I highly suggest autonomy being one of your top values if you care about not being swayed by group-think and ideologies of any kind. Which, paradoxically, can make you a much better citizen and asset to society.

@Danioover9000 That depends on what your values are to begin with. And how deeply you understand and integrate those values.

The responsible thing to do is to take action based on your own values, not solely based on what other people or groups tell you. And own that decision without blaming others or becoming a victim to your own decision.

@Gabith Just remember that there are plenty of people on here who have suffered a great deal (including myself) and were able to overcome major problems that have kept them stuck, even though it seemed impossible at first. This does not mean that all problems go away, it simply means that consciousness expands.
