@Joshe why does Elon think this is a moral issue? -

That's beautiful. Wish I could be that carefree. But I'm way too clingy. I think about every little thing, every doubt, every ambition, every silly goal. The stage Orange in me does not let me rest. -

Yea this is what I predict. I wish he does something and Nancy Pelosi moves forward for an impeachment trial. -

It won't be that way. Democracy's evolution over time will give rise to something more intelligent and complex like meritocracy. But for that democracy has to survive this oligarchy. Or it could be that such oligarchy will fuel the middle classes to clash against the elite establishment and this could be a revolutionary extension to something much more complex and highly evolved in the future. We need highly intelligent non corrupt highly conscious minds to come together for that, someone that the public can place their trust into, which is sadly an outcome of chance. -

There will be a time in the distant future where democracy will be challenged. It won't be now. -

Yes that's a valid point. But look who we voted in. This goes to show that democracy is not without folly. -

A bad monarch. -

You think people in the dark ages lived much worse than us? What's the evidence? Just history books cherry picking gore aspects of the era like the guillotine. What makes you think people weren't happy? What makes you think people are happier today than ancient times? Look what we have done. We just have some kind tech billionaire technocracy and nobody gives a damn about the middle class. At least the middle class survived in the dark ages. You wouldn't be here if they had perished. -

I mean if people elect a monarch through majority, that might appear like monarchy, it is still a democracy because it's BY THE PEOPLE. It's how tribes used to survive in olden days in stage red society. It's not democracy by concept or definition, yet people are happy because they have someone leading them that is in harmony with their values. It's a stronger more stage red tribal form of democracy. You'll see this in ancient tribes. -

What's your definition of a benevolent monarch? Don't tell me Trump. -
Whitney Edwards replied to manuel bon's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
This is possible if the democracy is much stronger than what we have now. By that I mean people gathering in large groups and protesting bad decisions to elect a fair monarch. But it seems the American people made a huge mistake in electing Trump. He is by no means a fair monarch and now it would be almost impossible to change his policies and orders. He might even go against the constitution. -

What do you cling to in life? -

This is true. But the media calling him out cannot change his decisions and the outcome of those decisions. Like he banned trans in the military. These decisions will impact people mentally as well as their livelihoods. So. That aspect cannot be handled. It's just that he is the president and he can sign any executive order and that's a threat to the integrity of the people. I mean the consequences remain. -
I've noticed that you use a variety of chemicals, LSD, and psychotropic drugs. Have they helped you get stronger or sharper? How have they impacted your life?

It would be nice if you directly talk in the video. The animation is not that good. But it's a good start. Videos are generally more interesting if a person is directly talking facing the camera.

Do you think calling him out will do anything? -
I think communication improves connection and emotional empathy. Maybe you take her out hiking. Maybe you both can explore connecting to each other empathetically but that would need mutual cooperation and adjustment.

Some level of lack of calibration is okay. Even necessary. As we don't want to be too conformist. Diverse perspectives are always difficult to entertain. Like they say, you can't please everyone. What you can do is find like minded people. A healthy dose of conservatism is actually good. -
OK. Best.
