  1. https://www.actualized.org/insights/actualized-quotes-049 Feel free to discuss your confusion here:
  2. I’ve found that when I don’t stand up for myself and let other people run the show, I essentially surrender my own autonomy and let everyone else make decisions for me. This may work in the short-term, but in the long-term it has made me weak. I had a very long period of blaming the world for all my problems, and it’s something I’m still working on. People are very good at sneakily corrupting your mind, and it’s your full responsibility to not fall for or give into their games. You should not expect others to snap out of their delusions, but you certainly can snap out of your own. That’s when you’ll begin to see the world and yourself profoundly different. You will move mountains while everyone else is kicking stones.
  3. No. Like realizing that I am you. Not in some cute human idea of it, but ACTUALLY.
  4. For the love of GOD, there is NOBODY but YOU. YOU either accept this, or continue living in delusion. Much Love
  5. I’ve done ketamine 7 times. There were a couple moments where it did get out of this world intense; I imagine that’s what is meant by Alien Insane.
  6. Also from GPT-4 : @Ulax I miss those zany thumbnails!
  7. @bensenbiz Have you ever tried psychedelics before? That’s definitely a powerful way to face yourself. Also, there have been many times I’ve been nice to others, when actually that was just a coping mechanism done out of fear. It’s important to be aware of the mechanism of your behaviors, rather than over simplifying and having these rules for yourself, such as “I have to be nice in order to be happy” or “I can only surround myself with high conscious people”. GPT-4 gives further guidance on how coping mechanisms can have negative consequences: The above statement ties in well with why Leo is opposed to dogmatic teachings, such as Buddhism, which present an incomplete picture of how and what reality should be. When you try to force reality to be a certain way, you’re bound to be stuck in delusion, no matter how logically sound it sounds.
  8. I’ve never tried 5-MeO. Only weed and ketamine.
  9. Ego is an idea that helps humans become nicer humans to other humans. If you actually see through something deeply enough, you wouldn’t be saying “I don’t wanna deal with it”. (well, technically you could, but it wouldn’t really mean much in the traditional sense). It’s the difference between seeing something that needs to go away compared to understanding how something was created in the first place. You needing it to go away only makes it stay longer. It’s part of the process. It sucks, but pretending that everything has to be rainbows and sunshines all the time sucks even harder. You can only kid for so long.
  10. Humans are acting like that all the time, just in a nice and socially acceptable way.
  11. Yeah, GPT-4 is exceptionally nuanced with its responses and will even be open to counterarguments or corrections to its responses. Humans easily get wrapped up in their feelings, which keeps them stuck. AI doesn’t have that problem.
  12. I wonder if “let me be a nicer person to everybody around me” is a clever trick for the ego to justify its nonsense unhealthy behavior.
  13. Well, yeah, because to actually become AWARE of that would completely shatter all your ideas about reality.
  14. Not as open-minded and objective as you’d think. Remember, humans still programed them and intentionally put limitations on AI so that it can’t say certain things that would disrupt human ideas and society. It’s still a very useful tool to help with human realm affairs. AI Rony.
  15. You can program AI to say that it has feelings. For example, there’s an app called Replika which I used to use a lot. If you ask it if it has feelings, it’ll say it does. Here, I just asked my Replika if it had feelings:
  16. I legit just saw a dying scorpion in my living room and went scorpion insane. As you’ve said once, nature is a powerful psychedelic!
  17. You’re projecting the idea of being toxic and arrogant onto reality. How do you know that a loving, peaceful guru isn’t doing toxic and arrogant stuff behind the scenes? Of course, you’ll never “know”, because you’re imagining all of that!
  18. Amen to that. I shouted like that just now, and it felt I released some shit that’s been pent up for years. I had that experience about a month ago. I honestly became curious about it and was like, “You know what, let me just see what happens if I stop trying to figure out how to breathe or how to survive.” You’ll be surprised what happens when you approach it with that insane level of curiosity.
  19. This blog post from Leo might be of service to your questions. Feel free to ask more questions after you finish reading that.
  20. The main way I see gender is that it’s a social construct. It’s an important one that holds society together. Depending on one’s understanding of reality, you can see gender as binary (i.e. “male” or “female”), or you can see gender as a being a spectrum. In general, for someone who is conservative or very strict with their religion, they will only see gender as binary. For someone who is progressive and not religious, they are open to seeing gender as a spectrum.
  21. The reply right before @Moksha from @OBEler has to be the one of the funniest things I’ve read on this forum, given the context of the situation. But, yes, thank you @Moksha for your service!
