Yea they feel too old inside because they have to consume so much of the world at such a fast pace. Thanks to social media. Bad diet can make people age faster too. But most importantly, even if they don't look old, them feeling old is an indicator that they have to rapidly engage with the world and life in a short span of time due to technology which means stress and over consumption, so they are learning things faster than they mature emotionally or mentally, contributing to the feeling of being "old" inside. Mental processing is surpassing the pace of natural aging. That's when "feeling old" happens. I mean even 12 year Olds talk about sex. So no surprise they must feel old at 21.

@Sugarcoat I don't know what you exactly mean by average. It might help If you enlist some traits of what you would consider normal. Of course normal is very subjective. One person's normal is another person's disorder.

@Princess Arabia very good post. I really like this post. I think the phrase "rapidly aging" can be replaced by "premature aging," I think that's what you're looking for. Premature aging seems a huge problem these days because of a modern lifestyle imbued by technology. I think you're right. It's an assault on our reptilian brain that is not designed to consume information at this rate. It eats away our mental energy very rapidly. And as we know our mind and Mental energy is deeply connected to our physical health, so it probably produces a lof of free radicals and stress hormones in the body leading to the typical fight or flight response almost all the time like the alarm never shuts down, it's always on and this could trigger premature aging of the body cells. This is visible in rapid premature greying of hair and a constant state of fatigue leading to pressure on the adrenal.. Constant high cortisol level. By the way we hardly ever touch grass these days. At least I haven't. So many emails and messages to attend to between family commitments that I forgot what grass looks like.

@Spiritual Warfare Maybe you are looking for validation of your own opinion. I don't know.. I see lots of people come and go on the forum everyday. Different kinds. Most don't persist for very long here. They stay around a month and get bored and walk away. They assume they own the forum. Or they own people's opinions. It's very odd and sometimes amusing to watch that. It doesn't go down well. They end up getting warning points for being too conservative or too attached to their unconscious opinions. It feels like they think the world revolves around their fingers. They have a preoccupation and with wanting to impose their worldview on to others. The world has to be their way or no way. It's as if they are policing the world without ever being assigned such a role or ever being put in such a position in the present or the future, I mean they aren't some political leader but they come here wearing a proverbial presidential hat of some sort. Then they get frustrated when people don't agree with them, which is a natural course of things,as it should be. But they are hell bent that the world accept their opinion or even change to their tunes, as though it would be a disaster or End Times coming if that didn't happen. It reeks of wanting and seeking control, a sort of prepubescent preoccupation with the workings of the world and the overarching need to control it. The world will always move organically in the direction it should, whether you like it or not. People will be assimilated, accommodated for one way or another. The real truth of the matter lies in realizing one's own helplesssness in wanting to change that which will come with time and maturity. -
I asked chat gpt about this (ironic) and this is what it has to say on the topic of technology and it's impact on human mental health — Constant exposure to technology is overwhelming the reptilian brain, leading to increased anxiety, depression, and loneliness. Technology is overloading the brain: The rapid pace of technological advancement is forcing the brain to process information at a rate it's not accustomed to. Disconnection from nature: Excessive technology use is leading to a disconnect from nature, which is essential for human well-being. Impact on mental health: The strain on the brain is contributing to rising rates of mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. It's important to note that while these concerns are valid, there is no scientific consensus on the extent to which technology is negatively impacting the brain. More research is needed to fully understand the effects of technology on human psychology and behavior.

I think you should also consider the safety of people who belong to the LGBT community. They might not feel safe entering either restroom because they often get physically assaulted by people who don't like them or bear a strong hatred towards their community. Think about that for a second. So maybe the LGBT community folks need their own separate restrooms for the sake of their safety. -
Diwali lights in my balcony.

I feel the same way. It's disappointing.

Diwali lamp at my home.

Finally my Diwali celebration video uploaded on my YouTube channel.

Then we bought a few gift hampers for our neighbors. These are sweets we distribute to our friends, relatives and neighbors on Diwali. I found nice red colored baskets with red mesh veil to cover it. It looks cute.

It's a big day for our family. I decorated the floor outside my apartment with designs made out of colored powder. These are called rangolis. I placed Lotus shaped lamps at the door corners. And a beautiful red doormat. Then I placed the huge lamp at the center of it. The other smaller lamp is called Samai in Hindu language.
-
I will share a video in the end of all the decorations.
-
I also bought a beautiful lamp hanging for my door. One can place a tea light candle holder in it. It's the most beautiful piece I bought this festival season.
-
Then I bought some more lamps. These are for my dining table. As Diwali Decor.
-
We put this door hanging on. And I had to assemble a huge diya stand or lamp stand. Lot of hard work went into decorating and assembling everything. Assembled it. This is how it looks when fully lighted with clay pot lamps.
-
And I bought a ton of gift boxes this Diwali. Diwali is for 5 days. Some drinks that I'm currently addicted to. My mom bought these lights. Like a string of lights. They look beautiful. I bought a ton of lamps. They are called diyas.
-
So my mom bought this for the door decoration. It's my mom standing in the Pic.
-
Diwali wishes to all Hindus.
