  6. @Francis777 being selfish isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Being part of society is itself selfish if you think about it. You use resources like water, gas, food, etc. So this idea that you need to let go of all selfish desires might very well be holding you back a ton.

  11. Gradually expose yourself to new experiences that you’re passionate about. The initial results may seem mundane / pointless / hopeless, but keep at it and you’ll start to discover love and passion organically revealing itself. Your sense of purpose will rejuvenate.
  12. I’ve also gone through the wringer many times with mystical experiences. However, they’ve gotten much easier the more I exposed myself to them completely raw and unapologetically. This doesn’t mean that I’m now completely fearless and have no struggles anymore in life. For example, I still have crippling social anxiety in certain situations, so I need much more practice and effort than most people.
