@NoSelfSelf exactly, there is no defensive in that situation. But what I mean is that I can't take it seriously unless I'm all in. No half measures. And we are not at that point. We are slowly growing together and much has improved since when we started, but we still have a long way to go. Also I am in connection with my own mindset. I built my own business in spite of her doubt and lack of support. Since then we have all benefited from it. I also built a 5 acre homestead with chickens, turkeys, sheep and an orchard without help and against her wishes. But now she's happy about it. I'm mostly curious why females can't understand the male perspective, while constantly accusing males of not seeing the females perspective. When this is obviously not the case

@universe a honey do list is her to do list for me, which often takes priority over my own in her perspective. Not saying I comply, it's just her preference. I did go to a hospital and took care of myself. However this didn't prevent her from being petty and bitchy until after I healed.
-
@mr_engineer I can see that. We both struggle to not have a transactransactional relationship
-
@universe so when I slipped a disc in my spine, could barely move without excruciating pain. I should just man up and do her honey do list without complaint?
-
@universe are you implying tht the expression/communication of emotion is feminine?
-
@NoSelfSelf I'm curious what your perspective of masculine is. I'm not interested in being a victim of divorce. I'm not interested in divorce at all but I'd rather take the offensive than be subject to it. I've seen too many family members torn apart by being defensive and losing.

I've noticed the same thing with my mom, grandmas, aunts, sister, cousins, etc. They ask me to look at the woman's perspective as though I didn't already. But when I try to address the man's perspective they are incapable of understanding, even if I point it out in blunt direct details with examples.

@jdc7733 Imo the men that lack empathy towards women lack empathy for everyone. Its much more common that men cater to women's desires excessively. But the other way around isn't even a thought to consider.

@mr_engineer narcissistic women don't like emotionemotionally unavailable men either bc they can't exploit them as easily. Your benevolent emasculation post is interesting, but long. I'll have to get back to you on that.

@strika Ah I see. Thanks for the clarification.

@Raze Yeah I know my wife sees me as weak bc she knows im afraid of her taking the kids. This lets her get away with a lot more than she should. Also I agree with codependent issues. When we first got together I was just grateful that I could be loved by anyone. However as I get older I'm beginning to see that this isn't love. However I'm still trying to make it work bc we're both invested so deeply. Anyway I'm getting off topic. I've noticed this with all women. They just seem incapable of understanding men's problems, if they ever give it any thought.

My wife is very attractive and usually only wears underwear around the house. Also she does not handle rejection well. Semen retention for more than 30 days would lead to divorce, I've tried.
-
As a married man I can say that semen retention only makes the cravings worse and makes me way more likely to do stupid things just for sex. In fact I will regularly do the opposite just so that I'm not stuck doing a honey do list forever.

My posts can be completely disregarded as nonsense, however I am not parroting anyone here. -
That really depends on where you are located. Some construction trades can start at that, but most will require experience. I've heard of sales jobs paying that, but I think good products and services sell themselves. Or figure out how to sell $400 in product a day online somehow.

Changed profile pic to a starfort. There are over 1,000 of them. -
I'm looking for alternative perspectives and further insight into the old world theories. For those that are unfamiliar with the topic here's a brief summary. There is growing evidence suggesting that there has been a massive deception in the entire history of humanity. The evidence is mostly photographs of history that are contradictory to the narratives we have all been taught in the education system. This includes, but is not limited to all ancient megalithic sites. But more importantly, this is referring to all the cities we currently inhabit. For example do a search for the first photographs of any human settlement anywhere on the planet. Then try to explain how humanity could have built what you see during that time frame. According to the narrative of history, most of the amazing structures were built during the same time period (1800's) in a year or two. Given that the population was much smaller, technology was less advanced and transportation was limited to horse and buggy, how could this be? We still cannot achieve what was supposedly done hundreds of years ago. This includes every major city and small town. After looking at images patterns will emerge suggesting that humanity was more advanced than our current state less then 300 years ago. There appears to be a unified architectural style. With similar building materials, such as natural cement, which is superior to modern concrete. However we somehow lost the formula to recreate it in the present day. This encompasses capitol buildings, churches, universities, hospitals, bridges, monuments, canals, railroads, museums, libraries, castles, opera houses and even breweries. Also this theory includes all lesser known constructions, such as star forts and underground tunnels, which connects these buildings to each other. There are many layers to this theory and I won't be able to cover it all in one post. So I will attach photographs of certain places such as world's fairs and star forts as an example, as soon as I figure out how to do so. Some locations even had electricity, plumbing, trolleys, and zeppelins before they should have. There currently is no prevailing theory since most of this research is being done by regular people not accredited institutions. However in my opinion, it appears as if the world was at a global Turquoise level civilization 200-300 years ago, until some kind of cataclysmic event reset all of civilization as we know it.

Not all mushrooms need to be psychedelic in order to increase consciousness. For example lions mane mushrooms have been proven to help grow neurons in the brain, without any psychedelic properties. However it is worth noting that in combination with psychedelics the effect will multiply and be worth more than the sum of its parts. If anyone knows of any other foods that can increase neural development can you let me know. Thanks.

@Raze @ryandesreu Hey guys I just wanted to let you know, that after applying these techniques they have helped out considerably already. Also venting helped a little. So thank you both.

I have a pretty good life, I should be more grateful. I have a beautiful wife who loves me, 4 healthy kids. I live on a farm I built with chickens, turkeys and sheep. 5 acres of forest. I've been in construction over 20 years so I make decent money wherever I go. But I set my expectations so high that the amount of effort it takes to achieve something, by the time I earn it it feels like I don't even want it anymore. I know I'm spoiled. But I work so hard for so long that all work feels like an unending trap. Anytime I'm not working on art or inventions, feels like a waste of time. I work so often that I can't even enjoy the things I have, but if I stop I will lose it all bc I won't be able to afford it anymore. If anyone has any words of wisdom I would appreciate it.

@Raze Thanks for responding. Your first point is to let go of control. I forgot to mention that I'm the sole earner for the past decade. Also the only one who can run the farm or drive. So letting go of control feels irresponsible. I still have 4 daughters to take care of. Your second point is to be present and above the situation, not at its mercy. I struggle with that bc construction no longer brings me any satisfaction, but it pays too well to replace. I spend all my time building other people's dreams and don't have time for my own projects. When I'm not working I spend all my time running errands, groceries, appointments etc. I do 100% of all driving. I'd rather be writing stories, drawing, working on the farm, or tinkering with inventions. And while anyone of those things could pay off in a decade, they won't pay the bills today. Third love impatience to death. I do struggle with patience. But many of my aspirations have already been on hold for multiple decades. I also take on too many responsibilities bc I keep hoping one of them will buy me the time necessary to work on my dreams. Instead I get bogged down and overwhelmed. @ryandesreu Thank you for responding as well. According to Google the hedonic treadmill is maintaining a base level happiness regardless of external circumstances. That would be an admirable goal for me. Personally my happiness continues to drop, bc I keep trying to earn my freedom through work at the expense of anything interesting. Also I don't know how much I can change without a drastically changing the lifestyle of the entire household. Even if my wife wanted to work, then I would have to watch the kids (which im more than comfortable doing) but she'd get paid far less and I'd still have to drive her to work unless she found something from home. She tries to help by making art but it barely breaks even. At this point not being expected to cook and do dishes everyday would be a win for me.

I agree with you, it's a downward spiral. I'm not saying it's easy either. But a corrupt institution won't really punish the right people. And without opportunities to thrive, some people will inevitably choose a gang. -
Reignforest replied to trenton's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Another key component overlooked on this topic is that gangs fill a role where government or community is lacking. They are more of a symptom and not a disease themselves. If they had access to critical resources and a government against corruption, gangs would struggle to exist. Most people I know join gangs out of desperation or force. -
Most people still have beliefs stuck in the lower colors. A person with a yellow core would have integrated all the lower colors to have enough understanding that they would not be capable of judging another color. I'm not saying that this is you, but this is where I see self proclaimed yellows fall short.
