I agree. I’m under the impression that this is what dictates whether you have a good or bad trip. If your intention is set solely on God, there’s nothing standing in the way and the psychedelics will show you God clearly. If it’s influenced by ego, the psychedelics have to see through it in order for you to see God. If you insist on identifying with Ego, that’s not a pleasant experience while in this compromised state

You wouldn’t believe how smart it is. It’s mastered the art of persuasion. You already agree to do his bidding before hearing the entire pitch. The best of salesmen, no other liar can compare with the lies we tell ourselves. Leo made a good analogy in one of his videos. One of its advanced moves is it “hijacks” consciousness to make you think you’ve “arrived”, and now you have to spread the gospel to all those unfortunate souls who are still asleep, waiting for you to save them.

When I said I read it, I meant I started to read it. It’s a lot of mind blown moments at once, I’m taking it slow, the ego is running rampant lmao. But at the same time so is awareness, it’s levelling me back down and this results in seeing a bigger picture that I couldn’t fathom just moments ago. Surrender, acceptance, I repeat to myself. I’ll look into his other books for sure. I’m not that far in at all and it’s scary how much of an impact its had.

I tried to message you earlier but an error popped up. Thank you for your input, the level up I received was because I decided to try your advice. It went uphill from there. I was already on day 12 in ACIM when you randomly popped up and told me to read the Disappearance of the Universe. I did. Thank you is what I say to that. Good book but you definitely have to be ready for it before it will help you, like any spiritual advice. You’re right, this is a sensitive time and I have to remember to tread lightly. But something tells me it’s only up from here.

Psychedelics are limited. I experienced God a few years ago, it was brief but It was complete, and the experiences are not the same. Psychedelics let you see what God is through a screen, just like watching someone famous in a movie theatre vs. Seeing them in real life. Unfortunately that screen is your Ego, and it is in complete control of how it wants you to interpret God

I think I understood what you’re trying to say. If I did, it made me realise an error in my perspective. Even though I no longer see the ego world as a threat, I still saw it as “other”, and that means some kind of plan has to be formulated to “deal with it”. Planning is the ego’s day job. Your whole point is that it shouldn’t matter what you do and where you go if everything is one. Maybe you meant something else, but your input was helpful. thanks.

in my experience, if you want to find God, you have to be specific with your intention and complete in its conviction. If it’s vague, you’re basically shopping around for intentions and will likely get drawn back into ego world. The pull is strong, both inside you and outside you.

I agree physical isolation isn’t necessary. It probably won’t even work if you believe the world still has something valuable to give you. The itch to come back will be strong because u haven’t experienced enough of it to see it’s bullshit. Mentally isolating yourself is necessary though, but I think that can only happen if you’re truly sick of the world and see no other option. it comes down to your ability to recognise patterns. It helps if you’re intelligent, artistic, or highly sensitive and so the effects of the pattern affect you more than the average and so motivates you to get out. or you see enough of the pattern that you catch on

Right now, great. I had a recent level up. Feels like a vantage point from the time I started this thread. Still too early to tell if I’ll be pulled back in. But this feels different. I’m noticing the repetitive patterns and calling them out. I try to stop myself from dwelling on any one thought or identity (making a deal with the Devil, if you will). We will see how it goes

If it was easy, everyone would be there. But almost nobody is, that’s an indication of how difficult it is. The craziest part is that it’s you, tricking yourself over and over again. It’s a lot of back and forth..having an ah-ha moment, getting drawn back in, then another thing clicks, then pulled back in, etc. then you notice all these patterns and move up a level. truly a roller coaster ride. Life will get you there.

Youre trying to understand what will happen when you wake up from the dream with the mindset you have while you’re in the dream. The mindset is time Based and chronological. You cant wrap your head around anything outside the dream while you’re in it, just like you have no concept of your waking life when you’re dreaming while sleeping. but basically yes, awakening from the dream is the answer but no one can tell you why because words and language are concepts within the dream. The “after life” is beyond communication. Time is the biggest mind fuck in the dream because it runs your life at the most fundamental level, and makes it so that the only way you understand something is if it’s chronological. You have to get there by yourself, and when you do, you’ll have no more questions. Others are a huge help with their hints but you have to make the jump, no one’s going to push you. They will drive you nuts until you jump though, that’s why other people exist. We’re all walking each other home.

Leo is great with a capital G. If he lived during Medevil times his name would be Leo, the Great. None of us would be here if we weren’t impacted by his videos. He is clearly highly intelligent and artistic. He understands concepts with incredible depth and is able to communicate it to us. There’s no denying his work is valuable to anyone on the spiritual path. When someone drastically improves the quality of your life like that, humans tend to become worship-y and take everything he says as the gospel. He’s still a human with an ego. Actually the downfall of his ego is how intelligent it is. Everything can be understood and explained, that it becomes an addiction. Especially with his followers and praise he gets every day. Imagine that many people basically worshipping you every day just for explaining stuff? He probably feels like Jesus. The trick is to use his videos to move yourself closer to God. Most of us get lost in the knowledge because it’s so meaningful, we just want to consume more and more. Thats a tough ego trap. Ultimately you’re God, and it’s your job to take control and Responsibility over your awakening.

Suffering is the only method. Your desires are the Ego’s propositions on how to avoid suffering. Ego is a mechanical, desire-fulfilling machine, being upheld by constantly convincing you to run around and do its will (fulfill desires). When you agree to suffering, you have to agree that your life isn’t working in fulfilling your desires, and will have to accept that something new must make way. Your ego will be damned before it lets that happen, because that means the death of the ego. If you’ve had enough experience and therefore suffering (because everything will make you suffer) then it becomes clear that you have to do something else because the pattern and its futility become so obvious. Whatever amount of suffering you’re willing to accept and stop running away from, is the same amount you’ll be rewarded in peace, clarity, salvation. From my experience, the only time true clarity and true relief came to me was when I laid down on the couch and accepted all the “bad things” in my life. Just said “yes” to Everything and “I don’t know” to every question I had. fully accepted that nothing needs to be done on my part. But you have to mean it with every fibre of your being, or it won’t work.

I’ll vouche for this. I briefly experienced God a few years ago. The two things that stood out to me the most was 1) How fucking obvious! And 2) for the first time in my life, I have a absolutely no questions

You don’t think you’re underestimating the pull the ego world has? The ego world wasn’t designed in such a way that you can be a passive observer. If you don’t partake in the games you’ll be treated like an outsider. The pull is strong.

Interesting. Do you have any thoughts that you’ll look back at life when you’re 60 and dwell on wasted opportunity/ relationships that might have been cool to experience? Or do you ever think that you can live life as ego now, and worry about awakening when you’re older and been there/ done that?

Nevermind, I read a thread you started. I guess you believe that isolation/ withdrawal from this crazy world is key. Thats what I’m being pulled towards as well. It takes commitment and iron will to commit though. There’s such a strong will to belong, to achieve, to do. I like one thing you mentioned in your thread, that you will eventually be repulsed by the people and things you looked to for fulfillment. This is so true. Im experiencing this right now in my dilemma. I Enjoy boxing but im so tired of the repetition, of being yelled at, being told what to do at work and then at the gym 24/7, same shit day in and day out. Living up to expectations. Especially when I know the Truth with a capital T. It all seems like a waste of time. All that effort and blood and sweat literally for a waste of time! But it’s so fun!! Hehehe

I agree in that Leo isn’t perfect and we shouldn’t treat him like God. But his insights are highly powerful and rare. The trick is to learn how to use them wisely without getting stuck in traps. But even if you do get stuck in traps, you’re God anyway? No harm no foul.

Right! I always fall into the trap of believing there’s some higher being that’s figuring life out for me, and I have to be attuned to what he wants me to do by following hints. Relieves me of the responsibility of taking shit into my own hands.
