Most all of them say the samething, what they say is not important, that is just circus, what Sadhguru says, Osho says, Krishnamurti says, its all circus, it is just that some share okay methods, some share no methods, some share Awesome methods, the indivudal reading or watching them, has to decided what to do with it, use the method, try it out then see what happens, don't be concerned with the personality of Sadhguru, Osho, Krishnamurti or whomever, just use the methods, see the results, decide what to do next, is it working for You for Your intentions, needs and wants/desires or not... -

She'll say its a projection You are placing upon Her, and that it means nothing to Her, but there is anger in her statement that is easily seen, why the anger? Why the responses in the first place, why the 10,000+ posts, replies, threads and participation if nothing is here, nothing is being done, no one is here to do anything??? My beef is that this sort of understanding is dangerous, ppl can do what they want in their own personal lives, I don't care, but this is a public forum, ppl read all of what we share, when they read that sort of stuff, its dangerous, they don't even see the anger or suffering in their own lives, don't give meaning to it, there is no meaning in the first place but the posting continues, so its egoic, narcissistic and anti Spiritual in nature, but you cannot tell them that or care what they say because if You then You fall into the same trap they are in, ego rises and belief identity systems form then we are just as off base away from Truth as they are... -

Yes so true! Duality is not opposites, just both things existing at the sametime, if Love is created and exists then Hate has to exist and visa versa, its a circle not a separate entity or thing, its just as Humans we can chose to Love or Hate as an example, and this applies to anything, you can see or experience the impersonal God or the Personal God as he says, so that is one of our basic Capabilities, choice or Free Will in this regard... The problem happens when You have absolutist (the non dualist here) or the atheist (dualists, materialist, egoic types), both exist, we have access to both, deny one or the other, then your off base and half right half wrong, which causes suffering and further delay in knowing Truth as it is!! -

Absolute/God/Brahma/Shiva, if we label it a realm of sorts (language fails miserably in this regard, English anyways) has no qualities, attributes, Experience or Expression, its just a place of Oneness, Completeness, Potential and Possibility, via that everything and anything has to exist somewhere, here on this plane (this is not a realm of Absolute), we have duality, physicality, karma (residual result of all actions performed, cause/effect,,) in play, as Humans we have the most access to be Consciously Aware via Experience of Absolute, when Your Intouch with it, Your Blissful of Your own nature. So since Absolute is Potential and Possibility, we are here to play out this game in Creation (Creation has within it an ingrained Intelligence, some of it is memory/karmic based, some of it is not, its a Grand Intelligence that is totally free from Memory and Karma, and its creative and alive and now Based) so that Absolute can know itself in trillions of ways, via Experience and Expression.. -
First You have to dis identify with Intellect, which is a Survival Mechanism of sorts, its controlled by Your Identity, which is What You think You are? The foundation of this is Memory, all sorts of Memory (or Karma, Karma means Action, its the residual result of the action creating imprints upon the foundational aspects that make You/Us who we are, its in 4 areas, Body. Mind, Emotion and Energy, each moment there is action going on in these 4 areas, how conscious are You of these actions and their imprints being created) is within You, its like the Software in Your computer, it allows the hardware (Body/Brain/Mind) to function, no Memory/Karma, no ability to have a Body or Mind or Experience or Expression.. The other aspect of the MInd is Chitta or Consciousness, the Grand Intelligence that makes all Creation possible (Absolute/God/Brahma/Shiva), most ppl are not intouch with this aspect of who they are, they are only intouch with Intellect, which gets its data from the 5 senses, Chitta/Consciousness is an Intelligence within You that is not based on Memory, its creative, responsive and present moment Awareness, to get intouch with this certain practices and such are done, this raises Your Energetic levels so that certain dimensions within You that are now unexperienced come into Your Experience, then You gain Clarity, which is anti Belief, You just see things as they are, not thru the filter of Intellect, Memory and Judgement, just as they are, now Life is lived at Ease, Your Peaceful/Blissful of Your own nature, and other Potentials in Life naturally open Up.. Belief blinds You, it makes You conclude about Life, this puts You in a box, then Your limited in Clarity, no clarity but lots of Confidence but its false Confidence and not really useful other than in Survival mode... As well Your Belief are picked up generally, thru what others say, have taught You, family traditions, cultural traditions and ways of doing things, religions and teachings and such, these only work up to a certain level, if You want full access to Life Potentials, You have to drop what anyone says, find out for yourself what life is about and how far You can go with it...

Without Ego, no Uniqueness happens, without Uniqueness, Intelligence is not fully Expressed, Absolute is Absolute Intelligence in regards to Its ability to Create and Be Creative, this is in place so it can Experience itself, no Experience means no Life Expression, Life is Absolute being Expressed and Experienced, so it can know itself.. Breaking this down to its most fundamental, Karma/Cause&Effect has to happen to have all of this in place, but Karma is the box that keeps the Life under Expressed, to deal with Karma we need Present Moment Awareness as the Primary, this is anti memory/imagination, it creates Intensity in one's Experience, and we need Acceptance so Resistance is gone, Resistance is the source of all Stress and Suffering (Anger, Depression, Anxiety, Frustration, Shame, etc), once Stress is not possible, Acceptance is natural. Then Life is lived at Ease, Ego and Self have a space created, You live via the Experience of the True Self, use the Ego mask when needed, drop it when not needed, and can naturally Respond to Life as You see fit, this is Free Will in action, which once again circles around to Absolute getting to Experience itself in Trillions of Ways... -

@Kuba Powiertowski Freedom is available to all of Us, real Freedom is no Entanglement, Your Transparent, Your totally involved with What Is, and the Situation, and the People within each Moment but when the Moment passes, things change, You don't dwell on it, or crave it, and Your Blissful of Your Own Nature, then Your Free, because Suffering is not possible, this is first Base, the Foundation built, "What about Me" is gone, Ego there but space created, no longer a slave to it, your the Master, then Life Opens up, so Freedom is just a bunch of Foundational things set up in Your Experience, to allow all Potentials to come to You Naturally! -

This is true, certain ppl at certain stages of their life, via what is happening in the system, emotionally, hormonally, energetically etc, have a harder time doing certain things, this is general in nature, if Your physical energy is high (like it was for me when young, I was super hyperactive, couldn't sit still for a moment) then sitting still is very hard, but there is Sadhana for those types as well as the opposite types, that is why Sadhana is varied and the Guru can help determine what is required for that particular person and personalize it for them.. Balance is key, its not about sitting 24/7, that is not healthy for the most part, its about Balance.. Research if You already haven't the 8 Limb Yoga or Ashtanga Yoga, its lays it all out step by step how to do Sadhana and what comes first then second then so forth!! -
Ishanga replied to r0ckyreed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Meditation is the wrong word to use, Sadhana is much better, its more specific in nature, it means Spiritual Practice or Technique/Method, by which there are many, but they are time tested, but for them to work belief is not needed, just willingness to try and stay with it for periods of time.. Anything can be helpful, long walks in nature are meditative in nature, that means You feel at Ease in nature because the ambiance is there, nature is giving itself to You, but its limited, walking or being in nature will not bring You to the Ultimate, so Your Intentions as well play a role.. Willingness and Intentions are super important, find out what You want to do, find the method that will do it for You and then DO IT! Doing it on Your own is not impossible, just highly unlikely, like they say why reinvent the wheel, its already been invented just use it!! -
I think there are a few reasons for this. First, on a super fundamental Spiritual level, each of Us is allowing Absolute/God/Brahma to Experience itself, if all of Us were exactly the same then that would be a very limited way for Absolute to Experience itself, to make it unlimited, each of Us is Unique in certain ways, we at the sametime are very similar to one another, we share lots of qualities and capabilities, its in our Experience that we differ and how we interpret that Experience as well that makes each of Us Unique. The problem is with Identification and Ego getting to strongly involved and Identified, via that we build walls around ourselves (first physically, then psychologically/emotionally), this is basically a survival mechanism that has transcended to our modern day situation, so rather than building actual protection situations, save caves, weapons, having tons of kids to pass along our dna, etc, we think of ourselves, project ourselves as superior/inferior to one another, experience extreme Exclusiveness and Separation from one another and nature/universe, so now the walls are more mental and psychological in nature rather than physical in nature.. Spiritual pursuit is the antidote to all of this, but with this pursuit You need to drop the identification with Ego, and develop a Cosmic Identity that is Inclusive in Experience and allows You to be One with Everyone (just like You are now with family, friends and small social circles) and Every Living Thing in Existence, much different Experience and therefore consequence compared to how most are living today with Exclusiveness as the primary!

I completely Agree here.. Oneness comes via our Individual Experience, we have Individual Bodies and Minds, giving us Individual Experiences at a certain level of Existence, we can at the Ultimate Edge of the Scale Experience Complete Oneness with Everything, no Separation is felt or there, but this is on the Experiential Level within each Individuals Capability, there are still Individuals, with separate Body and Mind complexes that exist on the Physical level which is a part of the Absolute. We are the Absolute, but we have Bodies and Minds to deal with, that seems to be what most everyone is forgetting, so we are not "Totally" Absolute, if we were we would not be able to Realize it since there is no Body or Mind to Experience it, here on this plane and realm there Is! Existence goes from Gross to Subtle, or Subtle to Gross, there are levels and layers to Everything..If one ignores this Truth then they will Suffer for sure... -

JavFly is correct, and I can confirm this not only in regards to Yoga and Spirituality and how doing things right vs wrong makes a big difference, it is the same in Martial Arts, there are certain ways in which the Human Body works best, how one sits, walks, breaths, eats, moves their eyes, and hands and limbs, etc etc makes big differences in life, it is just that ppl do not pay enough or any attention to these small details but in the end everything is in the details.. Yoga is the Science of this, its over 80K yrs old, doing the practices correctly from Asanas to Very strict and detailed Breathing and Pranayama will get You the results and quickly, but one has to be open to It.. One can chose to Realize what Life is about within this Life span or have it take many Life Spans, the choice is up to You!! Here Sadhguru demonstrates the simple difference btwn positioning the palms in an upward facing position vs downward facing position, how many times a day are you positioning Your hands in these ways and how Aware are You of it and the consequences of it??? Probably no Awareness at all, that is why most ppl are not even close to any sort of Realization of what Life is and how to make it Incredible! -
Ishanga replied to r0ckyreed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@r0ckyreed With Sitting Meditation, You could say its the most serious sort of Sadhana one can do, the other ones are serious too but not in the same way. Like Temples, not all Temples are meant for the same purpose, its the same with certain Sadhanas and Meditations, some have specific goals, general wellbeing, clearing of the chakra paths and sushumna, prana intensity, Kundalini activation, etc etc, so Sitting Meditations/Sadhana are for the serious practitioner, that wants to go all the way, total Liberation and Moksha, Annihilation of Individuality and Union with Absolute, the activities You mentioned are not for this, they are for General Wellbeing, maintaining the Body, Mind, and Human aspect of what You are, Pleasure and Enjoyment, much different than wanting Enlightenment and Liberation/Moksha... -
Sadhguru explains it well here, topics discussed: - Don't fall into the trap of weekend Enlightenment retreats, then being declared Enlightened by someone else, You won't miss it if it happens to You! - Psychedelic usage and experience, it can give one a glimpse of Oneness, Absolute and the Reality, but it fades away after, this is not Enlightenment, Enlightenment is not a Doing, its a Realization that happens once the atmosphere is set up so that it flowers and blossoms naturally, that is where the work/sadhana is, in setting up the Environment. - there are 4 types of Yoga, Jnana Yoga (Yoga of Intellect), Bhakti Yoga (Yoga of Devotion/Emotion), Karma Yoga (Yoga of Action),. Kriya Yoga (Yoga of Internal Energies), each participant of each of these disciplines thinks the others are rubbish, but once You realize that these are just 4 aspects of who You are, Head, Heart, Body and Energy and they all come together and are aligned with one another, then things line up and Enlightenment is a natural consequence!

You'll find that there are many video's where he explains what Enlightenment is, none of them are of the same message, so my take away is not to define it in strict terms.. For me Enlightenment is when in Embodied form, You realize and experience life beyond this Embodiment, beyond this Body/Mind/Ego complex that brings about a sense of Individuality and Exclusiveness, You realize everything is Inclusive, One, Complete, via that a Great Sense of Bliss is with You always, You feel pain still, cry when loved ones are hurt or die, but You are still in Bliss, Bliss is not an Emotion, but one of the Greatest Experiences one can have within themselves, so Bliss is a fundamental aspect of Enlightenment, as is Truth and Consciousness... I don't know who he thinks is Enlightened, I don't think he thinks there are many... All he says about himself is that he knows the ultimate nature of this Human Mechanism, from its origins to its end, and via that he can relate it to others since they are the same sort of life as he is.. I don't think he has directly claimed to be enlightened, all he says in that regard is why are you concerned about what is happening with him, and to not judge him as either this or that, and to not look up or down upon anyone, just see them and recognize them as they are now.. As to what he is sharing, if You use it and it works great, if it doesn't work then drop it and move on to something else, I think this is a great way to look at it and is good advice! For sure he has something going on that is not the norm, that cannot be denied, he's proven it on a physical level (decades of endless work, travel, not missing meeting and events, putting his life at risk (see save soil and other events over the years), and millions of testimonies that he is the real deal), so if that is not enough credibility then what is?? Alot of this has to do with Credibility, one can say so and so is not Enlightened, or is Enlightened, but what credibility do they have? Sadhguru has more Credibility than most anyone on the planet when it comes to Spiritual matters, so it doesn't matter what anyone one individual thinks of him, he doesn't care, will go on doing what he is doing regardless... -
