  1. been experimenting with metta for more or less 5 min at the end of each sit and maaan, that shit is powerful. to all meditation geeks I highly recomend this. its simple: find a pleasant sensation on the body and focus on that, after some time when you are set try to start to evoke the purest type of love you are capable of, let it flood the room. that simple. its also great for dealing with people. when you are dealing with the average confused human it can really lighten their load (for a while)
  2. Wanted to share some maps and map explanations I found surfing on -supposedly- arhat Daniel Ingram website. Apparently they are a expansion of the vipassana map and the jhanas map. I found them very interesting and so might you.   3. angulimala, a serial killer from the time of the buddha set out to kill him.. after he found the buddha walking down a street, he started to run after him to finish him.. but although angulimala was running and the Buddha was only walking, angulimala could never reach him.. after he exhausted himself, angulimala screamed at the Buddha, asking him to stop. To wich the Buddha answered: "I have stopped long ago. When will you stop?" after that angulimala became a monk and attained arhatship (the story is a liitle longer, this is somewhat resumed)
  4. Leo's new videos inspired me to bring this up. The points brought up in this paper have made me think for some 2-3 weeks now.. Deep stuff that will make you reflect even if you- like me-don't really understand physics..   5. What does it entail? How is one to go about it? Can one master it? Are there better or worse types of folly? Are there good fools and evil fools? etc etc.. please just type whatever comes to your head about the concept, this is for erm.. research purposes..

  7. @AlwaysBeNice @Leo Gura yeah on my next try I'm planing on using just 1 or 2 ml of oil, as there was inevitable small quantity that slided down the last time. LOL
  8. @zikzak for plugging HCl i used just 5 ml of pure water, which was enough to dissolve all of it. I only had near to breakthrough experiences with HCl when using more than 50 mg.. I was thinking my 5-meo was impure but maybe there are some degrading enzymes at the rectum that are reponsible for these dosages..
  9. @AlwaysBeNice haha thats top nice of you (get it?).. I just ran out of HCl to shove up my butt and didn't want to smoke the freebase. So I figured that if freebase was not solvable in water, it would in a nonpolar solvent. After verifying that olive oil enemas are ok and actually still used today, I decided to try it out. to add a little to what i've said, the only reason I'm posting this here is because i didn't see any other method of plugging freebase out there yet.
  10. so, i want to report some findings.. I've discovered that it is possible to administrate 5-meo-dmt freebase rectally by dissolving it in olive oil. To do so it is important to use the syringe and repeatedly fill it with the mixture and then empty it on the bowl you are using so as to dissolve the most of the substance. The trip with this method was quite smooth, with the coming up taking some 15-20 min and the gereneral feeling of the whole thing being waay less edgy. I've read somewhere that the freebase has an easier time going through body barriers so maybe thats why. For this trip i used some 30 mg in 5 ml of oil, but didn't break throght, whatever that means.. Personally i enjoy the plugging method most whether it be with HCl in water or freebase in oil, as i don't want to scare myself to death with smoking. But I've found the freebase with oil even more enjoyable and educational than the HCl with water. So, hope that mey be of use to someone. Cheers

  14. @Vercingetorix just a good standart to how fast you should be noticing flickering sensations. If you can/want to do it faster (like 40 per second) its even better

  18. really nice if you wanna have a good focus on the body or enter formless concentrations states also very educative on how the mind keeps producing the center point through mental images
  19. @Naviy and note FAST. you need to be able to 'know' 10-15 sensations/second. also, it doens't matter if you know what the sensations are, but you need to know what they ARE (kkkk im dead serious) drop to the level of bare sensations and invetigate their unsatisfactoriness, selflessness and impermanence, mind-moment to mind-moment
  20. the best enlightenment items I've found in my experience are lsd, mushrooms, weed and ayahuasca hahah. also, retreats and hardships.
  21. are you hurting yourself? if so it's better to find another position. You can sit on a chair, or meditate in other positions such as standing, walking or reclining as these are as valuable as sitting if you apply the technique correctly if it's just pain and discomfort stay with it. Try to notice how pain or ich is just a bunch o momentary vibrations/mind moments bunched together and notice how each "pixel" that composes it arises and passes away simultaneously, this should ease a bit of the discomfort.
