For sure. I’ve spent decades in relationships that were predominantly conditional. I’ve only begun exploring relationships that are more unconditional; it’s shocking to my psyche to say the least. I’m starting to feel alive again.

@Ulax I didn’t start working with a top tier therapist until I started using psychedelics seriously. And just to clarify, when I say top tier, I don’t mean that you judge them solely by their academic achievements or years of experience. It’s more about working with someone who genuinely connects with you. Psychedelics can help you understand yourself better, so that’s why I don’t think it was an accident that I’m finally working with one that gets me.

I agree. Working with a top tier therapist expands your mind, rather than just correcting you. They are committed to understanding you, rather than forcing you to fit into their idea of what is right. Good luck finding one like that, though. They’re exceptionally rare.

I think the huge assumption here is that a priest, scientist, AI, nature, etc. is separate from Yourself. In other words, from a higher state of consciousness, when you interact with another person, you see them as You. Or even if you sit out in nature, you can see the trees, the birds, the bees as You.

That might be a good idea… create an AI program that helps people with contemplation.

You see, that is the core issue here. Enlightenment seekers are gung ho on making entire Reality fit into one convenient enlightened box that you need to maintain. If your enlightened master says, “I’ll meet you at that place.”… you better have a giant broom of Infinite Love to smack them with!
