  1. You cannot help someone who is not willing to help themselves. Furthermore, it’s not our duty to help someone like him. We are actually enabling his troublesome behavior by doing so. Our attention should be focused on the bigger picture if we want to have long-term success raising the consciousness of humanity. Just this morning I had Jehovah’s Witness knock on my door wanting to convert me to their ideology. I clearly was not interested. In order to help them, I politely told them “No, thank you.” when they asked me if they can ever come back.
  2. Great, there’s a whole universe out there waiting for you outside of university.
  3. If only Peter Ralston could join the convo. Would love to get HIS perspective on the matter, directly. Someone should tell him to make an Actualized.org Self-Improvement Forum account.
  4. @shree just tell them “Don’t have a cow, man.” ?
  5. Day 3 of switching to a high CBD oil that I was prescribed. I am not high, but my spirits are high and I feel more alive in da human form
  6. GOD has clearly spoken Time to wean off the forum everyone lol.
  7. That may work for neurotypical folks, but for those like me and @LSD-Rumi who have OCD, labeling practices or techniques can actually turn into a compulsion if we’re not careful. Mentioned from 18:50 - 22:24:
  8. At much higher states, ego, people, and even the concept of what is real and unreal won’t even matter. That’s why DEATH is such a powerful word. It’s something an human can relate to, but unfortunately can also be a barrier since it’s beyond survival. And that’s why what’s trying to be communicated here is beyond any possible human attainment.
  9. In a certain sense, it’s a great thing that they aren’t awake. So that they can help humans raise their consciousness!
  10. Here’s a giant hint: YOU are dreaming Peter Ralston and Leo Gura into existence Or maybe it’s a small hint, whatever floats your boat.
  11. Yep, they also make great emotional support animals. My therapist has a really cute dog!
  12. My sister has. It helped her when she was going through a mental breakdown during the beginning of the pandemic (she’s was a night shift nurse at the time and fairly new to the job).
  13. Which one if you don’t mind sharing?
  14. Avoidance or escape is a short-term solution to fear and suffering. (in other words, we learn that when we’re exposed to our fear it creates suffering; thus we must avoid or escape it. This works in the short-term. The suffering goes away… until the fear comes back. Then you must repeat the cycle over again, keeping you stuck.) Fear -> Suffering -> Avoid/escape -> Short-term relief Repeat By staying in this cycle, you never learn to fully face your fears. Instead: face your fear, suffer mindfully, cut out the safety behaviors (e.g. avoid/escape), and learn that you can handle it. (this is something you need to practice over and over again; doing it once ain’t gonna do it).
  15. Being high 24/7 is not the way to go. Take it from Kevin Smirh:
  16. Can’t speak for Leo on that, but I’m glad that I’m not the only one dealing with burnout here (albeit, in a different context). There’s a term called “autistic burnout” that I believe I struggle with, given that I have autism. https://psychcentral.com/autism/autistic-burnout#signs
  17. Sounds to me like a vivid dream out of an infinite amount of dreams that GOD can dream. And I’ve had that dream several times before. Interestingly, it can be terrifying or beautiful, yet it’s the same experience. Strange, huh?
  18. Thank you. The research on psychedelics and substances (like cannabis) for mental health conditions is criminally scarce. Despite that, I ain’t gonna wait for science to catch, but at the same time I’m not going to be reckless about how I use them
