  1. Yep, of course it is. I am prescribed it from a doctor.
  2. I’d say it’s realizing more and more that all meaning is imaginary, and all attempts to make reality better is an illusion. This may sound paradoxically depressing, but deeply understanding why we do anything to begin with starts to shed light on the matter. If we are doing things for the purpose of survival and to reach some goal/achievement, yet God is eternally dreaming, then what does that say about meaning?
  3. It seems to have really helped this dude, even though he was on the verge of suicide prior to taking it.
  4. @Buck Edwards This might be useful to watch first (his post-trip report):
  5. I don’t see the problem. Where is the problem?
  6. That’s really impressive that you watched every single video of Leo’s. Including his blog videos? That’s a hell of an achievement right there.
  7. It’s amazing how much growth can happen in a span of 5-12 months. Hallelujah!
  8. To live with more integrity is to allow the opinion and judgement of others (and you own!) be fully expressed, while not compulsively reacting to it by getting rid of the uncomfortable feelings or avoiding them. I feel like this is the trap people fall into when spiritual teachers preach about “remaining neutral”. You need to learn how to handle discomfort in a healthy way as opposed to attempting to remain neutral about it. Perhaps emotional integrity is what you’re lacking right now, but it can be developed. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/childhood-emotional-neglect/202202/6-signs-relationship-lacks-emotional-integrity
  9. That’s a really impressive story; something I’d expect from The Onion. He probably smelled like a thousand spoiled onions.
  10. You need to realize that you’re imagining all spiritual teachers (yes, even Leo Gura), and you’re imagining all psychedelics as well. Of course the answer is “God is imagining all of it”, but are you aware of that right now? Hint: if you’re not, then I’m also not!
  11. *Psychological farts.~*
  12. I mean, the dude shit on his carpet instead of going on a hot date with his girl friend… gotta admit, not a lot of spiritual people can claim that achievement
  13. John Swartzwelder, legendary Simpsons writer (and apparently a “recluse”). I’d like to ask him if he’s taken any psychedelics, because clearly his ability to write an insane amount of gold is not natural https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Swartzwelder
  14. What do you mean by being on autopilot? And how do you feel when you’re on autopilot? Autopilot is an interesting term, because in your context it sounds like being stuck, but autopilot can also imply reality moving fluidly without you needing to control anything.
  15. Ultimately, you cannot escape yourself because you are God. It’s when you’re dreaming that you forget this, and that’s okay. Your human life and its psychological problems are still God, and it’s to be respected. That means going to therapy and taking your medications (if you take them). You will eventually be able to accept yourself as God and free yourself of the torment you place upon yourself, but you need to respect your limitations as well.
  16. Mental disorders are serious and should not be taken lightly. It’s not wise to delve into spirituality if you are not taking care of your mental disorders first and foremost.
  17. Yes and no. If that is how you perceive us, then that is true for you. However, I do not see everybody as being bots, so it’s not true for me. I’d highly advise seeing a therapist if you want to move forward with your life, if you’re not seeing one already.
  18. @Cocolove Paradoxically, you have a deep recontextualization of what religion refers to as “Word of God”.
  19. You cannot help someone who is not willing to help themselves. Furthermore, it’s not our duty to help someone like him. We are actually enabling his troublesome behavior by doing so. Our attention should be focused on the bigger picture if we want to have long-term success raising the consciousness of humanity. Just this morning I had Jehovah’s Witness knock on my door wanting to convert me to their ideology. I clearly was not interested. In order to help them, I politely told them “No, thank you.” when they asked me if they can ever come back.
