@NoSelfSelf I keep hearing about psychopathy, be it meta or post-irony and weakness due to a lack of manipulation skill and I'm probably too alien for these threads, but building intricate social personas and alpha lifestyles ultimately solely to pursue pussy and create elaborate pull & push chase-psychology models and the whole pickup thing just to buy into a conceptual romance/relationship game, is something I have never found any value in. Self-transformation? Definitely. Find a compatible match? Sure But being addicted to telegraphed repetitive romance/sex/relationship attitudes reflected everywhere, that create elaborate "frameworks" to "master" an "impersonal" attitudinal charade? People seem to feel entitled to and shape their lives around it, that sounds pathetic to me. Especially, since everything that is truly being sought is the kind of internal validation that you can give yourself without using others as a proxy.

@NoSelfSelf Weakness comes in many paradigms in many many forms. Manipulating a girl to stay with you is equally a problem and just as weak. The point is to transform yourself authentically, and then come what will.

@AION She was done with you and went to the next toy, it's nothing personal kiddo, just who she is. You're not entitled to other people's attraction. Everyone likes different things and needs their space. Imagine a random street girl you're incompatible with and that you dislike forcing you to be with her. Some people only want good sex, others spicy romance, some drama, others to solve their problems. There are also those of deep empathy, who want to deeply understand the core of the other person. But these individuals are rare and you will alienate 100 for every 1 of them that you'll happen to find.

There is a difference between Infatuation and Love Infatuation - Being in awe of the traits that make the other stand out Love - Deep empathy towards the very mind that materializes itself through its behavior and style And so, to solve infatuation, you need to acquire the traits you're attracted to. And love is just love, unspoken and intuitive, nothing to pursue or desire, only to appreciate and experience.

You're stepping outside of your usual frame of mind, going meta. And so you can gather new experiences and test out the new psychology-kit. As long as you make sure not to overdo it. It is like cheating, but only because our default psychology sucks so bad. And so, it's a super convenient solution to a very inconvenient problem, which balances out.
