  1. What would limit GOD from creating parts of itself? Limiting Reality to being effortless is a mistake. This is the most unfortunate trap of nondual teachings.
  2. Ehh, that’s what autopay is for. And DoorDash. Just be careful not to use these tools as a way to avoid hard work. Most people do.
  3. More and more, whenever deep bouts of fear arise, it becomes directly clear that not only am I creating the fear, but anybody I reach out to for help is also me, because I’m communicating with Myself! Sounds scary, but from higher perspectives it’s clearly seen as Love. This is exactly what we are avoiding. Love! It’s so beautiful; it can annihilate all previous notions you have of yourself the deeper you let it in!
  4. @Princess Arabia Thank you
  5. I don’t hear anybody complaining that dinosaurs and neanderthals are extinct.
  6. I’m 27 as well, so I can relate to your struggle. Trust me, it’s never too late to change the course of your life. This will require gradually shedding away old beliefs you have about yourself and discovering new perspectives. Like zooming out and seeing the bigger picture, giving you more clarity about who you are. Making a long-term commitment towards forgiving yourself is helpful. It’s not about ignoring and forgetting the pain and regret, it’s about a deep acceptance of yourself. And realizing that you can still move forward despite your circumstances. // (Imagine shedding away old beliefs as organically losing layers of yourself that’ve been weighing you down + giving you a false sense of protection, rather than pushing it away.)
  7. Sure there’s value. For example, if you’re afraid of talking to girls, but deep inside you want to talk to them and get to know them. The solution isn’t to avoid them. Doing that makes it worse in the long-term. Instead, you want to make a commitment to talk to them gradually and learn that you can handle it. With repeated practice the fear can transform into excitement.
  8. My first kiss was awkward as fudge. No shame in that. In fact, when we talked about how awkward it was weeks later, we both got a great kick out of it. With more practice you will, for sure, get better at the kissing game. Don’t give up!
  9. @Osaid Thank you for bringing up emotions. There are actually people who have extreme difficulty recognizing, expressing, and describing their emotions. It’s called alexithymia. Humans are fascinating.
  10. We’re here to understand what Reality is. Happiness is important, but so is sadness.
  11. Very insightful video. I don’t need to say anything else.
  12. Everyone has an opinion on something. Even work that is objectively considered “the best” can be perceived negatively. Take for example The Beatles. There will still be some people who say that their music is overrated and not good enough.
  13. Yet there are “aha!” moments that arise, seemingly out of nowhere, and it’s beautiful and inspiring.
  14. Rest assured, I am most certainly a buffoon.
  15. No, what’ll happen in due time is you’ll stop taking your human life for granted and start to appreciate it with a fresh perspective. Trust me, you wouldn’t want that even if you were given the option to. Again, not because you’re bored of realizing that you’re GOD, but because you start to truly appreciate why limitation exists and how important it is to appreciate all aspects of REALITY.
  16. Slow down. Your foot is stuck on the gas pedal without you realizing it. You’ve mentioned that you’ve gone through “a dark knight of the soul”. It would be wise to take some time off to process it, rather than continue business as usual as if nothing had happened.
  17. From my experience it’s not that it’s boring. Rather, it’s completely shocking. Hence the term, “Oh my God!”
  18. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the Earth we live on… that, too, has many unhealthy aspects to it. So what’s the solution?
  19. I moved to a pretty progressive part of Texas a few years ago from New Jersey. Just because Texas is hella conservative doesn’t mean you can’t find a few progressive parts. Moving here changed my view of Texas. Had I not moved here, my paradigm of Texas as a whole would be hella biased and hateful. I’ve also visited some conservative parts since moving here, and I can tell you that the people are real friendly, and I’m considered a minority!
