It's an inner knowing. See... lies are second order, you need to know the truth you're trying to obscure or manipulate. Your inner pathways work in unity to create your experience, Manipulation only makes sense when there's a division. Yet you may very well say that there are many identities and psychic forces, like DMT Entities or your own cognitive splits. And not all of them are benevolent, classic Devil and Angel on your Shoulder type deal. It's a complex interplay, check IFS. What you can do, is: get down to the initial intent, go meta, and meta again, deconstruct, see-through, understand why.

Idk, psychedelics make it go outward and Inward and recursively, in a fractal way. And dissociatives make it, so that forward merges with backward. And alcohol honestly just kinda seems to pause or rewind it. And have you ever tried salvia? I don't think there would even be a forward anymore. Hmm, mostly yes. It's made of the same barriers as a psyche or the environment, stability & coherence. But just like you can dissolve your mind on psychedelics or get heavy tools to terraform the environment... You can do it, it's just difficult, weirdly specific, impractical, complicated, and it yields diminishing returns What I can tell you though, is that psychedelics threw me into states where everything was turning on

There are multiple creative ways to make it happen. Everything fundamentally is associatory codified significance. Senses interconnect, trigger, and associate through various pathways and you can make your own. An extremely crude example is behaviorism, but you can also meditate and tune your awareness. Anyone who's done psychedelics knows how one can project or treat reality as if it were a stand-in for something. Everything is mind, you can see anything through the aesthetic of a ceiling or even get turned on by its ceiling-ness.
