Perfect video to explain how I feel, especially the part where he highlights what Breath of the Wild did well. Basically, Tears of the Kingdom feels too much and too over-the-top to me. Breath of the Wild and Wind Waker had a clear direction. Tears feels like a Zelda game with 10 mods installed. The whole vehicle-building thing feels like an absolutely awful design choice to me. I don't want to play it, and I already know I probably won't like it no matter what. I like simple poetic beautiful game or I wonder in my mind. I've watched even more videos, and I usually know pretty quickly, just from first impressions, whether a game is going to convince me or not.

No I just had dyslexia with all their names, I barely followed nintendo games those last 10 years and totally forgot the last one was Tears. edit : after watching a whole walkthrough, I m not attracted to it ( that's also why I avoided it at times, but watching another vid ), the landscape/vibe doesn't feel rights, the artistic direction feel weak somehow, way way less pretty, less poetic. watched this through :

This one was too scripted for me, I really like when they are freestyle and you feel like the world just await you for doing stuff. But I m sure if you're into narrative it's a good one. This is why Breath was awesome too.

It could be. I don’t even reject your perspective, because it’s clear that this is a valid angle and could be the truth of it. But is this really 100% the case? I think that, right now, it’s fugazi. But I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility that reality could soon allow real diamonds to emerge from the fugazi machine if it actually turns out to work. Maybe psychos like Elon Musk aren’t really trying to sell dreams. Maybe they’re genuinely schizo-driven by a vision of future technologies healing the world. Don’t dismiss that as a very real possibility. Whether the world actually allows that vision to materialize is a different question. The problem might still remain one of price, and people using it having a serious : lack of direction, and taste. Currently, LLMs have tangible limitations. One serious limitation I’ve noticed with Astra is that it still seems incapable of properly rendering organic characters, even though I’ve seen people try very hard. The same jump might happen in 3 years. But there might still be another problem: the inference cost could remain comparable to simply paying an artist, at least in the early stages. It could then start seriously beating the market by 2032. Of course, I’m just speculating for fun, there is too many variables, it's just based on my intuition and my own internal training data.

It's hard-wired into the necessary delusion. And it's the same with everything. It's all God uniting things within the dream of life. There is no "you" with any real agency. It's time to surrender the idea of agency entirely.

Where is solipsism in all of this? If you truly want to, you can almost generate its absolute opposite: a state in which you are understood, seen clearly, and appreciated for the truth of who you are. But I think we are all too shy to reach that level of honesty. It might take something extraordinarily powerful to become so present that two minds, or more, can genuinely meet in pure presence, so 'outside of mind'.
