  1. Consciousness is permanent therefore consciousness cannot be knowledge. If you think knowledge is not sufficient, it's because it's temporary.
  2. I don't think this is True. A realization, insight, knowledge are temporary things. They help us understand reality. But a state of consciousness is permanent.
  3. Awakening is not an insight. It's a state of consciousness. Then how can it be false?
  4. This is excellent. I view enlightenment in a similar way.
  5. I would love to have a long discussion with you about the nature of existential loneliness. It's interesting to me because I haven't experienced something like this, or maybe I have. I'm not sure what this experience really feels like. Do you get a lot of questions in mind? Is it similar to nihilism? This experience must be unique and I would love to know more.
  6. What work do you do that makes you come to such a realization and how do you know if such a realization is rooted in truth?
  7. Have you thought of asking AI about the solutions?
  8. I call that Satan meditation. I used to do that. It used to cause me deep pain and suffering but liberating at the same time. It used to take my impurities out, like a filtering process. I confessed a lot of the bad stuff I did and it set me free. It's intense like shadow work but it's a good tool for moral development. I had a journal long ago where I discussed it in depth.
  9. I request you to make a thread on your realizations from all of your psychedelic trips valentin.
  10. How to go deeper and deeper into spirituality everyday? What specific practice would you recommend?
  11. I'm excited too. Cozy cuddle evenings with coffee and toast. (hot hot coffee and tons of blankets)
  12. Sweet. Thanks for the response hun.
  13. @r0ckyreed You have worded your post really well. Unfortunately I don't know how to answer your topic. You are right in a way. But that's not to mean that everything we know is false. It's a matter of understanding and perspective. It's how your mind molds things and makes a sense of reality. So everyone in a way has their own version of truth that makes sense to them, maybe not to others. You have to do a comparative analysis where you match your theory with practical observations and that's the only way you'll have at least an iota of understanding of the truth. Your mind grasps reality to the extent that it gleans something from it, usually this is tied to our survival biases so a lot of what we glean from the environment is based on our own biases and dissonances and we are often looking to confirm them. You can't test reality because what will you test it against, there's no fundamental block of truth out there. Whatever knowledge we have learned so far, it has only been tested through empirical research over the years and this research is rooted in science and science also has its own limitations. So you're right, we cannot really know the truth. Yet we can compromise with the truth to the extent to which it aids in our survival and understanding of human existence.
  14. Did you hone this skill over years and years or were you always really good at this from the start? I really struggle in this area and I have been struggling for 7 years now. I see very little improvements in myself and really slow. I wish I could read like you, it would be awesome to do that. I get very bogged down and tired after just reading a few lines. Are there any special tricks you use to make your reading interesting and motivating? I suck at it and I'm still trying hard to make reading as palatable as possible. Also what's better for you, reading versus listening to audio books. I struggle with autism so listening to audio books is an over stimulation for me.
  15. Isn't biases a good thing in a way? You get to study those biases and reflect on them and that way you get a taste of human idiosyncrasies and you can notice them in yourself if you happen to do the same. In a way it's learning from others mistakes. Like Leo did the video on traps. Yes we can be repulsed by people's biases but it also becomes a good case study.
  16. What kind of dreams would you have if you were high consciousness?
  17. First start with a small group of students and build a robust curriculum.
  18. Why is religion and spirituality bullshit? Can you elaborate please?
  19. I wish someone could give a clear breakdown of these in words as in description.
  20. Yes you're right. A lot of my insecurities revolve around people and Socializing. Even being on this forum makes me regularly insecure.
  21. I feel insecure about how the other person perceives me. I care too much if I feel I might be offending someone especially a loved one. I feel insecure presenting myself to people in a crowd. I feel people will mock me in some way or mock my intelligence. Deep buried insecurities but I don't know what to do about them.
  22. @Buck Edwards @Hojo another gem. It's been healing for me. @Hojo I can't believe that I listened to it and it helped me in energetic release of some of my trauma. Thank you for making this thread.
  23. Serpents have always been good for me. They hold a high ground in traditional systems like Buddhism and Hinduism.
  24. The kind of platform that she has, there's absolutely no excuse for what she did and the poor example she set. The entire video is an endless stream of her wrongdoings, time to call her out, in fact she needs to be dismissed from her job, her list of wrongdoings piled up to an inexcusable level, it's strange what people can get away with in America if they hold power. This is not so much about her being pressured as much about her taking advantage of her influence and getting away with a lot. If she was unaware of what she was doing from time to time, it's a serious lack of integrity and somebody needed to hold her accountable. Anyways I wanted to vent out and I'm done with it.
