  1. Nothing really changed. I still have my desires and habits - good or bad. If anything, psychological suffering is completely gone.
  2. All of those beings you listed below are no more "awake" than the one reading this reply. If you enjoy Buddhism, do that.
  3. God

@Razard86 That is classic solipsism. There is no "you" to even be alone.
  4. @davecraw Yes, of course. I guess what I meant to say is that ultimately, that kind of stuff comes and goes. I don’t hang on to it. It is not the ultimate truth.
  5. Step outside of the mind. The mind will never know. Gently visit the fact of your being. That’s all you need.
  6. I know nothing. Knowledge comes and goes. Your existence does not.
  7. I also wanted to add, I too used to view others as "enlightened," thinking they had or unlocked something I did not already have. Little did I know, I am already that. You are already that. The Self, God, Source whatever term you want to call it.
  8. There are no enlightened people. Ultimately, there is no "enlightenment" or "awakening." Who would be enlightened? The ego? If the ego is seen to be false, who or what is enlightened or awakened? Just come back to the fact of your own existence, your very own being. That is all the "enlightenment" you'll ever need, for that is all there is.
  9. God

Your family members exist just as much as you reading this reply. It's just that they are not separate from you. The dream analogy is the best analogy for this: In a dream, you play a dream character. In your dream, you see other dream characters (and objects). All the dream characters and objects, including the dream character you take yourself to be are all of the same substance, consciousness. Consciousness is "playing" all the roles, and there is no separation. I wouldn't read into this stuff too much. The mind loves to turn it into something it is not, and invariably scares itself.
  10. Solipsism is only scary for the ego, which does not exist on its own to begin with.
  11. Sort of a click-bait title using God in there, I admit. Really, what you are is prior to God, the body, mind, sensations, birth, death, time and space, being and non-being. You are the reality. Point blank. There is nothing beyond non-conceptual awareness. Nothing to seek, nothing to find.
  12. @Thought Art Pretty much. I tread lightly saying that, because the mind loves to conceptualize that image. But I can finally just move on with my life without worries, doubt or suffering. Really, nothing was stopping it, just my own ignorance.
  13. @Thought Art I do love surprises. But to whom does the deepening or surprises appear to? You, non-conceptual awareness. That, which you already are, reading this reply.
  14. @Thought Art Know what? What is to be known? Reality? You are the reality. The mind can never know your being, because the mind itself appears in that.
  15. No, if they were, they would not have committed their massacre.
  16. The body does not want to die.
  17. Sure, but the experience is not needed. There is no need for mystical experiences. Experiences come and go, but you don't.
  18. Yes, there are the appearance of awakenings. Appearing in what? Non-conceptual awareness. Regardless of any "awakenings," awareness is, and shall always be.
  19. There is no awakening. What is, is what is. Are you aware? Do you exist? Are you aware that you exist? There you go. It is already the case.
  20. Nope. If the appearance of suffering arises, it is quickly recognized for what it is. Just thoughts.
