That's true, there's a huge difference btwn an Enlightened person, a Saint, a Yogi and a Guru, as his name respresent a Sadhguru, which means he's an uneducated Guru (his knowing is not from Scripture or a lineage or a teaching, its from Inner Knowing), so yes one can say he is not Enlightened, he is above that classification!

Good Sharing, without Isha and Sadhguru I don't know how my life would be today! What they have shared is invaluable to Me and most everyone that uses it!! The main thing too is that Sadhguru actually offers a method, its not about all the talking and so called Teaching, he says frequently that he is not sharing a Teaching, but a method.. I don't know what the others share method wise, Tolle, or Spira, or Leo other that using psychedelics, which imo are dangerous if used as the sole method...

There is Basic Awareness via the 5 senses, yes they don't tell Us Everything, every little detail but they tell Us enough to allow us to live another day, and if Our Thinking Process was not so identified with they would be enhanced for each individual, almost as good as dogs or cats when it comes to smell, sight and hearing.. Since our neurological system is the most complex and integrated that too allows us a sense of Awareness that most living things do not have.. Then there is Spiritual Awareness which is not via the 5 senses, it is in this area that they say Awareness is Vast, because now Your not just Aware of the Physical realm but the Spiritual One which is everything that is non physical in nature.. You are made up of 5 Bodies, Physical, Mental, Energy, Etheric, Bliss Body, each one is more subtle than the previous one, Energy is the most subtle on the physical side, after that the Etheric is half physical half non physical, Bliss Body is not physical in nature.. So if Your intouch with those last 3 to a high degree, Your Awareness is the size of the Universe!

Yes agreed! There is "something" because its a Possibility.. Taking out all the esoteric words and religious languages and such, if You look at what God is supposed to represent, it reps Potential and Possibility. We are here to play out this game of Potential and Possibility via Existence coming forth, and Experience being possible, and its within a certain sort of Rules paradigm or game, with our set of physics and limitations, maybe/probably there are other places in the universe or other realms where others ways of existence (non carbon) are set up and another sort of "game" is being played, but in the end its all about Potentials/Possibilities coming to life and Experiences being born within an entity of sorts... Here there are all sorts of factors at play, Karma, Duality, Conditioning, Cultures, General Intelligence, Creativity, Ego's, all of this are various degrees and intensities for each entity or individual form.. As well, God/Absolute wants to Experience itself, this is not possible if Experience is not present, so that is how I would say it and understand it!

There are no "problems" in life, just situations! If You freak out and act compulsively, reacting per say, then Your intelligence to get thru the Situation is reduced, but if Your bliss or peace is not affected, your clarity is still there, Your Blissful no matter what, then Your intelligence is always there, that is the teaching, it makes sense!

I think You don't know what he is teaching really! I've studied this man for over a decade now, been in his presence a few times as I've stated.. He is not promising Enlightenment for everyone that follows him or uses his methods, if anything he is saying that at the least You will have a Peaceful Experience naturally! To join the Brahmachari program at Isha, there is a thorough interviewing process, hundreds apply each year, they are not allowing everyone to join it, and its free as far as I know, this is for serious Spiritual practitioners that want to go all the way in this life time, for sure they are doing different Sadhana and Practices that most others are doing, and their picky about who is involved with it, so if he is a "conman" and out to get Your money what is this all about? Also, why spend money on ashrams and temples and statues? Why not just bank all the money coming in for himself, why spend it on that?? He's a Guru for our times, he's set himself up this way, it seems to be working as many are interested and using his methods... At the 3min mark someone asks about liberation, he says that one has to basically set up the right atmosphere for that too happen, the right atmosphere is a Peaceful/Blissful Experience naturally arising for You, if he's selling anything it is that!

First comes the Giving, only us Humans take, we take on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and energetic, but the Giving has to come first, we have too naturally come to a place and experience of Giving, this is what Devotional practice or Experience is, is about being Devoid of Self, pure Giving, and via that one has the Sweetest Experiences naturally, no drugs or any else happening, Taking becomes disempowering if done via the Mind, with all of its mis identifications, then taking becomes unnatural, its becomes egoic and narcissistic, its only about Me and Taking from Everything and other, no giving at all, that is the state of most on various levels of intensity today because the culture promotes it to keep the money coming in! Consciousness is not truly Empty, is Full of Everything, Consciousness meaning the Foundation for Existence and Creation, the super intelligence that is present in everything, if Your in a state one can witness it, I'm sure You have, its inherent within everything this super intelligence, is just our survival instinct takes over and we don't recognize it, but its there, that is pure Giving and Full not empty imo!

Glad You are in this sort of place, its good we have more like You in this sort of Experience!! Reality is neither hurtful or grateful, Reality or Nature is all giving, if You look at this Earth what is is doing everyday? Its Giving, same with the Sun and everything else, it just gives gives and gives some more, that is how we should be, but if Your suffering it, via being somehow "Hurt" or depressed, then You won't give anything, You will take.. So that is up to each of Us, to experience the Giving and be Giving, its our Free Will, we can choose to Give or Take..but reality has no Free Will, it just gives!

America is "anti Civilization", its more of a Game Civilization, where there are Game Masters and participants, the whole point of the game is Money... Money rules the world now because American Culture is taking over, with Money there are way more losers than winners, hence the wealth gap that is growing every year, yes if Your inventive and innovative You could become a million or billionaire, but its highly unlikely, the only good thing about America is its innovation, otherwise its just a game environment with way more losers than winners!

Humans exist, because we are a possibility to be explored, there is a potential within Us that no other life form on this planet has, so we explore it, its a game of sorts, "Can You realize what You are?" sort of game.. The body comes from the Earth, the food You eat, no food no body, so Body is Earth, and it goes back to the Earth at physical death, what You are is not this, You are what was there before You accumulated all that food...

Every group in society, this place could be classified as a cult, cult is not always bad, its just the bad stuff gets publicity because it causes Drama in ppl, which sells tickets and products on the news, ppl luv drama as it makes their hearts beat a bit faster... They are more a sect as Carl said, not a cult, they did their thing, if your not interested they leave You alone, so if Your interested go for it, if not leave it behind, don't over think it...

@Wintermute For Me, before I discovered Sadhguru, I was very into "Self Help" or "Self Improvement" if You could call it that, ppl like Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy and many other, read many books on it, then I discovered Tolle's Book New Earth, and read it and it changed everything, its basically a book about Ego, and when You recognize Your Ego, You can't go back. When I watched Tolle on Youtube, he was good but a bit boring then a suggestion for a Sadhguru vid came up and I watched it and that was it, he just had so much clarity about what he was talking about, so I watched more and found more clarity in what he said, so that was a sort of transformation.. When I did the basic practice after a couple of weeks I did feel a change, then after doing the online IE course there was more change, then I did an in person with Sadhguru in 2012 and was initiated into Shambhavi Mahamudra, and after that practice within a couple of weeks I was feeling very happy, very accepting of things and such, so it was profound... I think what happens is we get used to it, and that is what he talks about, Humans never want to be in a box or situation very long, we get used to things very fast and always want to expand and "Be more than what we are right Now". I don't watch many of his vids anymore since I deep investigated all of what he offers online already, once in awhile I review the inner engineering material and such, he provides lots for newbies and advanced practitioners, but the basics are this, set up an Experience of min Peacefulness within, then all will happen naturally, the accepting, the responding, the living NOW, this is not rocket science, we have a tendency to complicate things in life, its pretty simple if Your Blissful of Your own nature (this is not the goal of Spirituality, just the foundation), then You will naturally be inclined to Enlightenment!

The thing is we learn super fast, it shouldn't take thousands of years to figure this out, the problem is we are still cavemen when it comes to how Conscious we are... Once the Consciousness problem is dealt with, our society can/will be much better, problem is we may not make it to that point, time is crucial... I look at it this way, there is enough resources so know one has to starve, or go homeless or be on the street, and there is enough food produced for everyone in the world, there is enough land for everyone to have their space if need be, so why are we at war with one another always? Its a Consciousness problem plain and simple, that is the only thing that has not developed since day one of humanity, everything else has, but another problem is that in today's day and age we can destroy the entire planet, before we couldn't, so know we are too empowered without the proper levels of Consciousness in place. We could do some much better but we aren't and by the way it looks we won't be anytime soon!

Thanks for Your reply! I think it affects Me allot because I have to deal with the crazies all the time in my daily life, so its hard to just let it go at times.. When home I don't let it bug me, and I think living in a big city like Toronto makes it worse since its so crowded and crazy here lol..And I agree, I think of this all the time, we in all reality have it pretty good, compared to how it was like in the past and in other places in the world, I will focus more on that in the future:)

The NOW is all that exists Yes, but the NOW is built upon the past Actions, this is basic Karmic Theory. The Past does not Exist NOW, but it did exist and lays the foundation for all things to happen, the future does not exist and will never exist, only in the mind/imagination realm does it exist, when the future comes it comes into the NOW, but only the Human can plan for the future via their Imagination, which is a gift of sorts., The key is to not let what does not exist affect Your NOW, most ppl suffer from this, they get depressed or bitter/angry/upset about the past or anxious/fearful of the future, both of which don't exist, this is the basic insanity of the world.. but there is cure!

keep drinking the kool aid, see where You are in another year or two, or take charge make changes and see what happens.. These ideologies of nothing is happening, no one is here, everything is imaginary, a very tiny part of it is truth, your simple judgements, ideas about ppl and things maybe untrue, but ppl exist, other ppl exist, reality, the earth, the galaxy, universe, it exists, deny it and then suffering happens because Your denying basic existence. Ppl deny others, then go on and talking about broken relationships and/or wishing "Others" well, its completely ridiculous and crazy...

that's sad for You, Your missing out! and You will continue to suffer and live a low potential in life is that is what You actually think/believe!

Free Will has to exist because its a Possibility, just because You and many other don't access it doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't possible, its just a matter of exploring it.. Free Will in the case means "How You want to Experience Life"

No, we have Free Will, most do not engage with it, Even those that are brought in hell holes have Free Will, read Victor Frankl, he's one example, but the society and power players do not want us to know this, which is why ppl living the so called "Dream" are suffering that too.. Its just a matter of knowing how to access it, which is why we have methods to do this, but its super hard today with all the conditioning and bad habits ppl have, but it is totally possible in most all situations, of course if your being tortured You will Suffering but most ppl are suffering via their own unawareness, not because someone is torturing them or putting a war on their doorstep!

Absolute needs a way to experience itself, it can't in the realm that it exists, so here we are, living this sort of life out of Trillions of other Potentials, so that in the End Absolute can know itself, for that too happen an Experience of Forgetfulness has to take place, we think we are separate from everything else, this is the game board being set up, its up to YOU to figure out the way out and go beyond this basic game and live life to the fullest, Absolute gave us that at the minimum..

This "God" has nothing to do with whether Your Life is mediocre or suffering, that is up to You, that is why YOU are here, if You lay blame on another entity or person, place or thing, then You lacking Response Ability, or Free Will, and You will always be mediocre and suffer.. We (Human Beings) as a fundamental are here to live to our highest possibility and potential, for that too happen You have to engage Your Born right and capability of Free Will, the Will to determine how You want to Experience Life, if You don't do this as a fundamental (like learning how to read, write, do basic math and survival processes) then its tragic, because Your miss out on the basic reason why You are here, and its worse if You lay blame on another thing outside of Yourself.. At the very least live Peacefully within, after that see what happens in regards to Spiritual Enlightenment..

Most of the ppl of the world have this issue, and a mental health issue, just look around and see how ppl are acting and behaving, the ppl of the world are heavily brainwashed, heavily unAware, UnConscious, which is why we have what we have today in this world.. Ppl make up stories in their head either because the mind is on autopilot, combined with egoic identification and such, it makes up stories, or its a drama play too feel alive, either way its a form of insanity, we all have it, I have it, most all do, its just a matter of how Aware are You of it, the more Awareness You have the less it will affect You and where You want to go in Life...

To facilitate what, an exploration of American Indian culture, You think this is a leisure trip?? I may be a 30K bike, would You rather he take a cheaper one, get in an accident and die or be seriously injured? What would You do if You plan was to do a trip like this and expose to many American Indian culture, how would You do it safely... Your looking from afar, making assumptions and projecting, no credibility at all,,, I only respond as others may read this and get distracted from a True path that works!
