  1. Great explanation by Aron Abke.
  2. Both public intellectuals touch upon different ideas and concepts in this brilliant podcast. Worth listening.
  3. This was on last December when I struggled even for food. Today I was gifted a free Christmas cake by a website. I immediately grabbed it. I'm blessed. I got free food on Christmas. That's how the Lord blesses my faith. Even though I suffer misery, God does find a way to surprise me with little miracles. This is my Christmas cheer, my Christmas eggnog and the whole 9 yards. God didn't let me sleep hungry. God found a way to bless me on Christmas. Yay. I'll enjoy the cake now. What a feast!
  4. You can't tell a mentally ill person - just go work. Get a job. Get a life. It doesn't work like that. I'm not mentally prepared for a job. Not yet. My depression and mental issues means it won't help me hold on to a job. I used to work a few years ago but my mental issues became severe and I quit. There is a certain level of mental fitness necessary to have the motivation and energy to work which is hard when one cannot even get out of bed. My psychiatrist knows this and she is very patient with me. She works with a large number of clients with similar issues who are unemployed too. The problem is not exactly employment but the lack of employability The people who hire me will start complaining soon enough that I'm unfit to work because of my mental challenges. The same has happened in the past. So first I need to get myself emotionally and psychologically together before I'm ready to feel productive.. Lots of mentally ill people quit jobs everyday.. People call me unhinged, crazy, lunatic. Well I have already said that I'm mentally ill. It's a shame that mental illness is not properly understood by general society. Just demonized, judged or invalidated.
  5. So Maynor gave me this advice. For long timebound challenges -- my tip would be to make a journal with a line for each day. Review in the am and then check off in the pm. Long timebound challenges can be hard. It's worth it though because doing something and failing is still better than never trying something at all. But if you want to do this, try to do it with accountability. Even if you have to write "didn't do" each day. I fail hard in my long timebound challenges (100 day challenges) but I still end up ahead of where I would be if I didn't do it. Just reviewing it and making a note on it everyday will start by law of attraction to keep it with you which starts to change you inside.

  10. For the next 150 days I want to be cold and hard and focus precisely on my goals as much as I can. This is a golden opportunity for it. I must grab. I have specifically downloaded an app for this and I'll be recording my progress here. It's called Reach it Goals. I want to eat a wholesome breakfast in the morning although I can't afford it. Maybe a day will come when that will be possible I should also put it up on a writing board or something. All of the things that will help me become proactive in pursuing my goals The past couple of days were spent lazying around. Screenshot of the app. What are the tools I'll need -vision board - progress log or record - accountability record - logging record - tracking record - daily logging - productivity articles - productivity tips - perfect organization - productivity skills Action server Addiction server Attitude server Body work server Boundaries server Collaborative server Commitment server Confidence server Contribution server Creating server Diet food drink server Distraction server Emotional mastery server Energy server Fail Forward server Fear and worry server Feminine dev server Financial health server Focus server Happiness server Habits server Hate languages server Healing server Knowledge server Law of attraction server Life purpose career server Life purpose general server Love languages server Magic and truth server Marriage dev server Meditation server Mental health server Mind work server Narratives server Optimism server Organized server Persistence server Persona server Physical health server Politics server Prioritization server Proactive initiative server Raising standards server Relations server Responsibility server Rest and recreation server Sleeping server Spirituality server Thoughts and emotions server Productivity server Accountability server
  11. I am now more focused on the idea of building my life..
  12. I want to begin with thinking how life actually begins. I want to imagine a large wood block out of which I'm cutting and creating logs and planks and slowly building a home. Little by little, slowly I'm building a door, every door every window. One of the creative powers is to eliminate negativity.
