  1. I would recommend reading or listening to "the myth of normal " by gabor mate. Just don't use it as an excuse to be a victim. Also if you're not female I would recommend trying to live off the land and focus on survival. If you are female, perhaps look into intentional communities.
  2. Cigarettes are more challenging. But with weed, stay busy. Exercise, draw, clean, work etc. Imo the hardest part is not being able to sleep. So read a book, binge watch actualized etc. Don't give yourself time to do it and stay focused on action. Despite not having what you want.
  3. @Larry Kaul Not all emotions have obvious feelings attached to them. Sometimes it takes work to identify the source. For example to go back to gabor, he says often times depression is similar to holding a beach ball underwater. You don't realize how much energy you put into it until you let it go.
  4. This reminds me of the movie Nope. In that it describes how to negotiate with a predator mentality. It cannot be reasoned with but a bargain could be struck under its terms until you can figure out how to eliminate it from your environment
  5. In "the myth of normal" by gabor mate, he describes how your emotions are a direct reflection of your immune system. So they cannot be ignored forever, but neither should we give into them fully. He writes that we're all full of explosives from past trauma, and that the goal is to become triggerless. Meaning if you can identify the source of your emotions with genuine compassion and inquiry, your much less likely to become triggered from an external source.
  6. My wife and I have been using lions mane with coffee and tea. It's supposed to increase memory retention, but so far I've only noticed increased alertness and focus. I just recently acquired a source for micro dose so I can let you know the results.
  7. Look into Serapis. The Greek Egyptian God. 400 years before his birth. They had a saying. Iesus christos. Which meant hail Zeus the annoited one. This was also before the letter j was supposedly invented. In Latin countries they still say hey Zeus for Jesus. Literally meaning hail Zeus. Zeus is no Jesus, but they are both patriarchal religions which have been used to keep the population of their time obedient. Also look into spiral dynamics orange, green and yellow
  8. Batman assumes crime is a choice, and not the cause of survival under unfortunate circumstances. How often does he target other rich individuals, or invest in education to prevent people from growing up in toxic conditions? Also I see his use of power over others as a direct comparison of his lack of internal strength. Which is really what it takes to make the world a better place. It's basically propaganda to make people believe that professions like police and soldiers are honorable. Which they can be, but only in self defense. Proactive violence is only destruction.
  9. "Nourishing Traditions" and "Nourishing Diets" by Sally Fallon Morel. She discusses how indigenous people throughout the world had a life expectancy over 100. With practical recipes. "Braiding Sweetgrass " by Robin Kimmer. She mentions ideas like the gift economy, honorable harvest, and how native languages are almost the polar opposite of English. For example there was no word for "it" everything was either a he or she, even trees. "The myth of normal " by Gabor Mate. He reveals how things we consider normal, like they way we do childbirth, is actually not normal compared to most of human history. He also mentions how he can predict what types of diseases people will have after getting to know they're personality. For example Lou garricks disease is caused by being too nice and suppressing anger.
  10. The closest ones I can find are "What is art" and "Releasing your ambition." However the best advice I've found on this topic are "How to not be a wage slave" " Why valuable things require development over time" and the entire spiral dynamics series. The world needs Turquoise level artists, but it requires integrating the lower stages.
  11. In Leo's video on how to be decisive he mentioned the possibility of getting an RV and traveling. If you ever did decide to embark on such an adventure, I bet you could find free room and board in each state just for a conversation. If you ever come to Michigan let me know I got you covered. I have 5 acres you can camp out in.
  12. I would really be interested to see Leo's perspective on the old world theory. I have been researching this topic for over 3 years, with the initial intent to disprove it. However my efforts have been in vain. The more I research this topic the more valid it becomes. If anyone could attempt to disprove it I would appreciate it. Thank you.
  13. This is an expansion on the old world theory I forgot to include. Most of us take time for granted. But it is well known that many different cultures have used different methods to measure time throughout history, until the recent application of the gregorian calendar. Does that mean it is correct? How many of us actually take the time to personally measure the sun, moon and stars to determine its accuracy? We base enormous sections of our history on assumptions that certain things happened thousands of years ago. But what if that's part of the deception to make us all believe that ideas like war and trade were always a part of humanity. So here's an example for comparison. We're all familiar with 12 month calander. But precolonial native Americans used a different method, more similar to ancient Hebrew. They had a name for each moon. There are 13 full moons each year, not 12. There are roughly 28 days in between each moon, similar to the female menstrual cycle. 13 x 28= 364. What kind of impact would an alteration like this produce? There are many more alterations to consider. Like how many buildings and tombstones are time stamped like i893, or j893, for example to represent 1893. However the letters I and j were not even invented until 1593 according to history. How much would the story of history change if those letters weren't there? With this in mind it's entirely possible to see how events included in many religious texts, supposedly from thousands of years ago, could have actually happened during the same time as Christopher Columbus or many more important historical events.
  14. Try looking into the old world. That entire empire might not be what we thought it was.
  15. The study of using ancient architecture to harness energy from the atmosphere. Similar to a tesla coil, only much better.
  16. War is a paradox and can only be won by lack of participation. Unless of course you consider diminishing yourself to become a worse monster than your enemies winning.
  17. Alright so here's a brief history of Chicago according to the historical narrative. In 1830 the Indian removal act displaced all the native inhabitants. The city was founded in 1837. By 1871 the city burnt down in the great Chicago fire. In 1893 the city held a world's fair. Now do an image search of that time period and tell me how any of that makes sense. I'll attach a video about the fair to illustrate my point.
  18. I see it as strategic bc there is very little chance of Russia becoming Ukraine. However I do not agree with the idea of war under any circumstance. I see countries like sports teams. It doesn't matter who wins if everyone is playing the same for profit game
  19. @Hojo I agree and perhaps that is true for now. But that doesn't mean that ai cant develop that connection. What I meant by that statement is that we cannot assume that ai will outsmart all of nature, simply because it's made out if different materials.
  20. Studying anthropology will reveal that humans are capable of complex civilizations without the need for an economy or centralized government. If things ever shut down completely people will be forced to pursue intentional communities in order to meet their needs. Those survivors will recreate the orange economy until they figure out how to ascend into a green economy.
  21. @Bobby_2021 exactly. Leo describes this well in his spiral dynamics series. Many green people are born into green. And cannot ascend into yellow until they fully integrate the lower stages.
  22. The economic system will either descend into an immature form of socialism, or ascend into a more mature socialist system. However in order to mature we might need to collectively agree to dissolve our national identities and replace it with a global human identity.
  23. Capitalism is technically good because it's an orange phase economic system. That is where the majority is currently so it works. However once more people ascend to green it will transform into a more socialist system. Eventually it will be Turquoise and there might not even be an economy. But people are not at that level of understanding so it cannot be maintained. In order for any system to work it needs to be easily understood by the population.
  24. The education system was never designed to make people more intelligent or conscious. It is designed to make people socially obedient. Social media has the potential to increase awareness more than schools, but it's up to the parents to determine what their children absorb.
  25. Short answer, ignorance and lack of critical thinking. People struggle to understand that we are one human organism on this planet. Regardless of what we choose to identify with. Also People cannot fathom life without an economy. However anthropology will prove that ancient civilizations were capable of amazing feats without a trade economy or centralized government.
