For sure effort and intent is needed. What I meant by playing the game is that life is a sort of game, when You establish Your BEINGNESS, which is based allot on our present Moment Awareness and Intensity, then Beingness is established, then life becomes a game, and with that the need to bingwatch, fastfood, what is happening in the society and the drama games is lessened to a large degree... -

Thought to share this here, Sadhguru talking about Oja's, subtle Energy fields that we all have within and around Us, and how to enhance them with Yogic practices, this talk is from 2002! He says the amount and quality of your Oja's determines many things in Your life, like the intensity of Your Presence, and how ppl can feel it around You! Very Interesting stuff!! -

Yes, if You "Understand" then You will Embody it that is that.. States are the 1st priority of You really want to Know what is Reality, then Understanding comes with it, but Understanding is limited for sure as "What are You trying to Understand?". As SJV said in the poster, with Kriya You get to know the nuts and bolts of Existence, I think this is Understanding right? Some may put that primary, but for Me State of BEING is primary, get that down so that naturally Your intouch with Truth and Reality/God/Absolute then Your there, understanding wise and other wise.. From what I know, to be Enlightened doesn't mean all knowing either, there are levels to it... The problem with Psychedelic use, especially for those that have little to no experience with Spirituality, when they have a "Grand Experience" there is fear attached to it in the beginning and maybe Bliss and Completeness experience at the end, they come out of it wanting it again and again with no real insight that produces lasting change in their lives, its too quick of a uprising in Experience if You ask Me, they then "Experience" chase it, just for the experience alone, and many times think this is the only way, when it is not the only way to have Grand Experiences. The key is permanent change, which happens more safely imo with more traditional practices like Yoga or Daoism and such.. Just see on the psychedelic forum that one guy is experience chasing for sure, addicted already, this is no good -

Yes, there are layers upon layers of Subtlety too be discovered, Kriya it seems is one of the few paths that allow one to really have a true Knowing, pretty cool in my book! -

No, nothing to do with derailing, the back and forth just creates more separation over time the more it happens, and in the end the debates mean little, its forgotten soon afterwards, but the ego's get strengthened for sure, this is not so good for a Spiritual Seeker! -

When You had Your psychedelic experience and then said here "I am God", that is all that matters okay in the end, I may not agree with how You came to that experience, at least You had it for real... After the fact, all the sharing and back and forth (same with Buddha, Jesus, whomever enlightened being) with this and that being said and shared and opinions stated, it really means nothing, tomorrow it is forgotten, if not forgotten the most it does is inspire maybe, but You have the memory of being GOD, go with that alone, imbibe it and make so its a natural experience for You each day, and forget about the sharing and opinions afterward, that is the most important aspect! -
This is the problem with the majority being Unconscious! Back even 600yrs the avg person could be unconscious and nothing would happen from it, they would only harm themselves and maybe a few ppl that around them, today we are so much more empowered on all levels, no one should be worth billions of dollars never mind 400 billion or a trillion, its too much and since they are mostly unconscious (their probably at a higher level though than the avg person) things of this nature like in the OP mentioned happen. Unconsciousness in Humans is responsible for every war, every terror act, slavery and the majority of the suffering humans suffer from today, the solution of course is raising of Human Consciousness, and its not really that hard since ppl have been doing this for thousands of years, we have time tested methods for this, its so simple lol! But ppl luv security and building walls up around themselves and protecting it, another result of Unconsciousness!

Hate is poison for us, is it not? Love, as I said in my post, Love in this context is an Intense Sweet Emotional experience for You within Yourself, its not about the "Other". Our society says love is about the other, but that is more of an exchange or agreement/contract, I do this for You, You do this for Me and all is well.. This is not love really, is about procreation and sex/pleasure and extracting from the Other... If Your Loving within Yourself and someone attacks You on whatever level, how would you respond you think? I would leave the scene, and not let it try to wound me anymore, but with no suffering it.. Enlightened ppl still feel pain, but suffering is not possible for them imo! -

More examples above of why Spiritual discussion, like Political ones, goes really nowhere, its fine in the beginning stages, since we are very intellectually identified, we luv words and chats and communication, but its based on logic, Reality is not based on logic...I'm guilty of this too!! -

I would say this is not so true, ppl can and have felt Bliss all the time when they have experienced their true nature, call it God or whatever.. Ppl can do amazing things, some ppl have lived decades without food, without anything that we think we need to survive and live... And its not all about Genetics which is just another term for Karma, we can live way beyond Genetics and Karma if we want too.. Normal is not defined by what the majority think or do, it is what is natural, we are meant to be healthy and fully alive Beings, with that comes eternal Bliss... -
Ishanga replied to DLH's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I would say that this is the normal way ppl feel Satisfaction, something outside of themselves then becomes a part of themselves then they feel fulfilled in a sense for awhile anyways.. When we talk about God/Absolute and Spirituality, we are talking and explore a dimension that is way beyond outside things making us feel fulfilled, we are talking about Us feeling fulfilled, peaceful and Blissful naturally because we know and experience our true nature.. I don't get why ppl think we have to have up and down emotional lives, depressed ppl feel depressed most all the time, why can't the opposite exist too, why can't ppl feel Blissful all day all the time? If one possibility exist the other has too, that is what God is Potential and Possibility... -
Well there is saying "Stomach Empty only 1 problem...Stomach full then there are 100 problems" lol... If Survival, like real Survival (I have no food, shelter, cloths, security, etc) is an issue, then higher up aspirations like BEINGNESS are less relevant, as they should be, because if Your Dead or Injured/disabled in someway, how can one become Aware of BEINGNESS if it is not already a natural Experience? So one has to make the priorities.. But there is way to become more Aware of BEINGNESS while trying to Survive and live another day or just living like the avg person making a living going to and from work everyday... First try to focus on NOW awareness of things, even if doing the most mundane chores or work, focus on it intensely as you can, bring focus on body senses, where the mind wonders off to (bring it back), this is vital...Then Acceptance of What Is, the situation at hand and such.. Acceptance doesn't mean I have to like it, just accept it, this will drastically reduce Stress responses and levels. 3rdly learn to Respond to Life Situations, choose how You respond to stuff, don't react, reacting is unconscious action, responding is conscious action, Consciousness brings about Clarity, Clarity allows You to live life at Ease no matter what is going on around You, if that is in place then BEINGNESS comes naturally!

Yes sort of... We are very conditioned people in the societies we live in pretty well no matter what country You live in.. This means we are not free individuals, utilizing our Free Will to decide how we want to feel within ourselves and control the direction of our lives, rather we are told what we should like, how we should live, what we need to do and have to feel happy or healthy.. So when You stop being addicted and consciously create not new patterns (cause patterns mean unconsciousness, no clarity, your blind and not aware of what is going on or where life is found), but create firstly how to BE, just BEINGNESS, which is a great sense of Self, what am I, where did I come from, a sense of Completeness and Connectedness with everything living around You, then via that You feel Peace or Bliss naturally, and then from that You go out and perform Action (DO) and get things and HAVE.. so the formula is this BE--->DO---HAVE or BE--->HAVE--->DO .. Very few ppl today Establish their BEINGNESS first, most go out and DO to HAVE things like ppl, places and objects/materialism/experience hunting, to have a 'sense' of BEING but this quickly dissipates and then the cycle repeats itself. in the end they suffer it!!

That's good, but real understanding doesn't come from exchanging words.. They say when ppl are with others together, the majority of the communication is done via body language and vocal tones, which cannot be translated here... Plus when continually going back and forth over many multiple posts, the others POV becomes blurred, responding with your own opinion become primary, so then the real communication is over with in that case but it is good that You want to understand him better, he has many good point for sure!! -
Lots of us are trapped in loops of coping skills and behaviours, like distraction or procrastinating.. If You truly embrace the Insight as a Real Insight, and You feeling it is empowering, that should reflect in how You feel and experience life.. Problem is Karma is a bitch, Karma is like the Software in a computer, if You don't reprogram the software, it will keep on spitting out the same outputs, so fix the software (Your conditioning, tendencies, habits, mental rehashing and overthinking patterns, etc) and then the experience of Empowerment is real for You and it feels Good!

If AI does explode and we are all replaced at our jobs, then first they will have to do something for the ppl that have no income, like maybe change the economic system so we all have basics supplied to Us for free, otherwise what happens to the billions of replaced workers??? The plus side is with all this free time we can explore why we are really here, certainly its not too work at a job most of us don't want to be doing right?

Lol, that is good to know... Bruce Lee in his last years alive, created Jeet Kune Do, this is the most Unconformist Martial Art created, its all about being Unnaturally Natural, and in the end is all about being completely Individualistic and Free in a sense.. But Bruce wasn't born like this, he had to learn, basics and such, yes he was a natural at it, show him a movement once and he mastered it the next day, not many like this, but he was super intense, dedicated and committed, and via that he learned the basics really quick and moved on! So beginning stages of any new learning or exploration, in a way you have to be a Conformist, have to learn, become Wise, and once Wise You become Non Conformist, totally independent and Individualized! This is a good path, you learn and experience both and are not stuck in a box at anytime for very long! -

I think this sort of stuff has to be done in person, especially with Spirituality matters, debating online there can be allot of misunderstandings in language usage and contexts and such, in the end it doesn't lead anywhere when it is back and forth so much... Too much talking about it makes one further away from it in the end!! -

Every Human Being wants to be More than What it is Right Now! That is fact, and that is the Desiring Process its built into Us, this is the natural arising of Spirituality within Us! But we are Ego identified to such a high degree that it blinds us to this process.. Observation as a practice is basic stuff, it creates a space btwn You and Mind in a way, so that You can recognize that You are not the Mind or Body... After that sooner or later You have to increase Your Energy/Life Force within, that is really where it starts to happen!! -
Ishanga replied to Terell Kirby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Guys, talking Spirituality, making it a subject as you both are is useless! Debating spiritual or mind concepts gets You know where, You'll never come to agreement and it doesn't mean anything anyways as Concepts don't mean reality! -
Ishanga replied to DLH's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There is just BEING! Being this or that is false self, or Ego, Ego can arise in any endeavour, but You would that someone that comes across the Spiritual paths and find it interesting would be less likely to engage in Egoic behaviour, but the Ego is clever and does not want to lose control or die easily, so be weary.. The New Age crap is guilty of this, they sell crystals, were beads and funny clothing to "Look" spiritual, but as said before their behavior does not reflect it, I do believe that if one is truly on the path then for sure it will reflect in their behaviour and such!!! Spirituality is only about how to experience the non physical aspect of what You Are, if You are not the Body or Mind, then that implies what You are is non physical in nature! -

Yes this is the problem with taking psychedelics, its "work free" Bliss and Experience which in the end is a No No, if You get something for nothing or by popping a pill it will come back on You! If one wants the ultimate Experience for a Human, to experience God/Absolute they mostly have to work for it, then it is earned and real, the Guru is just here to smooth the path, not make one experience, as in the end its always up to the Individual to seek Absolute, and find a way to Experience it... -
That's true, but in the end we all want a Pleasurable experience in life, not a miserable one, and emotions like Happiness, Joy, Love, Peace, they are all Pleasurable experiences, but not identical, that is why we have words that describe them... Love mean Two, its in relationship to something else. Peace is balance and equanimity, Joy having Fun like a child, Happiness is Acceptance of What Is. But Bliss and Ecstasy are not like these things, Bliss is overall a more intense experience of Pleasure, and its related to inner Experience, and Ecstasy is out of this world Pleasure that comes from within as well, so there is a difference in terminology I think!!
