What he is talking about is "walking" meditation. There is a formal version of it, which you can look up on YouTube. The informal version is being mindful of everything you, your body, and the surroundings are doing. Be in the present moment and observe as much as you can without commenting on it. When you hear something, know you heard it, when you see something, know you saw it, etc. Do all of this without the constant commentary that runs through most people's mind. "A bird song, I wonder what kind of bird that is? I remember my grandmothers bird, that thing was pretty old", etc. Observe, but don't lable or engage in conceptual proliferation. -
Meditation, mindfulness, and applying the right antidotes to egoic delusions.

"The Book" by Alan Watts -
Definitely possible. That is why I gave him the benefits of a doubt, and had a fun time with it.

Don't you mean Jahannam? Hades is pretty nice though, the River Styx give it a nice touch.

The cocker spaniel ate the hamsters, and then choked, it was a double murder. I did not read this last "novel". But I see it has gotten under your skin.

Dismissing me now? Funny, but Jesters do tend to be dismissed. Satan's children? Do you mean like... Lilith's? Feel free to see Satanists everywhere... it is amusing.

I hope the fear, aversion and hate you seem to harbor for random people you disagree with leaves you soon. As for the Buddha, and hell, I won't meet him, and Hell is an entertaining concept to frighten people into following rules with no other reason than fear. I much prefer the Vedic/Buddhist ethics that have real meaning behind them.

Have a great rest of the day, and weekend. I hope whatever bee you have stuck in your bonnet finds a way out.

"Satan" is the adversary "God" needs to make the whole Abrahamic system work. As I quoted earlier with @Henri, it is easier to control people with fear, than with love. I honestly do not care how you use Ken Wilber, your intentions are not meaningful to me. Mostly because I got the Abrahamic system out of my system in my early teens. So all of this is just humorous zealotry to me.

How do you know I am not maroon? Or Ochre? I like hell, has the most interesting people in it... Sin is also pretty interesting... a misused word to make others ashamed of who they are. Are you trying for something? Making me upset? Or take anything you say seriously? I have nothing but mildly bemused interest in talking with you.

A man who despises liars and occultists sees liers and occultists everywhere. Or you could be making the whole thing up, like you made up Socrates, nomad, or other users you have here that have yet to make an appearance. Or you could be on your deathbed, or you could be a laughing teen on a forum having fun trying to upset people and feeding on their emotions, ie a psychic vampire... personally, it does not matter to me. "Satan" and "God" are both necessary. One cannot exist without the other. But we are talking about the human psyche, and dependent origination.

Also, there is nothing wrong with LaVey Satanists, per se... just people worshiping ego, instead of trying to cut it. i.e the left hand path.
-
I have a lot of time on my hands. I am also older than most people here, and did not get out much... as I said, I am pretty weird compared to most people.
-
I would much rather be the court Jester.

That is exactly my thought, the Buddhist path also has someone like this, only they are more like "ego doctors". They personally try very hard to make younger monks and seekers upset and affronted to teach them to see their egoic attachments. Zen Monks tend to do that a lot as well. I was also thinking left hand path, or LaVey Satanist, or perhaps a Discordian. I actually have a lot of respect for Discordians...

I write automation software. You can take that as you wish.

If you cannot figure out why Jesus would say that (if he even existed as a real person, as there is no archaeological evidence) I am not going to tell you. Family does not mean I have kids.
-
I am a software engineer, "something weird" would fit, I think, as to how most people will see me. I am still talking to you because it's fun. How do you know I have not been posting on other sites?

I have no kid, so I am not a father. I have a family, but that does not mean child. I do not think you are a troll, I think you are here fulfilling a function, I just think you are not any good at it after a certain point. I am also keeping you from attacking other people. I know the function you think you are serving here is helpful, and it is to a certain extent, but you seem to be causing more chaos than harmony. Since I am not accepting your insults, spend all the energy you have throwing them my way. I am working while you do. That's the nice thing about writing automation.

Oh... that is a good guess, I did get over enthused at first, and that is slowly fading to a manageable normality. As for sharlatan, I am not selling anything. I am here because I like helping, I like discussing, I like hearing other people's point of view, and reavaluate my own. If I see any attachment, I find out why. Try harder, still no blood unfortunately.

Yes, my poor, poor, non-existent child. Try harder.

Ken Wilber, and you, take Ken Wilber too seriously. The only "guru" I have any respect for, is Alan Watts. He knew he was entertaining, told people not to take him seriously, made no bones about it. And psychobabble is exactly what you are spreading, you are not even trying now... a real egoic "doctor" would know the pain spots, but I know it's hard to do over the internet, where half, or more, or none of what I am saying could be true. I don't envy your part.

My "family" is doing just fine; But I do agree I spend too much time on this forum... but thats the benefits of working very quickly with a computer.

Fascinating, I have no idea what you are saying now, but I am sure it makes sense to you. It is really not about inclusivity, it is more that there are "two sides" to every story. And each side usually thinks it's right. But please apply more psychobabble from Ken Wilber, it is pretty funny. I think he really liked drawing rainbows as a kid.
