  1. All good, but please replace this word with narcissism in your thesaurus. Pour encourager les autres
  2. Have you done 5 Meo @Water by the River ? Because from your description "not fully empty" doesn't resonate here. There isn't a separate self to be empty or not, it's only on the comedown when the separate self reassembles that the non-experience is re-contextualized into whatever the separate self deems worthy or valuable. This is why meditation and/or realizing the true nature of thoughts is very important in this work @Breakingthewall, since 5 MeO will show the Truth (and this is not a precise description, better [but still imperfect] would be that there is only Truth, without it being 'shown' to anyone), but then this will be "understood" or "integrated" on the comedown and in coming days by whatever concepts the separate self maintains at the time. If it deems it still needs "others", then 5 MeO will have showed that the One Consciousness is in others as well. If it deems "I'm not worthy" for whatever reason, then 5 MeO will have showed more trips needed to purify myself. But, if through consistent meditation/contemplation, the separate self is mostly empty, the 5MeO energy will be less diminished by the need to disassemble a heavy separate self. @Water by the River I appreciate a lot your/Brown's take on the nature of thoughts, but I think on this website, majority of readers will go over your text, think about it for a minute, "understand it", then move on with their life, not sensing that the most important in your descriptions will be the actual practice.
  3. @Water by the River I'm buying what you're selling ?, I never got to read Ken Wilber, but can you write a few words of what "thoughts" are in your opinion, do they play any role in any of this? Is focusing on discovering the true nature of thoughts valuable, or too reductionistic? Thanks.
  4. Noone has had an easy life. So be noone. "But Leo, my mind tells me all these things about reality, and since you're my idol and I'm a philosophy student I need to endlessly mentally masturbate" Go on then.
  5. It's not clear to me what you consider the definition of understanding, and how it relates (if it does) to mental concepts
  6. You have a bias against people that do not admit their bias
  7. I listened to a bit of Jeff Foster some time ago, but then his health problems (was it Lyme disease?) knocked him back down a few pegs. His texts from that time made me question the depth of his awakening, he behaved like a 'normal human' in the face of suffering... nothing wrong with that, but not someone I would look up to in spirituality.
  8. I took some after your previous post but don't have the same effects as you. With increasing dose, it feels like too much caffeine in my system. I don't take any other meds, antidepressants or psychedelics and was not diagnosed with a mental illness.
  9. 20mg is an in-between, can be barely noticeable or can be quite difficult, but not enough for a breakthrough. Different kettle of fish if you smoke it.
  10. Are you judging me for judging myself? Otherwise why have this "thou shall not... " commandment? "I"... am not. Same as "everyone" is not.
  11. Yes, I used one for ALA, the only thing is the machine cannot compress the powder as dense as the pre-capped, so instead of 5-600mg capsules I'd have 450mg homemade ALA capsules.
  12. "Union of two bodies" is still masturbation ?
  13. Orgasm is enlightenment for the body
  14. So you feel special to have stumbled across these 'teachings', that's cool... now, what's next? Have you had a taste of the opposite of a "person", however "sophisticated" that person may be?
  15. I wouldn't care to guess who the "certain others" are... but why do you think Martin has an inflated sense of ego? If anything, to me he has a no bullshit approach, cutting through most spiritually-sounding explanations for reality. I also have bilateral movements when vaping 5 Meo (not when snorted) , not to the extent he has them, but wouldn't classify this as ego... of course there's no 'shoulds', but there's no point planning your entire 5 Meo course of action before taking it at least once. Take it once, see how you get on... if you're lucky, there won't be a "you" to plan all this anymore...
  16. These ideas do not pass even on this forum, how do you think they're going to be treated outside of this bubble?
  17. Careful you're not falling in the trap of not accepting valid science, along with "well if science cannot explain consciousness, then any other results are incorrect". If you haven't measured what you're eating, "easily double" is easily misreported. For how long did you eat "double"? 1 meal, 1 day, 1 week? And after, did you eat "easily half"? but you didn't care so eating less didn't register in your non-scientific experiment. I actually measured what I was eating for months. Was on holidays with some friends, where a guy maintained that he can eat "whatever he wants" and not gain weight. I mean sure, if whatever he wanted was at maintenance calories, that is true. However, when he tried to eat whatever I was eating, he was full by the second pancake... But sure, calories are nonsense
  18. ...seeing that death is not a problem that needs a solution
  19. All this triggering and expressions of judgement are coming from... the ego. What does 5 Meo inhibit? The ego. Good opportunity to examine the triggering process in more detail, maybe you can see through the illusion.
  20. 10+ years ago when I was into researching nutrition and exercise, I maintained my body weight for the given activity level I had by eating 2800 Calories every day. For weeks and months on end. When I was eating less than that (averaged over a week), I would lose weight. When eating more, I would gain weight. Magic!
  21. I'd hope most of us here are past "The Secret" spirituality. You are in to much pain to admit and face the truth. You do not understand this because you are in denial.
