Almost always, what’s reflected says more about the observer than the observed. @Davino I completely understand your feelings, my friend. As I've grown, I've noticed that many of the conversations here don't align with the real work. There are different wavelengths now. It's crucial to find what works for you and truly supports your journey. Check your PM. Well written.

You need to take electrolytes for prolonged fasting.

@Razard86 Reading this really hits me hard. I'm truly sorry you had to go through such deep and torturous experiences. It takes immense strength to share something so raw and profound. Did you have anyone around who had even a slight understanding of what you were going through during that time? I hope you’re finding some peace now and have been able to ground yourself after such an intense period. How are you holding up now? Just know that you're not alone, and many of us are here, willing to listen and understand. -

Well, at least child traffickers will get the death penalty, guess there’s one silver lining. -
Bufo and synthetic 5-MeO-DMT usually give a similar experience. Synthetic is often preferred because it doesn't harm toads and offers a more stable effect. The things you're going through might be related to personal issues or emotions that the experience brought up.

Take a hit of 5-MeO-DMT while looking in the mirror. The sheer size of your pupils will freak you out.

@Princess Arabia Good point! @Leo Gura what do you think?

@Thought Art I've been reading through your journal posts, and it seems you own an amazing piece of tech. What’s your opinion of it now after a week or two of use?

Several hours of fasting, mindfulness practice for a few days before the trip, and no screens. I personally don’t set intentions before 5-MeO-DMT trips, as I feel a simple intention can’t influence such a powerful experience, but maybe I am wrong.

@Thought Art The "funny" part for me was when I realized there was nothing to fear, so naturally, I decided to vape more mid-to-high doses in a row. What didn’t cross my mind at the time, though, was that I still had to function in the material world… and, of course, drive home in the middle of the night. That was the real struggle...

I want to brew my own Ayahuasca to see if it will give me visuals or a 5-MeO-DMT-like experience, as other psychedelics. We have a legal version of NN-DMT in Germany called NB-DMT, which I plan to use for it. What are your experiences with Ayahuasca? Are there any easier methods to achieve similar effects?
-
Yup. Nothing can prepare you for it, but being informed about it may at least make the come-up somewhat easier to handle.

Hi @Genius100x Here’s something to keep in mind: while the pain feels endless, there is a way through it that doesn’t involve taking extreme steps. It can feel like everything is impossible to change, but there are small ways to start shifting things. Start by focusing on small actions that you can take to improve your situation. Consider seeking therapy, getting involved in activities that give you purpose, or learning how to emotionally distance yourself from the family toxicity, even if you can’t leave right away. At 22, it might feel like there’s no hope, but things can change. Start by finding any job to gain some independence. Save money, educate yourself by reading books on emotionally immature parents, and plan your way out. Taking even the smallest steps can create a ripple effect. Whether it's reaching out for professional support or just finding ways to manage day by day,, these actions can make a big difference. You’re not at fault for being in this situation, but you do have the power to take control of your life, one small step at a time. Keep reaching out for support, you’re not alone.

If you haven't had a dose high enough to experience a deep breakthrough, you probably don't have a reference point to know what to expect from 5-MeO-DMT. I would suggest rewatching the conversation between Leo and Martin Ball about 5-MeO. You might also want to read Martin Ball's book, Entheogenic Liberation: Unraveling the Enigma of Nonduality with 5-MeO-DMT Energetic Therapy. Collect as much information as possible. Going into the experience with some intellectual knowledge about what to expect can help eliminate the possibility of panic attacks or a bad trip caused by thoughts like, "I messed up, this was a bad idea," etc

@Salvijus I understand your point about needing a sense of self to function in the world, but you're limiting how deep non-duality can go. In deeper experiences, the "I" as a separate self can drop, but awareness and functioning still happen without needing to cling to a personal identity. Non-dualists who experience this aren’t necessarily deluded. They have realized a state where separation fades, but they can still act through the body and mind. You can still relate to others without the ego being attached to the idea of a separate "I." Awareness flows through experience naturally, without needing the ego to control it. -

If his actions contradict his teachings, it raises doubts about how practical or genuine those teachings are. But I’m not looking for a big discussion, his talks were always amazing. I will leave it there. -

Osho’s teachings about life having no purpose and living in the moment sound good, but there's a clear contradiction when you look at his own life. He often said we shouldn’t have goals and that everything is perfect as it is. But in reality, he built a large community of followers who took care of his every need. If life really has no purpose, why did he work so hard to attract followers and turn them into sanyassins? Why create such a big movement if everything was already fine as it was? It’s easy to talk about having no goals when you have hundreds of people looking after you. This raises the question: were his actions really in line with what he was teaching, or was there a hidden purpose behind it all? ..... Don’t get me wrong. I've spent a big part of my life listening to Osho, and I deeply admire his work. I’ve experienced the sense of purposelessness enough times to understand his teachings on it. But I don’t see why we should talk about these absolute insights in the relative world, where they can sometimes do more harm than good. It’s like teaching a child an Old Testament quote, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil..." It just doesn’t fit in certain situations. Similarly, speaking about absolute concepts in a world where people are dealing with real, practical issues can feel disconnected or even harmful. -
@Pro24 what if you die first?

Leo never existed. he is an AI. When he shuts down, his cat (also an AI) will became new admin.

It looks OK. Okay, thanks for clarification!

@Thought Art That moment when you ask about a tech product and get a philosophical rant about why monitoring your health is bad and what you should prioritize in life... enough of this forum for today.

who can really say what's right or wrong when you're in tune with the flow of the universe? 😂
