  1. your questions are easily understood. The answers not so much. Consider that since god is all powerful and since you cant answer your own questions, ask then why would god decide to take his own power away, this might be a good place to start.
  2. If you don't agree with free will, you don't agree with infinity. Nothing can stop god from doing what it wants, otherwise it is not god.
  3. if there's one drug ill never do, its datura.
  4. @Razard86 Can't blame them tbh, no reason to go after it unless you really want it.
  5. @Razard86 Can I just check that you've had this realisation, the realisation that there are no lies, all illusion is absolute truth. Humans DO exist as an illusion. This is truth. Therefore the lie is still truth in that, that is exactly what it is. A lie, an illusion. Just so I don't miss understand you.
  6. yeah, although I wouldn't necessarily call it evil, just a need to not be tied down
  7. I think true visionaries are able to cultivate without the need for any dots to connect, they are able to synthesize novel ideas out of nothing. Then they connect it BACKwards so that it is able to meld with prior understanding in order to manifest it in the world. This is what original thought is. Visionaries basically have the most naturally limitless minds in society. They don't listen to anyone that imposes limits on them because they know how efficient their mind is at finding brand new solutions with ease. Leo is spot on about them having a specific temperament, they will straight up ignore anyone that tells them that something can't be done, and even cringe at them when they do so. They basically don't need any kind of framework to think from, they crave for that freedom. Whereas most others will feel unsafe and lost in it, they will feel at home. If the world was a keyhole, the visionary would find 1000 ways to unlock it without the key. And again like Leo said, it's important for them not to doubt themselves, they need to be possess some arrogance in order for them to not waste their gift.
  8. go travelling and have fun, you'll learn more. your 22, you've got all the time in the world to practise spirituality.
  9. I know, I think however towards the end he did start to get it, but it manifested in the form of horribly bad trips that would’ve shattered his mountains of stories he had. dennis McKenna has talked about this, that toward the end of Terence’s life he wasn’t “walking his talk” he wasn’t taking the heroic doses and going through with what he preached because he was scared.
  10. Depends on whether or not you think creativity correlates directly to awakening. If you were to say you understood creation in its complete entirety, I’d be inclined to agree that your pretty damn woke. I mean, what’s the difference between awakening and complete understanding of the creation of everything?
  11. I don’t think you need to take it to this extreme, yes your not going to fully understand what it’s like unless you live through it, but this is more enough to develop a decent level of appreciation. Depends on how far you want to take it.
  12. @Leo Gura what was the intention behind your build? Is it kind of a do it all PC with tonnes of storage? Cuz for that kind of money you could have got a much more powerful GPU and Skimped out on some other parts.
  13. Lol, wasn’t cheap, managed to get a pretty good deal, can’t wait to test this beast
  14. Martin ball has talked about Terence McKenna before, cant remember where I heard it but he said that he was utterly deluded and lost in fantasy. and I can clearly see that now, despite being fascinated by him in my teens.
  15. I mean this goes without saying doesn't it?
  16. Anyone running a 4090? I’ve got two on hand but am yet to build my pc.
  17. I get you, but I would class all of what you said as metaphysical, I suppose it’s just how you personally define metaphysical and where you place that distinction, the more conscious you get though you’ll probably drop the distinction altogether. Ill say it in a different way, material practicality for me would be survival incentives whereas metaphysical practicality would be love incentivised. Practicality in love I suppose would be things like finding the best way to apply more love into your life.
  18. yes I didn't mean it cant positively affect your life, I just meant that it doesn't fall into the traditional take on "practicality" such as achieving material goals you set for yourself. I guess I should've said that it can have metaphysical practicality, but of course this is not guaranteed.
  19. I agree, it’s a silly notion that at lot of new age spiritualists fall into.
  20. solipsism doesn't have practical implications on your life, this is awakening not success. You cant "do" anything with it so to speak.
  21. You do have to put in the hard work, I was just saying results don't directly come from it, they come from the person you become through the hard work of changing yourself not from "grinding" .
