  1. I just want to point out that JP stance on this seems to be misunderstood by some in this thread. JP talks in large scale macro levels often and then people bring those same ideas down to the micro level misconstruing his beliefs. Individual Micro-level = JP believes and advocates that when a man is getting rejected by all women, the fault is not in the women but in the man. And that the man needs to take on the responsibility, get his life together and become a better man which will therefore make him much more attractive to women and help him with his problem. Society Wide Macro-level = He says that men who fail to have any mating opportunities get angry and violent and that societies that are structured in a way where there are less of those men around makes for a less violent society.
  2. I like Frank Turner's music. He recent album "Positive Songs for Negative People" is quite good. And that album title gives you an idea of what to expect from his music. This is an older song of his but my personal favorite. ".. meekly shuffling down the path of mediocrity, well if that's your road then take it, but its not the road for me ..."
  3. You can get your photos touched up in photoshop by someone off fiverr for $5 such as here or spend a few hours watching youtube videos to learn to do it yourself. This is definitely not necessary though.
  4. Most likely this is just a random coincidence that you're over analyzing.
  5. @electroBeam Just take photos the next few times you are out doing shit and then you can go back to not taking photos. Your Tinder profile no matter how good or how bad can never even remotely convey who you are. Its really just clickbait material where you want to get girls intrigued enough to message you back and then the actual process of getting to know each other can begin. So this whole nonsense about but then you are starting a relationship on manipulation and lies is just silly. Obviously don't blatantly lie in your profile like saying you're a millionaire or levitated above Niagra Falls, but do offer up the most compelling you possible so as to generate replies.
  6. Dressing "girly" is merely a minor component to being feminine. There are physically attractive women dressed sexy that are still not feminine and vice-versa. It has much more to do with mannerisms and body language than attire. The way she moves through the world with an elegant softness or not.
  7. Its hard to be world class at more than one thing. There are many intellectuals that are healthy, as in, not fat and eat a health diet. But you are not going to find brilliant intellectuals who are also ripped like fitness models because you can only focus on so much.
  8. Coffee is pretty good for you as it has anti-oxidants and such. The problem is consuming regular amounts of caffeine isn't ideal, but if you are like most people and are addicted to regular caffeine consumption (me included) then drink up buddy and don't worry much about it. Consuming caffeine regularly is definitely not optimal living but it shouldn't be a major concern. I'm sure there are much more important negative habits you should focus on breaking.
  9. I keep abreast of current events because knowing whats going on in the world does affect my life and business. However, I rarely spend more than 10 minutes on it each day because most news is just low consciousness nonsense. I like the site newser.com for glancing over the days headlines.
  10. As a 30 year old who has completed most of the Life Purpose course, I wish I had learned this information when I was in High School. This is a gross oversimplification of everything that is covered but... Basically, the course teaches a bunch of concepts and exercises to help you connect with what you value and enjoy in the world. And then with this new-found understanding you work through articulating your unique life purpose.
  11. I think you answered your own question. Do what resonates with you and follow your passion. Don't worry about your parents concerns on this topic because what your parents want for you and what you want for yourself are two different things. You want an amazing fulfilling life of doing what you love while your parents simply want you to survive and be safe. Don't survive, THRIVE! I highly recommend reading The Alchemist (if you havent already) as that book would really apply to the situation you are in.
  12. www.wordoid.com This website is a useful tool to generate fake words for brand names. You have to trudge through a lot of terrible words to find the diamonds but it is great for generating ideas and is what I use when coming up with brand names. I recommend selecting all the languages. ---- Also, avoid words that sound similar to things with negative connotations. For example, Jeff Bezos incorporated future Amazon as "Cadabra" but changed the name to Amazon after a lawyer misheard its original name as "cadaver".
