  2. I started intentionally becoming aware of my dreams two nights ago, as well as created a dream journal. So far, I’m amazed at the results. Stuff that I’m dealing with in what we traditionally consider the “real world” translates over into the “dream world”. The difference is that in a dream state, things are much more fluid; you start experiencing things you couldn’t otherwise (closest thing from my experience would be psychedelic trips). I’m not just talking about some crazy visuals or morphing into a different creature, it could simply just be experiencing emotions that you otherwise suppress in the “real world”. For example, I was able to explore how anger works in one of my dream. I felt like a lion who was protecting his land… I felt like nobody could fuck with me. But there was also compassion and an ability to let anger go. One thing I learned from that dream: ya’ll who were bashing Leo last week don’t realize that Leo is you. Even realizing this, say, 5% is a big step. Don’t underestimate that, but also don’t be complacent! Go experience anger for yourself, consciously, and see what happens. Of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg of what you can explore in dreams; that’s why I can’t wait to dive deeper! Does anyone else have experience exploring dreams? I’d love to hear your perspective and any tips you have.
  3. @peanutspathtotruth I wish you the best on your journey! Feel free to come back whenever you want. Paradoxically, I think the way Leo communicates actually makes him more human. Do you think someone like Rupert Spira would have an angry outburst in public? Public figures do a great job of showing only the parts of themselves that they want to project. Leo seems to be going against that mindset. How can we improve our lives if we only focus on how we believe we should be acting?
  4. Right now, it can be a powerful tool that would otherwise be too time consuming and resource intensive for humans to do alone. For example, I have ADHD. I’ve been using GPT-4 to help break down tasks I need to do to make them less daunting. Sure, I could’ve asked my therapist or family members to help breakdown these tasks, but GPT-4 was able to do that in a minute, whereas it might have taken ~15 mins away from a therapy session or family interaction. That frees up time to be focusing on other things. So another way to frame it is AI can revolutionize how people do their work; replace the idea of how you believe things should be done.
  5. That hit me hard. My mother was with me the whole time when I was struggling with autism and my mental health conditions. She never gave up, and allowed me to make all the mistakes I needed to make to get to where I am now. We are both in a much better place in our lives, and your work is a major reason for that.
  6. Some of the dialogue in the Star Wars prequel trilogy seems like it was written by AI. Is George Lucas an AI?
  7. People are not stupid, in the sense that majority would vote for DeSantis over Trump even if this arrest story wasn’t a factor.
  8. Mentally ill people like you and I technically shouldn’t be on this forum. We are part of the <1% mentally ill people that will benefit from this work
  9. Life will teach you. For example, I recently got into a car accident. After that happened, I changed my driving habits drastically.
  10. I am so lost, no idea what y’all are talking about, lol. But if I had to guess, it’s an obsession related to OCD. It’s good to know that people who have OCD can have all kinds of obsessions, but it doesn’t mean that we want to act on them. That’s why we do compulsions as an attempt to neutralize the obsessions (I have OCD).
  11. That’s an interesting insight! Reminds me of my stoner friends, they all go bananas when it becomes 4:20
  12. Not Leo, but I’ve experienced death on it my very first time. That does not mean that my visual field went black. I was in so much shock about my true nature, then it turned into panic. Don’t underestimate weed! But congrats also if you breakthrough
  13. Oh, and of course, what it’s like when we take Leo seriously
  14. Can’t see it, it says it’s a private video.
  15. Kudos for your bravery. As a fellow person with OCD, you inspire me.
  16. I used to label these awakenings as anxiety attacks or dissociation, but now I started to become curious and explore deeper
  17. I feel that when you break free from suffering, you can connect to others who are suffering on a deeper level.
  18. Not a comedian per se, but this video series is hella funny (and even informative). He started releasing these videos online way back in 2006, and he still makes new ones to this day!
  19. Thank you for sharing. I am observing suffering as I’m writing this post. There is definitely something bigger going on here.
  20. You’re in for a big surprise, my friend
  21. You can also get a YouTube Premium subscription to be able to download videos offline. You can even choose which resolution you want to download each video, which is good if you’re limited on internal storage. The episodes are also available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Although, new episodes aren’t immediately available on those platforms.
  22. Sweet. Ill be sure to check that out. I also didn’t know he lived outside San Antonio, TX. Not too far from me, ha.
  23. Nice. I use all the supplements you mentioned (besides inositol) and it seems to help. Have you ever done exposure response prevention (ERP) therapy by any chance?
