes https://www.adamchanqigong.com -
Ishanga replied to Keryo Koffa's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I would slightly differ on this, we are not so different from One Another, that is a huge myth, yes we have different likes and dislikes, and some genetic differences, but most everyone is addicted to their phones, social media, drama and bullshit, and we all breath, bleed, think, dream, sleep, wake up, eat and a million other things that are exactly the same... Just learn to sit right, breath right, think right, settle ones emotions which we all have, we all have desire, like/dislikes, love and hates and such, so we are very much alike not the opposite.. there are already paths available that align with the differeing personalities out there, find one, try a few and find one that matches your karmic makeup and personality and stick to it.., -
Ishanga replied to Wizardking's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Wizardking Listen, this is a common huge problem in the world, we are so identified with our Mind, Thoughts, Thinking, Intellect that it is making us Nuts! Do not try to "Understand" Spiritual ideas and concepts, as Spirituality is not a Concept or Ideology, its that simple...because You and most everyone else is trying to "Understand" it fucks them up, just work on simple things, first settle Your emotional stability, become Peaceful of Your own nature, Accept Now as it is, Live Now absolutely, Respond to Now, and for sure keep up with your Meditation, try Isha Kriya its 12 min and is very powerful.. Drop all thinking and analysing of what anyone says, Leo is too much intellectualizing of it all, drop all that stuff and just create Peace within, then Your on Your Way..
