Love to see that you give this importance to expression I'm currently looking for an accountable partner for my life purpose (making beautiful animation movies that makes people dreams; like Hayao Miyazaki) and I would really really like that this person would be someone that as a calling for art like me or at least have a connection with it. So yeah, if you are interest please check this post and let me know

Tomorrow I will go to my first Vipassana retreat (2y of mediation every day right now). I have 20 y old, I struggle a lot w my life purpose and my instinct is basically shouting that I have to get my ass up to create short movies; basically do work on my life purpose. However I caught this opportunity at the last minute of going on the Vipassana. I'm thinking to use the Vipassana as a retreat for visualize the shit out of my life purpose and really getting in touch w my stomach/guts/instinct, even if I can literally physically feel it (no kidding, when I think or hear something that my instinct feels right I have a little air bubble come up from my stomach to my throat, it's like my body tells me "yes"... weird but true -btw if someone knew more about this weird phenomen please let me know - ), plus rasing my awareness. I don't really know why I'm sharing this, I think mostly is because I know I have more important things to do than a vipassana right now (even if meditation is still important) and so I want some kind of approval or support... I would like some tips for the vipassana, and maybe yes, some encouragement and some "bro if you want to leave it, you can leave it", and some more stories about vipassana experience from you guys... don't really know. Wish me good luck, I will come back with more clarity about the person that I really am and that I really want to become. Peace <3 Ray

Woooooooowwww! now we're talking! So many cool vision boards! @Truth Yes we can see that it's the first attempt/draft n.1 because we can really feel that there's too much "leo influence" her. Focus more on what YOU, on the person behind the nickname "Truth", on what he loves, craves, have a fetish for, that will make more the trick (unless this vision board it's what YOUR instinct it's truly push you towards, but again I'm not sure). and maybe @aryberry gave you a good hint here . Simple and stupid fact: I could choose from thousands and incredible high quality sexy looking girl picture, but I choose the bottom left one because she have a book at her side (wisdom) and her feet in first plan ( ). So yeah, I know it's a werid example but it kinda gives you the idea that this Vision Board it's something really personal and contribute to the topic showing the importance of choosing wisely each picture keeping attention to all the little details. So yeah, good luck with your final one, share it here when you have it done :)) @Principium Nexus I've made it choosing image from internet and then assemble them with photoshop; if I remember correctly you can have a trial with photoshop @Alicja_ Someone really loved The big leap eh... Nice one! I really like the "minimal style". But at the same time what you are mainly focused here? I don't really get the idea... Regarding the picture of the meditation that @Captain Flint mentioned: if just this simple "critic" can "destabilize" you it's maybe a sign that it's a good image but not the best one, so maybe it could be interesting to keep it in mind when you will update it in your future one . @aryberry I really suggest you photoshop, it was super easy and enabled me to have the best quality poster; the only challenge was finding the images! @Emerald Wilkins and everyone else that don't know how to share it here because of the size or the format: use this online converter to convert your Vision board in jpg so you can then share it: http://www.zamzar.com/it/convert/psd-to-jpg/ @Peace and Love happy that you love this tread Actually I really like your vision board: it's really really personal and super original -contrary to the rest of us-, and maybe it's this his "imbalanced" side: a vision board is mentioned to be something that it's immediate, like that with just a glance you are filled w motivation (like the one that you have when you look at the pictures on the folders on your desktop). I almost feel like your vision board is a mix between a me sheet and a vision board, so maybe it will be better to separate them or add some more images/visual effect to your vision board But as always if you feel that this it's the right vision board for you that's it! Ray's advice are nothing in front of Peace and Love's gut feelings . @Soulbass but we love naked guuurllss! But yeah, you really got a point here: everybody c'mon: it's clear as fuck that we are really really really bios from Leo! as I said it before: "we are all bios a lot from Leo's ones; but if we stick with the process and -most importantly- we follow our intuitions and look for OUR values and balance, we can find our authentic way". I sure resonate with Leo on some aspects, but hell I'm not Leo! I love and hyper values anime, cinema and stand up comedy (and then enlightenment and personal development): I really have to focus more on those aspects! And I think that most of us here have to do the same thing: Vision Board have to be general but at the same time focused on a particular aspect (except if we feel that we have too work on lots of different ones at the same time, but I don't think that most of us are in this case); that's what make it powerful. "Focus equals power" as Tony Robbins says. We have to be more personal on these Vision Boards. So yeah, thanks a lot everyone! Got good insights here: I (and YOU) have to be more personal on my Vision Board And you, boy or gurl that is reading this and have a vision board, don't be shy, express yourself here, share

@Principium Nexus yyyyeeeeyy that's a really cool one, I'm almost fucking jealous here! Good job man
-
@blazed If your instinct tells you to give importance to enlightenment so be it; but my instinct and the instinct of lots of other people out there wants to focus more on life purpose. Then of course balance is the key, I to still meditate 1h per day etc... but right now I feel that I want to focus more on my life purpose. So yeah let our tread be And c'mon other actualized people, SHARE YOUR VISION BOOOAAAARDDDD
-
@Captain Flint Yeah I thought the same thing ahahah. C'mon guys, SHARE YOUR VISION BOARD HERE! @JKG Cool, good luck with your finals and with computer science. It's comforting that other people didn't started to work really much on the first life purpose that they have came up with... I had a focus similar interest to yours before; I guess that we are all bios a lot from Leo's ones; but if we stick with the process and -most importantly- we follow our intuitions and look for OUR values and balance, we can find our authentic way (the two of us are an example of that).

Hey Leo! did you change your surname? Because "Guru" and "Gura" are a pretty similar... or is just a lucky coincidence? (If you don't want answer no problem )
-
Oh shit. Yes I've already contacted the Tech support, I will wait the answer, thanks sir
-
I actually still can't access from 3-4 days... I'm the only one that have a message that appear that says: "Your account has been blocked for: security violation" ? @Loreena Yes, I think the best thing it's just to wait
-
@quantum ahah yess, I resonate a lot with your vision board for lots of aspect . For curiosity in what you work on? (if you don't want to answer don't do it, no worry ). Personally I wanted to become a public speaker of personal development, but right now I'm feeling more and more attract to anime. So yeah, I think I will make some small bets into the sector and see how it goes (personal development is will still be a part of me; and I will become a life coach if I will not succeed to make a shift into the anime movie sector before my university ends).

Or maybe that "logistics" are essentials...

How to reconcile Life Purpose with Enlightenment/truth? I would literally put almost an entire episode or FAQ on this. I know that it's a constant question, but people that bought the course are mostly actualized.org "fans", aka in a big chunk just self development jukies, and because actualized.org have changed vision and focus more on the "sage" prospective it's necessary to really make it clear how to put together these 2 things, because people now see this thing called "enlightenment" which is the most important things of all", leading to be "unhealthy" confused. I know that you have already answer the question here and there on the forum and in recent videos, but I believe that you should answer it in a video or into a "clear" way. I've been following actualized.org for 2 year now, and I've saw all the videos multiple times, done the course, read some book in the booklist etc... and I will soon enough post a list of video request that I'm sure you will appreciate because as far as I'm concerned I'm feeling myself like a part of actualized.org and so I can "see" where it want to go (topics like chakra, sex & enlightenment, paranormal etc...), where this "entity"/organism want to go; but because of the SHIFT that you've recently make, you have to reconcile the new with the old in a clear way, and I think that it's really important to put it into a clear way, even if in part you already done it.

Here a beautiful speech regarding the inner connections between purpose (dreams) and friends relationships. "They are driven to pursue it, and they pursue it solely for their own sake, no other. One man's dream can hold dominion over the entire world, for one who dedicates his life to the forging of a single sword. While many can pursue their dreams in solitude, other dreams are like great storms blowing hundreds even thousands of dreams apart in their wake. Dreams breathe life into men, and can cage them in suffering. Men live and die by their dreams, but long after they've been abandoned, they still smolder deep in men's hearts. Some see nothing more than life and death. They are dead! For they have no dreams. ... They are my able soldiers it's true, they are dedicated comrades who sacrifice themselves for my dream so that it might be real. But that does not make them friends. In my mind a true friend never relies on another's dream. The man, who would be my friend, must have his own reason for living, beyond me. And he should put his heart and soul into protecting his dream. He should never hesitate to defend it, even against me. For me to call a man my friend, he must be equal to me in all respects." What personally I love is the poetry of the scene and the "concept" of the last part of the speech. Really a beautiful and elegant piece of art.

Yeah I'm thinking about create some topic regarding anime here in the forum because I'm feeling more and more attract to anime, maybe to the point that I would like to make it my job/life purpose. And I've see lots of people on the forum quoting anime or making Naruto reference etc... (I believe because in part it comes from the fact that we resonate with leo personality and because most of us are "internet explorer/" It would be amazing to have friends that would be interest on my exact same thing (anime, cinema, stand up comedy, mediation enlightenment/philosophy and personal development -in order ). So yeah we will fusion actualized.org w anime "Believe it"

@Lorcan he just said that he might envision to make it one, not that he will; and as you know right now he's really busy regarding "topic" of sage so I would say that if he will do something it will be at least in 2 year, but at the same time it's completely up to his inner instinct, and probably he will never do it. The most important thing, as we were saying with @Peace and Love is being content with what we are doing, and the only thing that will make it in the end is follow our instinct and is what Leo he's currently doing. So yeah I think it's better if we forget about this topic right now

We all know that visualisations techniques are really effective and leads us to "implant", "transform" and "reprogram" our mind to reach what we want; and they work (accordingly to most Personal development material and our experience etc...). And we all know that violent videogames do not cause a boost of violence or likewise emotions/behaviour etc... But videogames really looks like a form of visualization! Think for example to a first-person-shooting like Call of Duty or even GTA. Isn't that a sort of visualizations? in fact we would say that it could be some kind of effective and entertaining guided visualisation. So why violent videogames dosen't affect our violent behaviour? Do we consider them something else? Our subconscious is aware enough that this are just game? Dose other part of the brain activate while we do visualizations than when we play videogames? It's interesting
-
Well, I think I got my answer We can say that the topic is resolved! Thanks everybody for your contribution!! @Peace and Love Since you've mentioned no, I'm not interested on making videogames and right now I know that I'm using them as an emotional crutch, but I've plan to reducing it. I'm interested on making movies... which maybe have an industry even worst than videogames ahahah. But yeah, it's my art, so I want and I will follow it. Thanks for the reminder and I've really appreciate your detail comment I always felt like videogames were still something for Leo and I find really respectable that Leo admit that one day he could make videogames (saw his current situation, directions, values etc...) this it's truly a proof of open mindedness from his part I think. Great job!

@Soulbass but don't you find that is weird that the subconscius is not effected by it and is really effected by visualization? Like it must be a little and subtle gap that in reality plays a huge role for distinguish the 2. And we can't really put a finger on it, we can only say that yes he can distinguish it because if he wouldn't we would be all serial killer... but how precisely he can do that? and why? this is what interest me... @brovakhiin Yes for now it's my "first hypothesis"; but I would like to have a more precise answer . I love too minimal beautiful games like Journey, Abzu, and Proteus, such an experience, they are almost like an interactive beautiful movie. But right now I'm trowing my life away with The binding of Isaac Afterbirth ahah

@Shin I simply mean that the most important thing is your emotional drive, the "feelings", what leo call instinct; everything else (regarding the life purpose thing) must come after that. Example: you have an instinct towards humor and make people laughs, the exercise on the lp course regarding values is to increase the focus of that instinct, is to make it more precise; but it' more important to keep a vague instinct than a precise "rational"/ non-instinctive inclination, the life purpose is an "emotional" thing, not a rational one: during the course - I felt- that you can be drowned by all this amazing rational-big picture understanding stuff: therefore try to always stick to you emotions, to your guts, instinct, rather than than too much theory. I'm not advocating that theory is bad, theory it's amazing, but it must be use to support the instinct. It's almost like the course clearly reflect the Leo's values and his prospective in life so you can be too much influenced if you are not enough aware. Regarding values I believe that you must look deeper. However is possibile that the things that are on the top of your list "values" much more than the things on the bottom of your list, so you have this effect that the last one are "kinda cool". The most important one are the top one, and regarding those you must be really sure about it, the rest is important but secondary. So yeah, look deeper but if you "instinctively" feel that your current list is right, you feel enough satisfied with it I would say that you can take the next step of the course. Cheers
