  1. I'm a huge fan of audio books and listen to at least one a week on average . I don't think I made it through chapter 2 of that book. I'm sure there are valuable lessons to be gleaned from it but I think I've heard them all paraphrased by people much more intelligent than myself , and that'll have to do I suppose because.
  2. New Big Think video on Maslow and self transcendence.
  3. Nope. I apparently didn't take the risk of being scammed seriously enough and used a bunk source . You'd think I'd know better than that by now but I've made probably around 100 orders for various research chems over the past decade ranging from viagra to exemestane to etizolam to 1pLSD to 4-aco-dmt and never had a single issue so I rushed and didn't do the research I should have . Lesson learned .
  4. Not that I'm aware of. I guess there is as of now though! I'm 17 minutes into the one you posted and just saw Aubrey Marcus in it, the guy who made the documentary I posted. It's really good so far, thanks for sharing!
  5. I don't meditate immediately prior to the gym for this exact reason .
  6. I never finished it . The material was good but the technological delivery of it was pretty terrible unless there was just something I overlooked the whole time. Each "installation" is broken down into 10-20 chapters that are only a few minutes each. I never could get their content to work on the SoundCloud app so I was stuck listening to it through my browser , which means every 3-4 minutes you're reopening your phone to go back to the chapter selection and choose the next one. It's also extremely repetitive, it could easily be half its length and still teach you the same lessons. I could deal with the repetition of the same points over and over, just not the poor tech. The entire thing should have been downloadable as an audio book with each installation being a chapter , not each installation being 20 chapters that have to be listened to individually .
  7. Aubrey Marcus also just released this documentary on ayahuasca you can stream for free https://www.aubreymarcus.com/ayahuasca-documentary/ He has another one on huachuma too.
  8. I've been reading trip reports all evening and there doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason to the dose used vs the experience had by the user. It's all over the place . I'm guessing this might be due to variances in quality and purity but that's just speculation on my part . Part of me wants to start low because of the reports about ceasing respiration and heart palpitations but on the other hand too seems to cause all the anguish and none of the benefit . I'm gonna keep reading .

  10. There are 2 different forms of it, one snortable and one smokable . The snortable requires a slightly higher dosage .
  11. Yeah this is exactly why I chose 4aco initially over some of the other choices. I've always been such a big fan of the mellowness that accompanies a mushroom trip. The 4aco didn't disappoint in that regard. It was nearly indistinguishable from mushrooms, far cheaper, easier to obtain/grow, etc.
  12. Jesus, my bad, it was Ralston not Spira who I was thinking of . Sorry, I don't follow either of those guys so they are just names on a screen to me and I transposed the two.
  13. Thanks . I know nothing of Spira. Just that Leo had conducted an interview with him which he planned to release in the near future .
  14. It's definitely not Sam Harris . My guess is Rupert Spira but I'm totally speculating. Yes, no, no.
  15. Long time psychonaut here. Ordered some this morning and will report back with results once it arrives. I've used 4-aco-DMT several times and it's effects were honestly not much different than mushrooms but I know a small molecular change can make a HUGE difference so I'm excited for the experience. I'm with you, props to Leo for finally exploring this realm of self exploration/understanding/development. I had been following people like Joe Rogan, Aubrey Marcus, Graham Hancock, Duncan Trussell, Amber Lyon, Dr Chris Ryan, etc, who are all big proponents of DMT, Ayahausca, LSD & Mushrooms for years before I discovered Leo. I really resonated with these people and their worldview and it was disappointing to hear Leo shit on "drugs" in his earlier videos when I first discovered him. Glad to see he truly is as open minded as he professes to be
  16. Take this advice for what it's worth , I'm just a regular dude. Stop using a timer, it's just a distraction that causes constant thoughts like "I wonder how much time I have left" " I wonder if I'm halfway done yet" "why hasn't the timer gone off yet, I know it's been 20 minutes by now" . As far as sitting positions , I've found cross legged with my back against a wall for support to be the most comfortable . I get too tired sitting on a comfy couch and I lack the flexibility to maintain an upright posture to sit cross legged with no back support . Also, I made a homemade meditation schedule and taped it to the wall where I sit. Monday is loving kindness, then death contemplation, then vipassana , then strong determination , then do nothing , then vipassana again, then a guided meditation of my choice which is generally some kind of self inquiry . This keeps things from getting boring.
  17. If I had written a summary of myself and how I got here I'd only need to change the part about infinite waters and the other guy for your OP to fit me perfectly .
  18. This is the latest interview with Wim Hof by one of my favorite living humans. https://player.fm/series/tangentially-speaking-with-dr-christopher-ryan/204-wim-hof-the-iceman
  19. Google the Good Friday Marsh Chapel experiment .
  20. Can you be more specific about what type of content you're searching for? Or at least your health and/or physique goals? I know some good YouTube channels and podcasts but would like to refine them to your specific interest before just making a random list of every nutrition related channel I follow.
  21. I did too, and I've managed to "detach" from it, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend the route I took. Can you clarify what you mean a little when you say "detach from it"?
  22. http://www.livestrong.com/article/471722-why-do-cucumbers-upset-my-digestion/ http://www.livestrong.com/article/546076-tomato-intolerance-and-digestive-symptoms/ It's not the healthy diet in general, it's likely just one particular food item you've chosen. Try switching it up.
  23. Judging by what you listed there it looks like you went from eating a shit ton of calories a day to barely any. Maybe you're just experiencing hunger pangs? Maybe your "constipation" is just a normal bowel movement frequency? Maybe you have a food allergy to one of the foods you switched to. For instance, if I eat raw broccoli or raw cauliflower I get unbearable gas pains and stomach bloat where I looks like I swallowed a watermelon. But I can eat those same foods well cooked with no issues. Certain plants release chemicals/enzymes that upset the digestive tracts of potential predators as a protective mechanism. I would try different healthy foods and try to pin point the one that's giving you problems over a period of time.
  24. Take your console and all your games to the nearest Goodwill and consider it the biggest favor you've ever done for yourself
  25. Go watch Going Clear and get back to us with YOUR thoughts.
