  1. Human Services classes, if your university has them. They were a complete game changer for me, so much so that I am double majoring in it along with Psychology. Would have been my sole major if I knew about it from the beginning. Human Services is much more intensely related to self-development and getting your inner work done. I wouldn’t go to a therapist who did Psychology over Human Services now…
  2. Interesting :0 well is that’s truly so, then she was maybe projecting aha. but yeah, I’d feel wildly uncomfortable if I was bold enough to meet a stranger at their club. Second-guessing and everything. Only until I was successfully made to not feel so.
  3. Yeah, the worst feeling ever is being perceived as an unwanted stalker haha, so it was very bold of her to go through with it. Would have been good to make her feel welcome and that it wasn’t odd of her to be there.
  4. Make her feel welcomed in your space. Technically since you go there so often, the place is more so yours than not, so treat it like your second home. She entered your space, and probably did not know how to engage in it without your lead. Should have offered her a drink and asked her how she liked the place etc…and go from there. Get her at ease in a place you’re super familiar in that she’s not. She came there for you, not the place, and probably didn’t want to feel like she was intruding if you didn’t make a move.
  5. Hey Leo! Would be super cool if a video was made discussing Edward Bernays, or at least including him in a relevant topic. Highlighting how he was Sigmund Freud’s nephew, and how he essentially used his thoughts on group psychology to become the creator of modern day public relations. The term ‘public relations’ was coined by him, after needing a new word for propaganda, given its negative connotation. From his work with United Fruit Company and the negative impact it had on Guatemala, to Lucky Strikes cigarettes and convincing the public to let women smoke for profit reasons, to simple things like bacon and eggs becoming the staple breakfast diet…even though we can agree bacon isn’t good for you at all. Lots more of course. Ever since I have researched about Edward Bernays, it has completely given context to how society is run in the West, and simplified a complex dilema on why we struggle to get over materialism and the relentless need for more. Would be cool if more people knew about him:) Documentary called ‘The Century of the Self’, can be found on YouTube to learn more about Bernays’ impact.
