To be fair, the people I’m imagining aren’t into spirituality, so that could also be a factor. Those that had a mystical experience but lack spiritual understanding inevitably stop taking the psychedelics altogether. They thoroughly convince themselves that something went wrong. We are the nut cases that realize that something went right!

I’d suggest not surrendering your autonomy for the need to seek peoples’ approval.

We are all making shit up my dude. Think of it like how many people wear different outfits depending on the context. At a bar, you’ll more likely dress more provocatively. At work, you dress professionally (unless you work for a tech company). At church you dress like private school kid. Which outfit is the truth and which outfit is a lie?
