@Princess Arabia okay thanks yeh I don’t eat any of the low quality foods you mentioned. In the UK so our foods standards are better than the US - we are going that way though as a country! Tbh I think I need to slow down when I’m eating and also just be more mindful when eating out.

Typically I have yoghurt and fruit in the morning, scrambled egg for lunch then could be anything from lasagne to beef stew i did used to eat one meal a day but would have a very large portion and this I don’t believe was any good. I’m quite a quick eater as well so need to slow down im going to try fasting for a day or two. It’s the inflammation I need to bring down. Also been looking at nutritionists to get a bespoke understanding. my body is really not cut out for junk food

@FlyingLotus thanks for putting this together

@Princess Arabia it’s still better than some of the WhatsApp groups I’m in with friends. Honestly the bs they chit chat. WhatsApp is a curse I can chat the shit sometimes but I can’t do that as much as they do

@Miguel1 the key is to not hold back your intent. That’s where the friction is like when you try to be cool by trying to be detached which makes you blunder. You have to just lean into the intent and honest in your manner with how you’re feeling towards a woman

I have been thinking about trying day game. I don’t like clubbing can’t get in the mood Cafes to me seem the best bet. It’s just having that opportunity to arise naturally like when the waitress brings you food/coffee and there’s a spark Yeh London will be amazing for girls

@HMD I do also know what you mean. I find I have times when I have a deep knowing into the nature of reality and then other times I have to proactively remind myself of the insights One insight is that the majority of my life is out of my control and that I have to let the universe decide. Let myself off the hook. To know this is the only way to truly let go In this respect don’t try and force insights and profound connection as that’ll just hamper it. Your best bet is find more time to be mindful and enjoy those times. So you are not seeking you are just enjoying being in the moment for me, it’s connecting with the nature that I really enjoy and helps me to be mindful. I am not looking for answers I am just connecting and then if the universe wants to show you something it will psychedelics will also help connect you to the spirit but even with that you cannot force the insights -

@Hojo Blessings man 🙏🙏 -
I’m curious to know how others on here respond to unconscious habits around family members especially for those that have experienced a challenging childhood I speak with my mum often but I find I get easily wound up when she doesn’t listen to me or just simply does not understand. I especially get wound up when her actions are influenced by her partner who she has been with for about 26 years. When I was growing up he was a negative influence on my life. He is a very low conscious person let’s just say I have actually managed to let go of a hell of a lot but still there is that dysfunction. I don’t want to get so annoyed with my mum because I love her but the history remains which is triggering.

Chadders replied to KoryKat's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@KoryKat I would say Eckhart is the most spiritually attuned guru type person. Leo has said that the god realisation he talks about is not understood by most gurus as they are not awakened enough. With Eckhart I would say that is not the case. He also talks about god realisation and doesn’t advocate shutting yourself away from the material world either like some gurus do He is not as direct as Leo but everything I have heard from Leo, Eckhart has also touched on in his own way Edit - he’s not the typical guru but I do like Ken Wilber -

@Hojo sorry to hear that man. It’s tough when the cards feel so stacked against you in early life. We can be grateful that it is part of the awakening process I never felt grounded growing up. Parents split when I was very young and met new partners. My mum’s partner is a dick. I think that’s the biggest trigger is knowing she is influenced by him far too much. My mum is highly creative and intuitive and she could have done so much more with her life. He has robbed her of confidence and independence. It is what it is now but still it pisses me off and I struggle to let go completely -
Chadders replied to SQAAD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SQAAD interesting point. Like you it was after discovering Leo’s material that spirituality really opened up to me. I can only think of this from the perspective that you are the universe and that you are witnessing this mindless suffering around you creating a desire to do something about it. Suffering is universal and it is the fundamental driver for us in pursuing awakening to transcend it. To witness the suffering in others moves you to not only transcend in yourself but help society transcend as well. It may seen mindless but perhaps it actually has a purpose in moving you to do something about it? You are the universe after all If we take it from the radical perspective that you are the only conscious thing in the universe because you are the universe it makes sense to me because it moves you to do something about it. If we take the other stand that there are separate consciousness then that doesn’t make sense to me -
lol don’t worry man you are definitely not too old You have plenty of time to attract the women. Women typically will go for older guys anyway around 10-15 years older and this is becoming more common - I have noticed this a lot more in the world of dating apps where young women have so much choice. Actually you are at a disadvantage. You are 28 with less experience and maturity and will be less settled than the average 38 year old. Women always prefer more experienced guys My advice focus on your own self development and where you want to be in life edit this is why young men are disproportionately single so it is perfectly normal and young women the reverse. Women make the most of when they’re young and more physically attractive I actually prefer older women in their 30s who are typically more mature

It has become so much more apparent to me that higher consciousness is the key to becoming a highly sophisticated species. This is obvious for us spiritually attuned I know, but I was contemplating science and the nature of quantum mechanics. How particles are directly influenced by observation alone. This is a bread crumb from the universe that is basically hinting that you are the universe and your consciousness is what gives material reality its existence. Again for us spiritual people this is quite obvious but if we apply to a scientific field the potential is huge If scientists were to actually embrace the role of consciousness in understanding reality and expanded their consciousness as part of scientific pursuits then we would begin to discover new ways to manipulate our material reality. So those same quantum particles that scientists are baffled by, we will be able to manipulate them through our consciousness bringing into existence new discoveries and technologies to advance humanity. I believe it is only by doing this that we will ever become a space faring civilisation Wouldn't it be amazing if scientists actually took this on board and applied to their work?

I enjoyed watching the video Leo posted with this Japanese anime dude who’s highly creative (can’t remember his name) so I wondered am I an artist? I’m definitely more on the creative side than a logical one. My power is in being creative and intuitive rather than logical, but I don’t believe I have a burning desire to create art in that way. I do however have a burning desire to inspire and elevate people’s consciousness to improve collective society and ultimately we both have the same desire, albeit he does it through the medium of art, and I do it through social engagement and communication Interesting. Find a way to change the world for the better but through what medium is the question? Art, science, politics, business etc the desire is the same in all of us at a conscious level but only the medium is different. Find your medium

@coburn sometimes we are triggered by flaws in others that are in ourselves that we dislike. Or perhaps there’s something this person has that deep down you desire so you have created this negative perception just thoughts. FYI I have experienced both of the above which is why I say this How to not be triggered is to first accept that you are triggered and not fight that. Go deeper into spirit and spend time in nature or wherever you feel most conscious to reflect aside from this the person might just be a dick in which case don’t spend time with them

@Leo Gura you have had insights I have not yet become fully conscious of such as god realisation but then I have not done dmt yet so maybe. Would you consider the book you're working on as the greatest expression of your art?
-
@Danioover9000 here’s us contemplating whether we are artists yet this elephant is the greatest artist among us lol
-
@Leo Gura okay perhaps that’s kinda the same for me in through my own awareness raising I see it artistry more clearly now. You are more conscious than me Leo so will have more insight!
-
@Leo Gura was that from a conscious realisation that you became aware of that?

Chadders replied to Buck Edwards's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Buck Edwards I think what is absolutely crucial is that any spiritual community allows members to explore spirit in their own way and there is no right or wrong. We are all together on our own journey exploring conscious reality and the people can explore other people’s awareness's for themselves that way this is absolutely crucial or like you say will be toxic -
Reigning from UK in Nottinghamshire. The home of the Robin Hood I think it’s a great idea to connect with like minded spiritual people that want to explore it.

@Danioover9000 hello I have just caught up with all this. I’m fine thanks hope you are well I’m working on a business so that takes up most of my time. Have been doing that today. On Leo’s comment about aesthetic beauty I do like the aesthetic beauty and have a connectedness to it that I experience especially in nature. One thing I’d say with the business that I have enjoyed doing the most is graphic design. I do all of that myself. I’d like to think I am an artist but that is up to others to judge - art is highly subjective. I fucking hate admin tasks and technical stuff which to me is anti art lol (feels machine) - I try to delegate that perhaps it’s not a binary thing that you are or are not but it’s on a spectrum. Some people are highly attuned whilst others moderately. A lot will depend on your level consciousness to connect with the beauty and recreate your own if I compare myself now to how I was 10 years ago I would say I was less of an artist back then. It feels to me that my creative side has been mostly dormant and it’s only as I have expanded my consciousness that I have begun to delve into the creative ways more as a source of joy. I did enjoy painting models as a kid though. @Leo Gura any thoughts? Would you say your artistic nature has blossomed more with conscious development that you would now consider yourself an artist as opposed to younger Leo? Was younger Leo an artist? actually on a side note as I think about it it does piss me off that in the domain of politics it’s mostly filled by technocrats and not leaders. True leaders are artists not hacks. This is the problem we have. We need truly inspiring people that connect people to higher ideals. These technocrats are managers designed for admin roles. They rely so much on data data data obsessing over polls and numbers. They agonise over it. Not that it isn’t important but their reliance on external data points and metrics tells me they have no fucking idea what they are doing. Their reality is determined by numbers rather than deeply knowing at an intuitive level what people want. In the business world Steve jobs had the intuition and didn’t agonise over data all the time. What people say they want and what they actually want can often be different as with politics it’s the shame with shallow corporations that have lost their soul. Their entire business is driven by big data not intuition and beauty around making great products

@Rigel it’s brilliant I have three categories. One for general reminders, one for my business and one for occasions like birthdays, Mother’s Day etc as I never remember that! I do go for walks a lot in nature and deliberately don’t take my phone with me but often have insights. Need to start taking a notepad out rather than rushing back once I have the insights to include on the notes app!

@bebotalk Tricky one. I’m not so sure I agree. I have met women who were very attractive body and in soul I find the key factor is age. Women under 30 tend to be more immature and materialistic and that is a turn off for me. So those girls, yes some can be narcissists but they will grow out of that (hopefully)
